Dude the Sweet Business description of “you’re a titan main… that’s literally it”. Was absolute spot on. It was the first exotic I got in Destiny 2 back on day 1 and I’ve now got like 3.5 million kills with it. Lol
Fighting Lion and Whisper are my personal favorites. Fighting Lion is my highest kill weapon across every archetype, including autos. I just started using Whisper again because I saw the catalyst was available for unlock and then fell in love with it and refuse to take it off unless I want to use Fighting Lion.
While I definitely main Whitherhoard whenever the seasonal artifact permits, I have the most fun running Fighting Lion alongside Ignition Code and Typhon. That's right; I am a true believer in the TRIPLE GL META.
3:13 That was a horrific missed opportunity. The graviton lance stereotype is "Purple sparklies, purple sparklies everywhere." Reason being - when paired with nazarec's sin it gives near constant void ability spamming, grenades, novas and near 100% up time on our little void buddies granted by well.
For me, it’s Vex Mythoclast. I’ve always loved 450 auto rifles (started playing season of the chosen, and my first was a elemental capacitor slidshot seventh seraph carbine that I still have to this day), and As a 390, Vex feels amazing to me. Hits hard, it’s accurate, versatile in range given its optic and linear fusion mode, and the audio work scratches an itch somewhere in my brain. I also did not in fact put in a cheat code to get it, and instead chased that gun for roughly a year. So uh. Yeah. There’s that too
My favorites are Trinity Ghoul and No Time to Explain. I actually did play the entirety of D1 lmao. Also lightning rod is crazy in general, but especially if you mostly play solo
Xenophage is the exotic I always keep coming back to, great for killing champions quickly, no damage falloff and respectable boss DPS. Plus I had a really fun time with my friend getting it and I just live the feel/sound of firing it. P.S. Video is accurate haha.
Hard Light: A crutch for all three shield types on Legendary Witch Queen. Otherwise ttk is counted in minutes. Forerunner: For when you rely on racking up precision hits, but even the dps of Ace of Spades with Lucky Pants just isn’t cutting it anymore. Because even with Special ammo, ttk is counted in minutes. Tractor Cannon: For Nightfalls with a lot of ledges to knock annoying Overshield Champions back into the pits of hell where they came from. Because once again, ttk is counted in minutes.
That's brutal. You insulted weapons lol. I don't like hard light very much. Dmg has to be from ricochet or there's none at all and it's not like you have that time or ability. Still, there's many better weapons
@@meyesepiclychill9879 On the contrary, I'm insulting the ttk of higher difficulties. Hard Light is my go-to for completing Lost Sector challenges due to its ability to combat all shield types and work wonders in Lost Sector close quarters (Often powerful enemies will stand their ground, allowing for chipping away at them from behind cover). Forerunner is my favorite kinetic weapon, I only wish exotic revolvers could have some redeeming qualities compared to it. It has more range, more ads zoom, more damage on precision hits than even Ace of Spades with Momento Mori active, and fires at a blazing 240rpm. I want revolvers to be better to justify using them more. Recently a good justification is because the new Lightfall mods don't drop Special Ammo as consistently as the previous season You either have a ton of it everywhere or not a single one for a large portion of missions.
@@AnonEMus-cp2mn I second hard light/borealis/dead messenger for the same reason. However with the removal of match game I'm hoping this will be much better when I finally start messing with legendary lost sectors.
While izanagi’s burden isn’t necessarily my favorite, it is one I use a lot right now and the description was scarily accurate. This is as someone who uses izzy, ikelos sr, and hezen in a dragon’s shadow rotation for max dps first round who then switches to young spine for the rest. That said. Heartshadow is my favorite and it took a great many runs to get my favorite sword in the game.
