Haha that’s great to hear! I would love to make more videos too but it’s hard to find the time. You should see how many dishes are in my sink atm due to working on this video lolol happy holidays!
Yes to the waistband band hacks, I struggle with the waistband on everything, but without it I look frumpy and bigger than I actually am. Merry Christmas and a happy new year. ❤
Yes please to the waistband hacks. 2024 was mostly knitting and crochet for me. My favourite sewing project was patching jeans to wear in the garden/for housework and cutting some down for gardening shorts for my husband. I enjoy extending the working life of things. So lovely to see your gorgeous kitten. We lost our 19 and a half year old tortie just before Christmas. Tina looks just like her when she was young.
I love seeing all these end of year makes videos, they're so inspiring! I started sewing towards the end of last year, and this year I went totally full steam ahead. I think my two favourite makes this year was a gorgeous Kielo Wrap Dress from Named Clothing early in the year for a wedding guest outfit, and (not just saying this because it's your video, lol) a SO beautiful and super comfy Endless Summer Shirt in a viscose/linen blend three weeks ago. Working on a few adjustments I think I'll need for the Magic Pants currently, and planning on doing those over this last little bit of the year.
I liked your waistband adjustment ideas. My favorite item I made this past year was jeans with triple white topstitching done on the coverstitch machine as an experiment. I liked them so much I also made a denim jacket with matching triple topstitching! let's keep sewing and experimenting !!!
Oh wow. L love the black and white Tshirt. Really into adjustable pants. Working on my next magic pants. Excited about your new ideas. I'm getting my sister's fabric stash and hoping for something tto make an endless summer shirt with. Thank you for all of your inspiration.
I’ve nearly finished my wearable toile Magic Pants and they have been wonderful to sew . Instructions are very comprehensive and easy to follow. I love the adjustable waist. With comfort in mind and the knit panel in the front. I have a bit of a low slung mum tum and this panel will give me a little support, however I would love to see a bit more thought into tummy control🎉. Can’t wait t wear my new Magic Pants and have a striped fabric ready to cut for my second pair. Have a wonderful Xmas & thank you for releasing my fear of pant sewing. My top pattern for 2024😢
What an amazing supportive comment 🥲 I haven’t tried it but I wonder if you could use power knit or power mesh for the center panel and it could give more tummy hold? So much to experiment with! Happy holidays and thanks so much for the kind words. Best Xmas present ever!
I appreciate your content so much, especially at the end of the year when I clean up my craft room. It's so useful to understand how other people follow a sewing journey. I hope you have a fabulous holiday season!
A set of instructions to convert a standard waist band design to an adjustable one is a fabulous idea. There are really only a few different waist band designs so once you convert those, you'd be set for every pant pattern there is. I'd buy that the day you released it.
Great video Ann I really enjoyed watching …. Love the bag you made it is so cute …. Wow I wish everywhere would put labels on what you buy …. I often forget what I buy …. I feel so inspired to make more clothing and some bags for next year ,… My favourite make I made this year was some trousers& waistcoat as part of a suit for my son …. I’m hoping to get the jacket finished very soon …. I’ve never made trousers or a jacket before but I’ve really enjoyed the challenge …. Thanks for a great inspiring video 💜💜 Tina
This was so incredibly helpful!! I was feeling down on myself for not making as much as i would have liked because my work hours have been horrendous. But, i still completed 20 projects! My favourite (and most complimented!) are my split tartan magic pants, my biggest failure was a goth green dress with snake embroidery (still kind of love it, but it looks too much like a Slytherin school uniform.... Not the vibe i was hoping for!) My cutest was a ranbow tulle skirt with pom poms i made for a friends 6yr old daughter, based on her own design called "the best and most beautiful skirt in the whole wide world". My most creative wasnt a garment, but a fabric "welcome" book i made for a friend who started fostering. Im a social worker in child protection, and wanted to help with some of the biggest difficulties kiddies have coming into a new home. This has 15 different little faces, so the child can make the book about them, the things they love, as well as the other family members, to help with the settling in process. Thank you so much for the 20% discount, but i realised i think i already have all your patterns! Best of luck, cant wait for the next one :-)
I always want to get up and sew after watching your videos. I really like how detailed you talk about fails! My best make is a t-shirt for my 6-year-old, and my worst is a pair of joggers wich came out too small. Merry x-mas & Happy new year from Sweden!
