    My Aunt consumed ACV daily and even added to her bath water for decades. She lived to be 106 (passed in her sleep at home) and never went to a hospital except when she broke her nose playing basketball in 1936. She credited her longevity to her compulsive ACV and garlic use every day since she was 17. Her Italian heritage and family were integral in getting started with the regimen and she sang the praises of ACV to all who would hear. I miss her...

      Raw garlic is a great anti-parasitic. I met a uber driver in Texas who said he had kept healthy by eating raw garlic daily. I know it'd take a lot of getting use-to as the flavor is really strong!

      You don't have to just sit & chew raw garlic! You can mince it finely, then put small portions in your mouth at a time and chase it with a favorite drink (juice, tea, water, coffee, milk, whatever). You're done in a couple of minutes or less.

    I love videos like this because it allows me to think about things I can take action on to control a situation. Beyond the obvious buying and drinking ACV, I think it’s possible that other fermented foods (sauerkraut, kimchi etc.) might have similar effects if eaten with a meal. Then beyond that is the possibility of making my own ACV (or sauerkraut, kimchi, kvass….). I love watching this first thing in the morning because it makes for a very positive mindset for the rest of the day. Thanks.

    Keto diet also causes fat breakdown and therefore high triglycerides in blood tests may be found. I’m Type2 Dian. For 18 yrs now. Went on keto lost 40 lbs in 4 months. Got nine fasting labs in search of UTI, all labs and BP, cholesterol great except Triglycerides ( they were down from last labs) and ketones. My Ketone bld meter was 4.
    After my dr. Consulted a endocrinologist, they called me back and told me “you are in diabetic ketone acidosis and need to go to ER get admitted to ICU right away.”
    No I said i have high ketones from nutritional ketosis. I don’t have any signs of acidosis. Im a retired ICU nurse but they scared my husband. Off I went, jammed ER on Thanksgiving, they wouldn’t see me right away, I went home. End of story? I was told to go back on Insulin and gained my 40 plus pounds back.

    Since covid infection I’ve found glucose management and fat burning much more difficult. I’m sure the beta blocker for the heart arrhythmia resulting from LC stops me accessing ffat as fuel efficiently. Ladies, be aware that once menopause starts, your blood sugar is gonna be higher. Your triglycerides are gonna be way higher, and your cholesterol is going to be higher... I believe the only way to really combat that without medication is exercise on a daily basis, at least 30 minutes a day of getting your heart rate up and getting that blood moving to push all of that through your body... So yeah, it's way harder for a woman because once the estrogen goes down, everything else goes up...keep moving and eat whole foods...at least that is what worked for me...Stay away from the sugar. It really raises your cholesterol and your triglycerides. When I say sugar, I don't only mean candy and cakes and donuts.I mean, carbohydrates things that turn into sugar and added sugars.Keep all that in mind if you want to stay off medication and stay healthy....just sayin.

    I have lived with high triglycerides for as long as I can remember. First diagnosed at age 30, at a level so high they couldn't get a proper reading of them, over 3,500! It seems I have inherited this condition from someone in my family, perhaps father. This was discovered in 1985. In 1999 I was diagnosed as diabetic. I was put through complete physical exams every two to three years by my employer (State Dept) and diabetes was not discovered until 1999, but triglycerides were caught in my pre-employment physical, and tracked throughout the years. I have never, even until now, experienced high blood pressure though. If I severely restrict my diet, I can get blood sugar to a normal level, but triglycerides are another matter. Best I can do is still about 4 to 5 times high normal and that's with medicine! I'm 70 now.

    Hello Dr. Brewer: Could you please do an episode on Myocardial Bridge and cover this important congenital condition. I recently went to see a cardiologist and after numerous tests were done I was diagnosed via a coronary angiogram that I was born with bridging of my lad artery. No sign of coronary artery disease. I am now on a beta blocker but doesn’t seem to work. I’m tired and ready to get a bridge unroofing surgery. I would appreciate any information on this important health matter. Thank you Sir and Merry Christmas to everyone reading this.

    Actually any vinegar will do the same thing its the acetic acid ... ive used wine vinegar too ... i often drink it but many people just cant
    if you have it half an hour before a meal you can eat a few carbs without the spikes ... very useful and for weight or fat loss .

    Is it true that ACV lowers potassium levels? If so, what can be the affect of that on the heart for those who are sixty and above? Especially for those going through the process of trying to reduce blood pressure. Love to see a video on this even I it is short. Is being a member the same as subscription. I do not see a membership button.

    At Aldi Simply Nature Large Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. It's unfiltered, and unpasteurized as well. I was buying Fairchild's on Amazon before they stopped selling it there. Braggs has gotten pale & weak, but I didn't know about the change in ownership. I just didn't like the decline in quality is why I made the switch.

    • @BobJ357
      @BobJ357 Месяц назад +2

      @@gfulton7753 To do this I grind up the apples to make a pulp and then press to extract the juice. I then ferment using a standard wine yeast (typically red star). I then add some of my current batch of acv (similar to the way you make sour dough bread) and let the active culture create the ACV.

    I’ve done it for years, when a gynecologist and fertility expert were of no use my friend who later became a naturopath said oh pcos is easy to treat. She told me about the braggs, cutting sugar because it feeds excess yeast in the body - which is all pcos is) The braggs would kill it.
    Within a few months after years of disappointment I was pregnant! He’s 22.
    I also had a psychiatrist from India and asked him what he thought and he said people in India have used and known the health benefits of acv for hundreds of years.
    We will never have concrete evidence of what it does efficiently because who is gonna pay a couple million for clinicals when there’s no profit?
    I still add some to my water daily.

Than night, when I laid down, I had a gallbladder attack; and passed stones. Drank more in a few days, and passed more stones. INSTANT CURE! Now, I'm done and haven't digested food this well, since I was 10 years old.

    When and how do you take it? 2 tsp on empty stomach? in the morning, at night? before, with or after meal? 1 tsp in the morning, 1 tsp after dinner?
    Or any of that matters... Is there a good and a bad way to take it?!

    • @cdv.8244
      @cdv.8244 Месяц назад +1

      Good question…. But I still take it in the morning on empty stomach. Warm water 2 tablespoons. Small sips mix with saliva then swallow. Then I rinse mouth with water to help avoid teeth enamel deterioration. I will try Fairchild brand. Have always used Bragg. Good luck. BTW probably beneficial to take later before dinner as well.