Despite being over a year late to this video and having more or less stopped playing Destiny, the Chaperones description was literally me as I used it for years as a bubble titan main before it even came into the meta and continued to use it even after the nerfs, you could also probably guess how exited I was when no backup plans came back
Whisper of the Worm is my love. I've done thousands of runs in that mission just enjoying and exploring. The gun itself is gorgeous, all the ornaments. It sounds amazing and feels great. Just wish it got the better version of Mulligan or an enhanced mulligan
Mine is and always will be Outbreak. Nobody I know can argue it’s both useful for ads and bosses. It’s sick as hell to look at and hear and it was my favourite exotic quest from d1 as I did it with no help from RUclips and loved every moment of it!
Fr outbreak is such a slept on weapon, it really is the all rounder workhorse weapon, good boss dps, awesome ad clear, and it shows just how hard of a worker it is when you’re under light or in legendary/high end difficulty activities
Stranger’s rifle was my favorite D1 gun, then I got No Time to Explain and Outbreak and always bounced back and forth between them. I was so happy when my babies came back in D2 and mostly run one or the other
I'm so torn between Trinity Ghoul, Osteo Striga and Le Monarque. I'll always love Trinity Ghoul because some random guy saved my life with it when I was a new player, and I was suitably awed by the electric explosions-- great for ad clear, but not super strong against bosses. Le Monarque is my go-to for Gambit, unless I feel like running Lament instead. I enjoy its accuracy and it has great dps potential, but only in a situation where you can focus. Osteo Striga, with the catalyst, has been carrying me through Lightfall. I've come to appreciate its versatility with both ad clearing and boss damage, plus the sound it makes when it hits stuff really tickles my brain in a good way. In summary-- Trinity Ghoul takes #1 in my heart, Striga comes in second for sheer usefulness, leaving Le Monarque at a solid third for its fun factor, invader-deletion capabilities, and nice situational damage.
6:52: Here’s a better one for you: You liked the Red Death from Destiny 1 and either wish it was a pulse rifle again, or you’re more biased towards the Crimson as a hand cannon main
0:19 the double primary slander 😭😭😭 Double Primary works hella in PVP when you don’t have the Reflexes to Shotgun the ass that swung round the corner with a Quicksilver Storm and when you aren’t petty enough to learn the zero brain-celled “slide and pull”
I use Gjallarhorn because I didn't have it in D1. I couldn't play D1 so now that I have D2, I simply refuse to take it off. I genuinely love Gjallarhorn
I like to main Crimson on my titan. The heal on kill mechanic compliments the tankyness of the class well, meaning i can soak up just that much more damage that would have otherwise killed me. also the instant reload on precision kill allows me to just keep popping them heads for as long as i want (or untill i miss lol) pair that with a slug shotgun for close range DPS and the chain of command LMG for targets that are out of reach for crimson and i got a pretty nice setup
I'm a cold heart main and I love that it's arc. I use the hunter "punch the shit out of everything" build and I use the cold-heart as my primary because of how much ammo you get with mods.
When season of arrivals dropped I started using this exotic because I thought it was neat and now 10k kills later I can say it has never left my warlock's inventory
Crimson: you like the surprising power and range it has for a primary weapon and hate the massive recoil on regular handcannons. You also love not dying since it give you health on kills (its very helpful in solo stuff). And it reloads on precision kills, which is helpful. I've used Crimson almost exclusively since the first faction rally because I found out its extremely helpful for keeping you alive. I love Crimson very, very much (while hating all other handcannons cuz the recoil is just stupid, also I do love pulse rifles). I only switch off Crimson when I absolutely have to and I have over 50,000 kills with just the copy on my main (I've had more if I wasn't so addicted to glaives while using Karnsteins, which is my absolute favorite armor exotic hands down no questions asked since I'm a warlock main for life with a punching problem like a titan). I know I'm a cryptid here, but seriously, Crimson is so good and versatile. I love it so much.
Crimson was my HC of choice for a long time, seriously under-appreciated weapon in my opinion and while it's not my primary anymore it is one I always have in my inventory to use.
