I have a question. Why is it, I'm on diabetic medicine, that my Dr has me do a blood test, they see that my sugar number is great. She says, " your sugar Reading is great, I'm going to take you off such and such medicine ". Now my sugar Reading first thing as I awake is around 130-150. And now I get sugar numbers in 200-320, throughout the day where I didn't before. I also get a sweet taste in my mouth and I cannot stand it. She took me off 2 of my medications and put me on ozempic. I don't eat on a regular basis. I might eat once a day and my sugar goes well over 200 and I feel sick the rest of the day and I don't eat the rest of the day. My question is, is the doctor correct telling me, " oh its OK, your sugar will fluctuate throughout the day, even over 300." Or should I find another doctor?

L-Lysine is regarded as a non essential amino acid. In the late 1980s, before the Internet and bad info like zero fat but sugar ok some promoted L-Lysine for skin ailments. Super cheap. I suffered from ingrown hairs and skin cysts. L-Lysine helped minimize this. No bad side effects. Fast forward to 2021 when I was suffering w bouts of SVT, irregular racing heart beat. Was battling. Total diet change and zero bread. Nearly no more ingrown hair nor skin cysts and no L-Lysine. I believe that gluten was the blame.
Wow, this video is a game-changer! I had no idea about these 7 micronutrients and how powerful they can be in managing blood sugar levels. It's so easy to overlook the small details when it comes to diabetes care, but this information really opened my eyes. I'm definitely going to be more mindful of incorporating these nutrients into my diet. Thanks for sharing this valuable knowledge - it's a must-watch for anyone with diabetes!
Hi Dr, After the insulin bring the glucose from blood into the cells through the receptors ( if we are not insulin resistant), and then the insulin goes down , where does the insulin go? If we have too much glucose in the blood and the cells do not open to receive glucose from insulin, then insulin will stuff glucose in the liver. If the liver get stuffed, the liver will export the extra glucose ( csrbs) to other organs. Then, where does all that abundant insulin go? I know that carbs, sugar, glucose turn into fat in the liver and organs. But i wonder what will happen to the insulin when it is abundant in the nlood ( insulin resistant), or when it lowers after it brings sugar into the cells. Where does indulin go? Thank you Dr.
I am pre-diabetic and in an effort to keep my A1c at 5.7 , I went on a low carb diet. The result is that i have lost too much weight and it shows. I need to gain but am having no luck. My stomach won't let me overeat and I'm not sure what to do.
Focus on nutrient-dense, calorie-rich foods like nuts, seeds, avocados, and healthy oils. Incorporate protein shakes or smoothies with nut butter, Greek yogurt, and low-glycemic fruits. Eat smaller, frequent meals and consult a dietitian for a tailored plan.
Yes, Celtic salt contains over 80 trace minerals, including magnesium, potassium, and calcium. However, the amounts are small, so it shouldn't be your primary mineral source. Use it as a flavorful, natural alternative to table salt!
ALA absorbs better on empty stomach. Take it 30 min before meal. The best form is Sodium-R ALA (Na - R ALA) it is most bioavailable and the most stable version. Not R-ALA! . You can also combine (NA R-ALA) for boost its effect on mitochondrial function with Acety L-Carnitine (ALCAR) and CoQ10 for mitochondrial energy.
Hi Dr, Medicine like aspirin, atorvastatin create diabetes. So, how can we reverse diabetes, trying to exercise, eat healthy, take herbs,, sleep well, relaxed, having good friends etc...when we are on medication? We are not in control because of medication. Thank you Dr.
Lifestyle changes like exercise, diet, and stress management are still effective, even with medications. Monitor blood sugar, and talk to your doctor about possible adjustments. You have control-stay consistent!
