It would be sad to see Virtue leave G2, probably the most consistent player on the team last year. Him and Doki have been carrying the team. I kinda like all the players but it's definitely not working together, strategic-wise they don't look that bad but they lack of cohesiveness. Don't know if it's a coach problem, Alemao not being able to IGL correctly... they probably know better what are the issues so let's hope changes are for the better.
Benja going to ssg makes them immediate invitational contenders. Iconic isn’t the answer. Benja to me has better gun skill than both iconic and hotancold, and Forrest can easily go back to IGL. This fits SSG play style the trio of J90, Ashn, and Benja would be lethal. I hope it happens.
idk about him but i think with ssg’s playstyle you need to be a really good aimer and play aggressive like benja does/is. ssg play crazy and tend to put themselves in spots where it’s just them head to head against their opponents raw gun skill and will and i think benja fits that more than iconic especially with how he’s been playing.
I’m a big virtue fan, top 3 favorite players, it would suck to see him leave but as a G2 fan I want some big change. I think a new coach could help, as G2 worked when they had somone on their ass about shit, Fabian, and I’d like to see another vocal coach who can call G2 players out in a constructive manner
I feel like it would be awesome if he were to join bliss for a while before he retires, I feel like his experience could be the final push to get bliss to reach that next level of main stage
Also Benja is somone who i definitely see leaving. As nitpicky as it may seem, when he had an interview in EU league, Fabian was emotional and asked what is happening and why. Benja response was flat, emotionless, dull and felt like he didn’t care about what had been happening to G2 and that he wasn’t gonna change anything in the future.
Poor iconic man like you said as soon as he joined m80 all his skill just left him. He was also horrible at Manchester. I'm pretty sure he went 9 and 30 in a bo3 against liquid that sent ssg home. I hope another team will give him 1 final chance and he can shake off this slump.

As a huge fan of Kanto I think he is still capable of playing at a high level his stage with ITB was honestly good cause he kinda carried that team I’m not gonna judge him fully off of this stage with Wylde cause that entire team was horrid but with how competitive siege is now, unless he goes to a different region I do see a chance of him just not getting picked up and choosing to retire
Kanto requires too much investment as a single player and the impact a single player can have is no longer as high. As such I just don't think he works in current siege.
For anyone interested, secret have seemingly signed Virtue to replace Miracle which makes them look like an absolute monster of a roster on paper. Feel like they have a lot of potential. Edit: They literally officially announced it 5 minutes ago
@@highgroundatz Yeah its a nice pickup for sure. Having him on that roster could just be the thing that lets them go deeper than they did at Manchester (which was till impressive tbf) I thing both Secret and SSG both look better on paper than G2 which I cant help but find funny.

As a G2 fan I like these changes. Virtue was solid for them for however long but I think retirement is the move for him. Benja is always gonna be good but he just needed to leave G2. Would’ve liked to see ramalho gone too but I like al4mao/doki/unno still together. And iconic needed to be dropped so bad glad they did that too

I've kind of been a Kanto doubter for a while now, but I'm not totally writing him off yet.
Kanto requires too much investment as a single player and the impact a single player can have is no longer as high. As such I just don't think he works in current siege.