I’d love to see a booklet with all your adjustable waistband designs 🙏. I work as an upholsterer so I’m constantly bending, stretching and squatting, your waistband ideas would definitely improve my handmade workwear.
I just pulled out a sewing machine that had been sitting in my basement for an embarrassing length of time and started sewing things over the Christmas/New Year's break. I stared off with blankets, capes, and skirts for my kids' dolls and it was so fun! Then I came across Carly B on RUclips talking about your magic pants, so I watched your sew-along videos. I think they're a little above my skill set at the moment, but I would looove to see if I can progress enough this year to get them made.
Thanks for making this video. Its lovely to see an overview including 'fails'. Im hoping to make a quilted jacket this year, as well as some adjuatable waist trousers! So I will keep an eye out to see if you do a set of adjustable waistbands! 🎉
Wonderful projects! I love your ideas for more comfortable waistlines for pants, and wondered about expanding them to skirts. I find skirts to be just as uncomfortable as pants - the waistline can bind the same way- after a nice meal😝 or simply by sitting down. My favorite project this year was reworking- upcycling- a denim dress that was my mother’s. After she passed away, I inherited most of her wardrobe, and much of it she actually never wore. It was poignant to find these pieces that she liked enough to buy, and probably saw them as adventurous styles - going out of her comfort zone- but never got the courage to wear them. I loved learning through this discovery process how my mother wanted to see herself- where she wanted to take her personal style if only she was brave enough. So I took this sheaf of a denim dress- v-neck with zipper down the back, midi length, and Princess seaming- and made myself a denim vest and skirt from it. I love the pieces! I can hear my mother- who taught me how to sew- saying “oh, those are very nice pieces!” and being proud of what she taught me.
My favourite make of the year were my first period panties! Woohoo! I made the Sophie Hines perfect panties. I'd been hesitant to make any because of the different fabrics needed for the period panties part so I ended up buying a kit so I could have my hand held. Love them!
Loved the fabric you created for Frocktails! I am inspired to finish dying a cotton/linen fabric and finally sew something with it. It was originally grey and I dyed it green but messed it up so then I tried to remove all the color. 😊 🫣
This is the first video of yours that I've watched and I really enjoyed it! My favourite make of the year is a Donny shirt in a flowy fabric with artichokes and chard on it, like a luxe gardening shirt.
Thank you for sharing your 2024 makes Ann! I would definitely be interested in purchasing an adjustable/flexible waistband add on pattern that could be used for any pant pattern or waistband. That is a great idea and gives flexibility to tackle the rigidity of pant sizes xx
Exciting video! I love your creativity and enthusiasm! Thank you for inspiring me to continue to push myself to make really unique garments. Love it!!!
I am returning to making garments for myself after a 30 year hiatus. In more recent years I have sewed a few items for my grandchildren and knitted even more for them and my family. For me, creating handmade items is all about the process! I'm so happy that I just discovered your channel tonight when it showed up in my feed. I'm looking forward to binge watching your older videos, and I'm sure I'll learn a ton and be inspired as I check out your patterns and creative ideas 💜
Thanks for the discount! I ordered 2 patterns including the Magic Pants which look like a game changer (as they say). My waist fluctuates so much, and I have such a straight mid-body that I’m a size XS hip and L waist in your pattern🙄 But I have high hopes for this design. This is the first time I’ve seen your channel, and I subscribed🥰
I really enjoy watching your videos you're so creative. It's so encouraging to see the undergarments you've made. I'm on a mission to have a all me-made wardrobe.