@@Kinvarus1 Yeah! It's not the absolute best around, but it's a solid weapon to use in basically any activity. You're not going to do crazy stuff with it, but at least it won't let you down. Also, it's not likely that Bungie will nerf it since it's not an exotic that can be used and abused, so that's nice too. I always love when I'm in a random matchmade activity and hear the very distinct sound of another teammate also using Crimson. Like hell yeah, Crimson budies! Lol. I think what I also really love about it is that it can be used well up close and decently well far away. It won't snipe anyone, but if you have good control and know how to use Crimson, it can still wittle away at enemies at a decent range if needed. Especially after the masterwork perk. It's a pretty basic gun but so damn reliable that I almost never put it down unless I'm toying with a new weapon or have to for raids or dungeons. And using it with karnsteins has saved my ass time and time again, especially for solo stuff (and now that I have my glaive, since Karnsteins make glaives SO addicting and useful now that they proc its perk).
I've been maining Forerunner this season. Between shield piercing sidearms and volatile rounds a proccing for everyone, the forerunner, void surros sidearm, and Tricksleeves has proven very spicy this season.
Cerberus+1 will always have a spot in my heart for getting me through the breakneck grind also still sad that my favorite weapon has been forever sunset
back when I played d2 ace of spades was just perfection but it's not a half decent game worth playing anymore since it's just 1 minute of free activities behind countless pay walls and despite all the income they make horrible updates and just remove the good content

You can tell that this dude doesn't ever touch PVP quite literally ever.
I just started using Whisper again because I saw the catalyst was available for unlock and then fell in love with it and refuse to take it off unless I want to use Fighting Lion.
you must be happy with the fighting lion buff this season then :D
Forerunner is my main weapon because it's the only sniper in the game that doesn't feel like shit
While I definitely main Whitherhoard whenever the seasonal artifact permits, I have the most fun running Fighting Lion alongside Ignition Code and Typhon. That's right; I am a true believer in the TRIPLE GL META.
I join you with this true meta that few others embrace.
Fighting Lion is good if you know what mods to apply in your build.
So uh. Yeah. There’s that too
That's my crucible gun and it took me like 7 years to get it haha
As a D1 vet with a Vex Mythoclast fetish . . . I approve
Fighting lion is insane for gm nightfall my personal fav
My favorites are Trinity Ghoul and No Time to Explain. I actually did play the entirety of D1 lmao. Also lightning rod is crazy in general, but especially if you mostly play solo
Xenophage is the exotic I always keep coming back to, great for killing champions quickly, no damage falloff and respectable boss DPS. Plus I had a really fun time with my friend getting it and I just live the feel/sound of firing it. P.S. Video is accurate haha.
Same it’s funny how accurate it is
When half of these use the same answer as the previous weapon.
Ryan Reynolds: “Well that’s just lazy writing.”
That two-tailed fox aged well
While izanagi’s burden isn’t necessarily my favorite, it is one I use a lot right now and the description was scarily accurate.
This is as someone who uses izzy, ikelos sr, and hezen in a dragon’s shadow rotation for max dps first round who then switches to young spine for the rest.
That said. Heartshadow is my favorite and it took a great many runs to get my favorite sword in the game.
Despite being over a year late to this video and having more or less stopped playing Destiny, the Chaperones description was literally me as I used it for years as a bubble titan main before it even came into the meta and continued to use it even after the nerfs, you could also probably guess how exited I was when no backup plans came back
fighting lion is good for popping shields and clearing adds
Monte Carlo: You're a Titan using an insurmountable skull fort and you get your super back in 5 seconds after using it.
...wow that Sunshot one is hella accurate to me x'D
Same to me but instead I use an arc hunter
@@iLIKESNIPERS47 I like explosions c:
@@TheHazyTimewalker same
As a two tailed fox user I cannot take this offense there is a clear reason on why we would use this weapon KIT-SU-NEE
My most used Exotic on my Hunter is the Ace Of Spades, (R.I.P Cayde.) My Warlock is currently rocking Sunshot and my Titan is rocking Trinity Ghoul.
Graviton Lance. You ever just go void warlock, kill that one weak enemy, and watch the pretty purple chain reaction explosions? So good.
