Beyond the obvious buying and drinking ACV, I think it’s possible that other fermented foods (sauerkraut, kimchi etc.) might have similar effects if eaten with a meal. Keto diet also causes fat breakdown and therefore high triglycerides in blood tests may be found. I’m Type2 Dian. For 18 yrs now. Went on keto lost 40 lbs in 4 months. Got nine fasting labs in search of UTI, all labs and BP, cholesterol great except Triglycerides ( they were down from last labs) and ketones. My Ketone bld meter was 4. After my dr. I found out some time ago that Braggs bought all of their ACV from a major producer and that this producer bought out Braggs. Ladies, be aware that once menopause starts, your blood sugar is gonna be higher. Your triglycerides are gonna be way higher, and your cholesterol is going to be higher... I believe the only way to really combat that without medication is exercise on a daily basis, at least 30 minutes a day of getting your heart rate up and getting that blood moving to push all of that through your body... So yeah, it's way harder for a woman because once the estrogen goes down, everything else goes up...keep moving and eat whole foods...at least that is what worked for me...Stay away from the sugar. It really raises your cholesterol and your triglycerides. When I say sugar, I don't only mean candy and cakes and donuts.I mean, carbohydrates things that turn into sugar and added sugars.Keep all that in mind if you want to stay off medication and stay healthy....just sayin.
menopause doesn't "start". It's the one day marking one year since your last period. After that, you're in post-menopause. Before that, it's all perimenopause 😀
I have lived with high triglycerides for as long as I can remember. First diagnosed at age 30, at a level so high they couldn't get a proper reading of them, over 3,500! It seems I have inherited this condition from someone in my family, perhaps father. This was discovered in 1985. In 1999 I was diagnosed as diabetic. I was put through complete physical exams every two to three years by my employer (State Dept) and diabetes was not discovered until 1999, but triglycerides were caught in my pre-employment physical, and tracked throughout the years. I have never, even until now, experienced high blood pressure though. If I severely restrict my diet, I can get blood sugar to a normal level, but triglycerides are another matter. Best I can do is still about 4 to 5 times high normal and that's with medicine! I'm 70 now.
Number 4: make sure it hasn't been diluted! I'm lucky I live in a country that does have a reputable brand, with basically no push-back: Ceres Organic.
Hi Doc and team. Another great video. I have osteopersosis and apparently SCV is not a good idea for people with that health issue as it can speed up bone deterioration. Just curious if you have a thought on that?
Hello Dr. Brewer: Could you please do an episode on Myocardial Bridge and cover this important congenital condition. I recently went to see a cardiologist and after numerous tests were done I was diagnosed via a coronary angiogram that I was born with bridging of my lad artery. No sign of coronary artery disease. I am now on a beta blocker but doesn’t seem to work. I’m tired and ready to get a bridge unroofing surgery. I would appreciate any information on this important health matter. Thank you Sir and Merry Christmas to everyone reading this.
ACV severely messed with my joint pain... Out of the blue my knees started hurting like they never hurt before in my life... As soon as I stop the ACV the pain went away.
, during covid-19. I drank lots of water that night. I know that I became a diabetic that night. I went to the doctor in the morning and he confirmed that I was. Because I know when the sugar goes high in the blood the kidney has to flush the sugar out. Knowledge is power.
Actually any vinegar will do the same thing its the acetic acid ... ive used wine vinegar too ... i often drink it but many people just cant if you have it half an hour before a meal you can eat a few carbs without the spikes ... very useful and for weight or fat loss .
Is it true that ACV lowers potassium levels? If so, what can be the affect of that on the heart for those who are sixty and above? Especially for those going through the process of trying to reduce blood pressure. Love to see a video on this even I it is short. Is being a member the same as subscription. I do not see a membership button.
At Aldi Simply Nature Large Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. It's unfiltered, and unpasteurized as well. I was buying Fairchild's on Amazon before they stopped selling it there. Braggs has gotten pale & weak, but I didn't know about the change in ownership. I just didn't like the decline in quality is why I made the switch.
Not sure I agree. There are reputable companies, and ingredients are on label. Otherwise, you gonna make everything you consume? And you trust the apples you buy?
@@gfulton7753 To do this I grind up the apples to make a pulp and then press to extract the juice. I then ferment using a standard wine yeast (typically red star). I then add some of my current batch of acv (similar to the way you make sour dough bread) and let the active culture create the ACV.
I’ve done it for years, when a gynecologist and fertility expert were of no use my friend who later became a naturopath said oh pcos is easy to treat. She told me about the braggs, cutting sugar because it feeds excess yeast in the body - which is all pcos is) The braggs would kill it. Within a few months after years of disappointment I was pregnant! He’s 22. I also had a psychiatrist from India and asked him what he thought and he said people in India have used and known the health benefits of acv for hundreds of years. We will never have concrete evidence of what it does efficiently because who is gonna pay a couple million for clinicals when there’s no profit? I still add some to my water daily.
I... was poop'n white. Dr. said gallbladder surgery. I said no thank you. I went home and drank half a cup of vinegar, chased with half a glass of water. Than night, when I laid down, I had a gallbladder attack; and passed stones. Drank more in a few days, and passed more stones. INSTANT CURE! Now, I'm done and haven't digested food this well, since I was 10 years old.
When and how do you take it? 2 tsp on empty stomach? in the morning, at night? before, with or after meal? 1 tsp in the morning, 1 tsp after dinner? Or any of that matters... Is there a good and a bad way to take it?!