This was very inspiring to see how you adapt and experiment with patterns! My favorite make this year was a pair of black and white plaid pants (you would like the color scheme!).❤
Yes! The booklet of methods to make any pant pattern adjustable is such a good idea. I would buy it and use it 1000% I love my magic pants so much and I've been thinking about how to get that adjustability into different pants patterns. I adore the Arthur pants by Sew Liberated (button front version) but it can look a little too baggy in the back with all that elastic and ease back there. If i could get the look of the Arthur front with the comfort of the magic pants and the beautiful finishing and booty fit of the magic pants, i would just cry. Thank you for sharing all of your makes and experiments!
Babe!!! You are so freaking inspiring and cool. Truly hope to get to make with you again soon. (P.S. it was your round up video from the end of last year that finally got me to make my own!)
99% of my wardrobe is self made. Love your black & white tee and the Pom Pom black & white pullover is on my list. Anxious to see your finished sweater.
I love your roundup! I sewed a lot this year, despite a few obstacles, and plan to assess everything after the holidays. I have the Magic Pants printed and ready to go soon, I got a wool gabardine from Stonemountain & Daughter recently that I think would be the right weight. The Blackbird sale got me too - and I even bought the same "peacock" color jersey. If I have enough I may do a wrap dress. I'd love to see either a new adjustable waist pattern OR the booklet you mentioned with different techniques. Either one would be of interest! I'd also love it if you sold labels with your "Lacoste Mark". I love to sew labels into the clothes I make, it's one of those nice finishing touches that only I see, like a hong kong finish in bias tape I cut myself. Excited to see what you get up to in 2025. We met briefly at Raleigh Frocktails so who knows, we may meet again. It was great to see some of the production process of your dress - you explained it to me at the party, and the layers of screen printing and vinyl blew my mind!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing and so fun we met irl. I would def go again to another Raleigh frocktails. Would also love to have another opportunity to wear that dress… And so fun we got the same fabric. They have such a nice shop!
I love the idea of a book to teach me how to adapt my good fitting pants pattern to have an adjustable waist. Some of us have a very challenging time fitting our pants, and the idea of not having to adjust a new pattern sounds wonderful!! I’ve been thinking about your Magic Pants for a while, but it took me so long to get a good fit on my Burda pants, that I’ve been hesitant to have to start over on the fitting process with a new brand/sloper. My favorite make of the year is a pair of sewing machine covers I made for my vintage sewing machines. I used all the decorative stitches & cams on my Singers to decorate the pockets in thread colors to match the major colors from the print on a coordinating solid fabric for a fun look. I also made a pair of gauchos in a denim that I particularly love to wear. Oh, btw, you can also get a good topstitching look by using the triple stitch on your sewing machine. You have to practice, since the stitch goes both backward and forward, but it makes a nice strong topstitching line and is gorgeous when using a rayon embroidery thread.
Thank you for all you do for all of us! My most fun project has been the Blackbird fabric Baby Bestie bag - made about 5 of them as gifts! I'm going to zip over to you website and grab the Magic Pants pattern right now! PS- I bought the yummy cotton you brought in for undies - used you undies pattern, perfect pairing....so comfy ❤
Making adjustable waists are so practical but they need to be easy to do up and undo . The other idea is control tummy panels for mum tums using some type of control net like power mesh that they us in swim suits.
My favorite make was the Liesl and Co, Easton Cowl top. It fit so well, and upscales my outfit. ❤❤❤ Next year will be The Year of Pants. I am including your pattern in the collection of pants patterns.
I value you too!! my favorite make this year was a sweatshirt i made for my daughter by TATB. It was so quick and easy to sew! I am also curious about making my own undergarments this year so was happy to hear about your bra-making journey.
Not everyone is wild about underwear making but I think it’s an absolute luxury to have consist well-fitting panties in quality materials! I make them a lot for friends too. And the bra making has been truly rewarding once I got over my intimidation. They’re actually really fun to make (but need to be more precise) and ppl sell kits so that helps with understanding material needs. Thanks for watching and happy holidays!