Crimson: You’re still holding onto Red Death from D1 and this is the closet you can get
I feel attacked. Fighting Lion is a good boy. I stopped using it in pvp, since Bunghole ruined the reload speed, but doing well with ~45,000 kills.
Stranger’s rifle was my favorite D1 gun, then I got No Time to Explain and Outbreak and always bounced back and forth between them. I was so happy when my babies came back in D2 and mostly run one or the other
Black Talon: You probably pair this with Strongholds and run a sword-only build.
Striga gang :)
Sunshot: the chain grenade explosions from Halo except now a gun. Brilliant.
6:52: Here’s a better one for you: You liked the Red Death from Destiny 1 and either wish it was a pulse rifle again, or you’re more biased towards the Crimson as a hand cannon main
0:19 the double primary slander
😭😭😭
Double Primary works hella in PVP when you don’t have the Reflexes to Shotgun the ass that swung round the corner with a Quicksilver Storm and when you aren’t petty enough to learn the zero brain-celled “slide and pull”
I use Gjallarhorn because I didn't have it in D1. I couldn't play D1 so now that I have D2, I simply refuse to take it off. I genuinely love Gjallarhorn
I USE TWO TAILED FOX AND CERBERUS+1 AND IM PROUD
I like to main Crimson on my titan. The heal on kill mechanic compliments the tankyness of the class well, meaning i can soak up just that much more damage that would have otherwise killed me. also the instant reload on precision kill allows me to just keep popping them heads for as long as i want (or untill i miss lol) pair that with a slug shotgun for close range DPS and the chain of command LMG for targets that are out of reach for crimson and i got a pretty nice setup
Polaris is just satisfying. The sound design, the visuals, it just feels good to use. I just wish it would receive a buff to help it out.
Infinite mag go brr
"Sweet Business: you're a titan main, that's all that can be said."
Me: you're God damn right
As a Sunshot main, I do love explosions. Was using Thorn + Necrotic Grips, but this just does that better (read: with more explosions).
Crimson: You miss Red Death, but this is as close are you are gonna get to having it again...
Izanigi: Becuase if you make me line up a sniper shot to a crit, I don't want to need a followup shot.
You messed one of them up.
Jotunn: You're a psychopath.
I feel personally attacked by the two tailed part of the video lol
Fast forward 8-9 months later and two tailed fox is now one the highest damaging rockets with its catalyst
Crimson: you loved Red Death back in D1 and this is the best youre ever gonna get
The lumina and travelers chosen ones were spot on
Bro all these are super on point and hilarious
Legend of acrius - You use it to honor its glory days when running low man crown of sorrow to absolutly melt the final boss
Love what you said about Sunshot. So true, so true.
Really wish people would stop talking about my SMG too.
I've been maining Forerunner this season. Between shield piercing sidearms and volatile rounds a proccing for everyone, the forerunner, void surros sidearm, and Tricksleeves has proven very spicy this season.
8 months later and I'm one of the few people who rarely lets go of Le Monarque while practically living in pvp lol.
Yep. Perfectly described me with Lament. I want swords back in the meta
Cerberus+1 will always have a spot in my heart for getting me through the breakneck grind also still sad that my favorite weapon has been forever sunset
Oh my god… the mida Multi tool bit is so accurate! I loved that gun in D1!
Risk runner: you like to throw electronic grenades at yourself
Ager Scepter is my most used. It just became so useful so frequently that it stays in my inventory always.
lmao i didnt expect the riskrunner one to be so accurate
1:23 guilty as charged good sir n doing Cayde proud still today.
back when I played d2 ace of spades was just perfection but it's not a half decent game worth playing anymore since it's just 1 minute of free activities behind countless pay walls and despite all the income they make horrible updates and just remove the good content
As a Sweet Business user, I can confirm that I'm a Titan main and with Actium War Rig this has become my favorite weapon ever.
Crimson: You like huckleberry but don't like Ride The Bull