Good question…. But I still take it in the morning on empty stomach. Warm water 2 tablespoons. Small sips mix with saliva then swallow. Then I rinse mouth with water to help avoid teeth enamel deterioration. I will try Fairchild brand. Have always used Bragg. Good luck. BTW probably beneficial to take later before dinner as well.

Thanks Doc, very informative. Kenya
menopause doesn't "start".
I'm 70 now.
Thank you for this video!
You are so welcome!
I saw a store that says they are not carrying briggs any more because the quality has been reduced. I make my own, so i dont have to worry
Please comment more on Amylase. Mine has been elevated for many years and doctors say don't worry about it.
Gracias por la traducción al español doctor, mil y un bendiciones 🎉❤
Que magnífico explicación nunca había escuchado nada más sertero xy explicado tan claro
Your videos are very informative. Appreciate them. Thank you.
Number 4: make sure it hasn't been diluted!
I'm lucky I live in a country that does have a reputable brand, with basically no push-back: Ceres Organic.
When is the best time and way to consume ACV?
Wow .. he explains very clearly .. thank you Doctor!
Very clearly? I didn't understand half of what he said! It was to technical.
Hi Doc and team. Another great video. I have osteopersosis and apparently SCV is not a good idea for people with that health issue as it can speed up bone deterioration. Just curious if you have a thought on that?
very interesting.
OK, Dr. Brewer I would like a definite answer. I hope you get this comment does ACV is bad for people with osteoporosis or not.? thank you😊
Thank you Sir and Merry Christmas to everyone reading this.
and most importantly, where is the father?
Que bueno que investigó. Vengo de ver un vídeo donde usted decía que lo del vinagre de manzana era un mito. ❤
Gracias. Saludos! Pero, qual video?
@@PrevMedHealth El video que habla de los mitos
Is it possible to over do it? I love it so much I drink it 3-4 times daily.
Good morning Doc !
Good morning!
ACV severely messed with my joint pain... Out of the blue my knees started hurting like they never hurt before in my life... As soon as I stop the ACV the pain went away.
Love your videos 🙏🙏
, during covid-19. I drank lots of water that night. I know that I became a diabetic that night. I went to the doctor in the morning and he confirmed that I was. Because I know when the sugar goes high in the blood the kidney has to flush the sugar out. Knowledge is power.
Actually any vinegar will do the same thing its the acetic acid ... ive used wine vinegar too ... i often drink it but many people just cant
if you have it half an hour before a meal you can eat a few carbs without the spikes ... very useful and for weight or fat loss .
Excelente 👏👏👏😊
Good video. Thank you.
Thanks for This info!!... :)
I believe Bragg's now includes water on its ingredient list...
Dr Ford look face look fresher today!
So, when there was no apple cider vinegar in times past...what did they do?
Knowledgeable man - just wish he was more concise with his information - too wordy making the video too lengthy 😢
Would like to know what his diet is. I know more keto than low carb.
Is it true that ACV lowers potassium levels? If so, what can be the affect of that on the heart for those who are sixty and above? Especially for those going through the process of trying to reduce blood pressure. Love to see a video on this even I it is short. Is being a member the same as subscription. I do not see a membership button.
Good video.Thanks !
Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Dr. Brewer. I have a Q: I have heard that having ACV every day erodes tooth enamel. Could you comment on this?
At Aldi Simply Nature Large Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. It's unfiltered, and unpasteurized as well. I was buying Fairchild's on Amazon before they stopped selling it there. Braggs has gotten pale & weak, but I didn't know about the change in ownership. I just didn't like the decline in quality is why I made the switch.
Qual o melhor vinagre maçã orgânico
Those with underlying conditions should consult a healthcare professional before incorporating ACV into their daily routine.
😅wonderful, valuable knowledge but sir, there is a damage to Enamal, sensitivity of tooth while using ACV how you comment on it please reply
Dilute 1 teaspoon ACV in 250 water, use a straw to prevent tooth sensitive
Dilute the dose and immediately rinse with still water and you should be OK.
Drink with a straw, always. I too rinse my mouth after I’m done drinking it. Never drink vinegar straight, always dilute.
Thank you Doc!
Is it good to take apple cider vinegar while you eat, or after you eat.
I mix mine in 8 oz of water 💧
I’ve heard that medium chain triglycerides are helpful for the body like coconut oil
Thank you!
Another great video. Best to make your own. 👍. Only way to be sure what’s in it
Always!
Not sure I agree. There are reputable companies, and ingredients are on label.
Otherwise, you gonna make everything you consume?
And you trust the apples you buy?
I make what I can and ACV is one. For apples I use my own tree which is pesticide free. Works for me.
My neighbor has extra apples every fall, do you have a recommended recipe or recipe book for ACV?
We make our own Apple cider vinegar. Will that work as good or better?
Why not regular vinegar? Why does it have ti be apple vinegar??
If Bill Gates is part owner there is no way i would buy it.
He bought out the braggs brand
heck..
That evil man should be forced to use all of his own adultered products although, he looks as if he already does.
OH MY GOD
He’s the largest farmland owner in the US. Buy from small farms.
I... was poop'n white. Dr. said gallbladder surgery.
Where to buy this particular ACV. It's out of stock on amazon
Braggs does say Water added
Any opinion on the bacteria on Pancreas causing less insulin .
Thank you so much for another great video. ❤
Anything about shaking the mother... before consumption Doc?
Dear Dr Brewer: Please give your reaction to Medical Medium opinion on ACV. He likes it a lot less & the comments under his video are much less complimentary.