Congrats, Olivia! You have been selected to receive a free pattern from my site! Send me an email with which pattern you would like (annftilley@gmail.com) and if you want a paper pattern send me an address. Thanks for your support!
Aw yay! That’s awesome to hear! Haven’t gotten a chance to see many ppl make that dress yet so so happy to hear you like yours!! I wear mine all the time too!
hi! this year i bought your magic pants pattern, and have made myself two pairs with them! one was a pair of cotton shorts, just to test the fit, and the other i made out of a heavyweight linen, so that i could wear them hiking in the summer for bug protection, but still stay cool, and so they'd fit me no matter what my body does for a while. everyone who's seen them has thought they were really cool, and so i'm making my mother a pair for christmas! i'm glad i saw this video, it's really interesting to see how you work through these ideas and bring them to fruition. i wanna say, i think the idea about making a three-variety-guide on how to make any pair of pants adjustable is a GREAT idea. i love making my own pants from scratch because it gives me a lot of control over the garment, but that's really intimidating for most people! i know a handful of people who would be WAY more comfortable just taking a pre-existing favorite pair of pants that they want to be able to fit them better, and make those pants adjustable. I really love the star pants with the stretch-gusset and stretch-band idea especially. The little gap between the gusset and the front-band where it tucks into the back band is really visually interesting to me, and while it looks really good being a small and subtle detail, part of me wants to eperiment with that, and see if it can't be like, a really loud aesthetic feature 🤔!!! anyway. very exciting. thank you for sharing your thoughts and your skills and your patterns!
So glad I found you! I love the constant tinkering with the adjustable waist band, that's always on my mind as well. Also, I'm loving the categories! ...oh yeah,😆also...I may have to copy that black and white shirt you drafted...I melted into a puddle as soon as I saw it...oh the sweater too lol...ok I'll stop now...
Love your videos. There is always something inspiring when you share your process. I’d love to hear more about adjustable waistbands as I have current plans to make linen Lander Pants and I’m trying to figure out how to make them more comfortable. You may find some inspiration from children’s pants for adjustable waistbands.
Your cat is so adorable! Thanks for the sale. I'm going to check out your site now to see if I can pick up some underwear patterns. I've never tried to make my own underwear before but I think it's time.
The loud sound effect at 1:49 hurt my ears and made me sad. But otherwise, cool and inspiring video. Love the checkerboard top, and your kitten is adorable!
just discovered you today and really liked your content. My favorite make this year was my indie pattern Harem pants, just what i wanted for a comfortable pair of woven pants for around the house and maybe for setting up at shows.
I've been subscribed to your Chanel for quite a while, but I'm sorry to say that I've apparently forgotten. I don't get half the notifications RUclips should be sending me. But I'm happy to have stumbled across you again. I really enjoyed seeing everything you have made and what you thought of them.
I do have your magic pants pattern but haven't gotten to make it yet. I'm trying to learn more about pants making and adjustable pants making next year. Yes, I would be interested in a book of waistband hacks. Fav make of the year: Muna and Broad waikerie blouse made more into a jacket w brown striped corduroy. I wear it all the time! I'm going to run over to your website now.
I have just came across your channel and subscribed ❤ looked on your website… LOVE the Magic Pants pattern!! look forward to binge watching your videos 😘
Hi, I’m new to your channel. Enjoyed your approach of making something just for fun. Adjustable waistband options are great idea. I’m working on a fall wool jacket. I’m taking my time to get the fit just right.
Thanks for sharing, i like seeing the wins and the fails :) my fave makes were ella harps work dress, the solstice dress and top by folkstead and your magic pants :)
My favourite are the black jeans. Despite the drawbacks they still look fun! Not sure if you have seen the adjustable trousers by Cashmerette. Waiting on my package from Blackbird. It is wool coating to try the CC Phoebe coat. Can't wait for it to arrive. Lucky you! Woohoo!
Getting a Blackbird package in the mail is all I wanted for Xmas 😂 I started the Meriam trouser but lost steam after the first fitting when they weren’t looking right. Still want to circle back to them tho! Seems like a really clever design.
