- We finish up our $1,500 2010 Land Rover LR4 HSE project by installing the skid plate, replacing the air filters, cabin filters and grille fasteners. We calibrate the air suspension after all that. Then we polish the paint and headlights and give it a coat of wax.
I know you covered the diagnostic tool in the previous video. It seems to have the option to reprogram keys, however people have not been able to do so with it. I wonder if you had used it yourself. I need to buy one for my LR3, so I am going back and forth between Otofix, Gap or this one. Any recommendations. I enjoy your videos. Keep up the great work.
I'll order a key fob for our 2011 and I'll do a video of programming it as soon as it arrives. If price isn't an option, I've heard nothing but good things about the Gap tool. Not familiar with the other one you listed. I'll get that video up as soon as I get the key in. Thanks for watching and the comment!
So we just tried programming a key fob for our 2011 LR4 smart key and it won't do it. We had to use our XTool. It will however program a key for our 2005 LR3 4.4.
So the other users were correct. I might shoot an email to the manufacturer and see what they say. Thank you so much for the follow up. Keep up the great work.

Why was it only $1500.00? Lot of vehicle for that? Audio not great which makes it a little hard to watch. I have a 2012. What are the plans for it? Cheers from Texas.
So it appears to have been sold to different used car dealers over a 4 month period and they couldn’t figure out what was wrong with it. The dealer we purchased it from said none of his mechanics could figure it out and they needed it gone. Sorry for the audio, we’ve ordered a mic to help deal with that. Thanks for watching and the comment!
@@mountainviewsgarage You probably covered it in the video but what did you determine was wrong with it?
It was in the previous video. The transmission control module was bad.