I finished my Cocquelicot skirt at the beginning of this year and it's been one of my most-worn items, despite heaving some issues (my fault). Been trying to think of a way to make adjustable pants with a similar mechanism - and along come your Magic Pants 😄 Will definitely look into them
Thanks for sharing, glad perfection isn’t keeping you from wearing your makes! It certainly doesn’t hold me back. I feel like each and every new garment I make is an experiment in someway and I’m always learning!
UGH yes, I started sewing clothing this year and I have to keep remaking the same pattern over and over again. It feels so wasteful. I am using thrifted fabric right now but, I might end up trying muslin. I just hate the waste and not being able to enjoy wearing my project. Getting over that hump is REAL. Thanks for sharing
I use a MX powder dye from Dharma Trading Co. For this color I mixed Emerald Green and Brilliant Blue and was going to be happy with any shade between those two colors! I'm always happier if I'm not trying to be exact with dying and then I don't have to be so scientific with it.
I have the same problems with knitting sweaters! I blast through the body and then it takes me a year to do the arms, especially if their is a pattern, because I have to modify it because my arms don't get smaller until after my elbow. Also it would be great if you would add your website address to your youtube About page. I know it's easy to find, but thoughts. :)
Thanks for the advice on the website, will work on that now! And I’m happy to report I finally frogged and restarted the sleeve yesterday although my kitten Tina was a rascal messing with my yarn the whole time 😂
ruclips.net/video/AHq3zlAN3SE/видео.html&lc=UgzmZkaFqG4fTsR2Jl54AaABAg&si=O4U-lR7eKWi657JO lol…I commented on your year of makes but somehow did it on the wrong year 😮 ANYWAY, JUST FOUND YOUR CHANNEL, SUBSCRIBED…LOVE THE IDEA OF ATTCHING D RINGS! willl check out your website.
Yes please to a waistband hack book, but also I just want the Ann Tilley garment making hacks encyclopedia!!!!
Haha I would love to see what that looks like too! That’s for watching and happy holidays!
Big yes to the idea of how to adapt the waistband of any pants!!
Thanks for the input!
OMG I wish you could do these videos more regularly, you are so inspiring
Haha that’s great to hear! I would love to make more videos too but it’s hard to find the time. You should see how many dishes are in my sink atm due to working on this video lolol happy holidays!
@AnnTilleyHandmade I understand 😁
Yes please to the waistband booklet! That would be amazing!
Yes to the waistband band hacks, I struggle with the waistband on everything, but without it I look frumpy and bigger than I actually am. Merry Christmas and a happy new year. ❤

Great 'end of the sewing year', Ann. Your kitten looked so cozy, snuggled up with the rain coming down outside😊
I liked your waistband adjustment ideas. My favorite item I made this past year was jeans with triple white topstitching done on the coverstitch machine as an experiment. I liked them so much I also made a denim jacket with matching triple topstitching! let's keep sewing and experimenting !!!

I’d love to see a booklet with all your adjustable waistband designs 🙏. I work as an upholsterer so I’m constantly bending, stretching and squatting, your waistband ideas would definitely improve my handmade workwear.
Exactly! We have a wood stove and chopping wood involves lites of bending over and it can be miserable in tight pants!
Yes, I love idea of the adjustable waistline idea for any pai of pants.
This was a wonderful video! I had a lot of fun making a quilted scarf this year. I’m pretty proud of it!
I like that adaptable waistband idea! Yes, make a little booklet or something. Thank you and Happy New Year!
Thanks for the feedback. Sounds like ppl are really liking the waistband booklet idea. Thanks for watching and happy new year!

The waistband instructions Idea Sounds lovely❤
Ich made a Splitside skirt this year i love wearing cause it fits me No Matter what Part of the month
My favourite make of the year were my first period panties! Woohoo! I made the Sophie Hines perfect panties. I'd been hesitant to make any because of the different fabrics needed for the period panties part so I ended up buying a kit so I could have my hand held. Love them!
I made them too from one of her kits! Felt the same way about being unsure about all the materials. Brava!

This is the first time I have seen your video, really enjoyed it. I'm really into zero waste patterns at the moment. Happy new year 🎉
Yay glad you’re here! I’ve always been so in awe of zero waste design- it isn’t easy!
I’m looking forward to making a chore jacket for my husband, I’m very inspired by your ideas!!
Omg yes please to the adjustable waistband booklet!!
This is the first video of yours that I've watched and I really enjoyed it! My favourite make of the year is a Donny shirt in a flowy fabric with artichokes and chard on it, like a luxe gardening shirt.
Glad you found me! That shirt sounds great. My last clothing company I ran we had a kale and radish shirt that was one of my faves!
Loved your video. Appreciate the honesty on what worked and what didn’t work.
Glad to hear it and thanks for watching!
Thank you for sharing your 2024 makes Ann! I would definitely be interested in purchasing an adjustable/flexible waistband add on pattern that could be used for any pant pattern or waistband. That is a great idea and gives flexibility to tackle the rigidity of pant sizes xx
I learned how to knit! I’m finishing a project my mother started, when she passed away I inherited a partially knitted sweater.
Exciting video! I love your creativity and enthusiasm! Thank you for inspiring me to continue to push myself to make really unique garments. Love it!!!
That makes me so happy to hear! I was very shy growing up and never wore the clothes I wanted to wear so I’m making up for lost time now!!
Oh yay! Go for it!!! I love to see people wearing garments that are out of the ordinary. It never fails to make me smile!
I've just found your channel and you have inspired me to want to make my own clothes... You are inspirational person thank you.....
I am returning to making garments for myself after a 30 year hiatus. In more recent years I have sewed a few items for my grandchildren and knitted even more for them and my family. Glad you’re head and glad you’re rediscovering sewing!
So inspiring! Now off to the sewing machine!
Loved this video format! ❤
Thanks for the discount! I ordered 2 patterns including the Magic Pants which look like a game changer (as they say). I have really been wanting to make bras. I am hard to fit. Way too much to cover. I love how you repurpose. Merry Sewing!
Fabulously creative Ann!
I feel you! I also am not sure if I know what a well-fitting bra looks like on me 😂 so that’s been a learning curve.
I really enjoy watching your videos you're so creative. It's so encouraging to see the undergarments you've made. I'm on a mission to have a all me-made wardrobe.
You can do it!! The me-made bras have been truly rewarding. And even if they’re not perfect fits for a while… have I ever worn a perfect bra??
This was very inspiring to see how you adapt and experiment with patterns! My favorite make this year was a pair of black and white plaid pants (you would like the color scheme!).❤
Haha those pants sounds amazing!! Thanks for watching 🥰
Yes! The booklet of methods to make any pant pattern adjustable is such a good idea. I would buy it and use it 1000%
I love my magic pants so much and I've been thinking about how to get that adjustability into different pants patterns.
Magic pants booty fit for the win! 🙌🏻 thanks for your feedback!
Babe!!! You are so freaking inspiring and cool. Truly hope to get to make with you again soon. (P.S. it was your round up video from the end of last year that finally got me to make my own!)
Yay! Great to hear from you!
I love your ideas of adjustable pant waistbands, especially the magic pants.
I'm amazed. Thanks for sharing ❤
Fabulous video! Thanks for sharing!
Great video! Love your experimental makes. ❤
Thank you! Didn’t realize how wacky my clothes got this year until I undertook drawing all them 😂😂
Just found you RUclips site. I really enjoyed this video. It’s very inspiring even though I will never be that productive. 😀
I have had the magic pants on my to see list for a while, thanks for the inspiration to actually do it
Hope you get a chance to dive in! I wore my 2 pairs a lot this year and I put my wool leggings under them this time of year and they still fit!
I love the Throwback dress Ann! I wear it all the time.
You def sound like you have a creative design mind! I hope your mom enjoys her pants, what a gift to give!
Omg please copy that shirt! It was really not that hard as long as I stayed organized. Do it!!
Your bras came out great! I plan to try and make some in 2025!
Love your videos. There is always something inspiring when you share your process. I’d love to hear more about adjustable waistbands as I have current plans to make linen Lander Pants and I’m trying to figure out how to make them more comfortable. You may find some inspiration from children’s pants for adjustable waistbands.
Good to hear. I srsly love my Lander pants with the adj waist. I can wear them all day in comfort! Glad you enjoyed the video 🥰
Awesome, welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video! I used to make harem pants all the time at my old production job. They’re so fun!
Love it! I have some red stretch corduroy that I want to use so bad and just can’t figure out what to make with it… one day!
I’m so here for the adjustable waistband ideas.
Glad to hear thanks for the feedback!
I have just came across your channel and subscribed ❤ looked on your website… LOVE the Magic Pants pattern!! look forward to binge watching your videos 😘
Aww yay! Glad you found me. Hoping to create some fun new content in the new year. Happy new years!
Hi, I’m new to your channel. Enjoyed your approach of making something just for fun. Adjustable waistband options are great idea. I’m working on a fall wool jacket. I’m taking my time to get the fit just right.
Awesome! Thanks for watching and happy new year!
Thanks for sharing, i like seeing the wins and the fails :) my fave makes were ella harps work dress, the solstice dress and top by folkstead and your magic pants :)
Fun!! I have not heard of Ella Harp… looking at here site now. Glad to made some things that brought you JOY
Beautiful drawings!
Such a great video, love your style. I made the magic pants and love them, but they are too big. I will try again. Thank you for your inspiration.
Thanks for watching! Hope you get a chance to try them again!
Love your creativity!
Thank you!
I would like to see a booklet about the adjustable waist not only is that good for pants but for skirts. please and thank you
Good idea to include skirts too! Thanks for the input
I've made two magic pants this year. I don't quite have the fit right yet, but they're worlds better than anything I could buy rtw.
I feel you! And then it’s like…do you keep the practice ones? Do you throw them out?? Cram them in a corner it is!
Just found you, and I'm so happy I did!!!
Yay glad you’re here! I don’t post a ton of videos but I love to make them and put way too much time into them lol
would like to see that adjustable waistband set
I have no experience with sewing but like you I would very much like to make my own clothes. I guess I have to start somewhere.. undies!!
My Sagebrush tops are my favorites.
Fun! I didn’t know this one so I just looked it up. Very cute!
Greetings from SouthAfrica 🤍
Magic pants 💫
👋🏻👋🏻
i really like the shape of the second ajustable pant. is there a pattern ? or one similar ?
That’s a self-drafted pant that’s a contender for a new pattern so if it peaks your interest then that’s good feedback for me!
Best make: made my 3 little nieces matching Buffalo Bills dresses for Christmas!
So fun! I’m hoping to do a kids version of the throwback dress and my nieces to help me test fit!
So creative.
What kind of dye did you use for your teal dress?
Thanks.
I use a MX powder dye from Dharma Trading Co. For this color I mixed Emerald Green and Brilliant Blue and was going to be happy with any shade between those two colors! I'm always happier if I'm not trying to be exact with dying and then I don't have to be so scientific with it.
@AnnTilleyHandmade Thanks.
@AnnTilleyHandmade Do you have a video on screen printing?
@@lindamninteriors226yes! I’m my Replicating a Beloved Vintage dress I go into my detail about how I screen print
Nice fabrics
I have the same problems with knitting sweaters! I blast through the body and then it takes me a year to do the arms, especially if their is a pattern, because I have to modify it because my arms don't get smaller until after my elbow. Also it would be great if you would add your website address to your youtube About page. I know it's easy to find, but thoughts. :)
Thanks for the advice on the website, will work on that now! And I’m happy to report I finally frogged and restarted the sleeve yesterday although my kitten Tina was a rascal messing with my yarn the whole time 😂
Nice video i'd like to enter to win a pattern (digital as i come from Europe !)
Ok you’re in! Thanks for watching!
