I bet he doesn't get brewer's droop.
That's funny! I never heard the term til now.

Dear Dr. Brewer, I am a 74-year-old retired engineer. For several years I have had the problems and the urge to use the bathroom and it was making me crazy. Thanks to Cialis, all my problems are gone now. I can not agree enough with what you are saying.
ONE IMPORTANT POINT in my case is that 5 mg of Cialis was not enough. Thanks to my Urologist. My urology doctor approved my request for 10mg daily and I still am using it. It really does the magic. I am certain that this extra 5 mg (Total 10) also has had a big effect in my case. Thank you for your excellent clip.
*Dont use the WC, bathroom, Lavatory, Toilet - especially in the NIGHT! Get a urinal or a bucket!*
I have been taking 5mg daily for over 2 years. It shrunk my prostrate to the point that I no longer get up in the middle of the night. It also helped my Peyronies significantly and lowered my PSA on my last test. I'm 70 years old.
You always do a great job Dr Brewer! I enjoy your podcasts tremendously and am a pharmacist. I take Cialis and benefit from 3 of the conditions mentioned! Thank you for all you do to improve peoples health!
It isn't men that ignore men's health issues. Female Dr.'s and their PA's do as well. It takes 3 months to get an appointment (out her in the rural area where I reside)and yet questions or exams regarding such issues are not even asked. The prevalence seems to be focusing on "women's health issues". So your information is helpful. The tadalafil has helped with my BPH. self diagnosed BTW.
Went to Bangkok 2 weeks. Bought Cialis.. took 1 and was good for 2 days.

I started using 5mg C a few years back. If I now miss a few days, I start to not feel well. It has made a major change in my overall health. So much more general energy.
100% Dead On 👍
I've taken Cialis 5mg for several years now. When my first doc put me on Flomax and Finasteride I had a lot of unwanted problems. Cialis has been a game changer for my BPH.
Please clarify that!!!!!!! Thanks
Same here. Serious allergic reaction to tradition meds. Tadalafil works good for LUTS.
100% Yes👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Couldn’t tolerate Flomax. Made my face hurt, especially my teeth. Very strange.
No problems with Cialis.
Same here , flomax made my heart rate up and gave me anixity , the Calais was the game changer

I took Cialis for five years. I wound up with an inflamed stomach and had to quit. It worked great for BPH and high blood pressure meds. My Gastroenterologist wanted me to take omepresol for my stomach inflammation. I'm tired of taking so many pills.
There are videos on RUclips indicating that taking the peptide BPC 157 will greatly decrease any and all gastric problems. Do your research.

What dosage were you taking?
It works excellent for all the prostate and bladder problems, I've used it for years, yeah, there's some small side effects, but, the prostate and bladder problems are much worse.
I agree 👍
How about prostate cancer?
It works excellent for prostate problems but makes it worse?

I take Combigan for Glaucoma. Combigan includes a beta blocker.
My Urologist prescribed me 5mg of cialais for both ED and BPH. I had to reduce the dose to 2.5mg due to low blood pressure. I can't simply stop taking Combigan. Looks like I will have to get my urologist and eye doctor working together. Low BP is the enemy of Glaucoma as well as being unhealthy generally.

I have AFIB and took Cialis and it led to a complication where I had an episode of PAC's. PAC is Premature Atrial Contraction - a heart arrythmia. They were not painful - they feel like very strong AFIB - but I felt like I was close to fainting multiple times. This is not listed as a possible complication, so I waited a week and took another 5mg Cialis and had another PAC episode. If you have AFIB be very careful about taking Cialis.
Yes I don’t know why Dr Brewer hasn’t even mentioned this possible side effect especially he has his history of AFIb
@@BobToast-o5n OK, but he did say "If you have a heart, liver, or kidney problem, speak to your doc."
@@NickWestgateExactly, and obviously it didn’t have that effect on him. We are all different and have different effects from meds
I had constant a fib and had to have cardioversion many times I finally had ablation that was four years ago. I’ve been on Cialis ever since with no problems, and the a fib has been cured.
I have Afib, take sotalol for managing of Aifb and have had no issues taking 5mg daily of cialis.
Just a thought if it improves vascular flow could it reduce the risk of forms of dementia that are caused by restrictive cerebral blood flow?
I’m not a doctor, but from my reading the literature on this that cialis affects some areas but not others. It doesn’t have a uniform, body-wide effect.
I’m 68 and have been taking 5mg ofTidadafil for over5 years, for BPH it allows me to sleep all night and have improved urine flow. Absolutely a game changer!
*Your dosage/ per week? The cost USD?*
60 yrs with mild BPH and diabetes. It gives me terrible lower back pain for 2-3 days. Plus, the effects down below aren't strong enough like sildenfil (which gives me stuffy nose for a few hours ... but I can tolerate that). Have tried it about 5-6 times over the years with consistent symptoms of back pain ... eventually gave up on Cialis.
Maybe break the pill in half and take 2.5 mg
Very good video. I gained a lot of respect for this gentleman when he concluded with proper diet/lifestyle.

Low dose has not helped me with the frequency unfortunately but It's very inexpensive with my prescription plan. Other benefits were positive though.
As usual, very good and important information 👍

Thank you so much for your advice, I am experiencing these benefits, after trying in 2 months. Yes, you are 100% right.
I am 64 years old and have diabetes type 2.
I have been taking Cialis and Alfuzosin Hydrochloride 10mg daily for the past 6 months and it has helped me a lot in reducing my enlarged prostate and the difficulty I was having while urinating.
Appreciate your sharing of information. I certainly need to discuss this with my doctor.
FYI, I’ve lost nearly 100 # & eat a ketogenic diet within a shorten eating window & brought down my fasting BG to 80’s. Initially my BP dropped a little but still stays above the recommended level (140s/90’s) except exposure to heat drops my BP. Looking to increase NO to drop BP.
Good for you!
Although I noticed positive effects each day using it, Tadalafil 5 mg gave me headaches, severe enough that I had to discontinue. Cost wasn't so much the issue, as the L-Citrulline I use everyday goes from 10 to 20 gm a day and is equally expensive.
Sorry to read this, I'm glad citrulline is working for you, is a topic in our short list for next videos

Thank you so much doctor, dor your concise and useful information!
5 mg Cialis has been extremely helpful with my BPH/LUTS/Chronic Prostatitis/Pelvic Pain. Initially tried Tamsulosin, but didn't like it (can't remember why, sorry). I also tried Proscar, but like 30-50% of men, stopped after a month with sore breasts and total loss of libido (yikes!). Also tried a Eurolift which stopped helping within a year. The reality seems to be that if you have an enlarged Prostate, maybe one should just bite the bullet up front and have a procedure done that generally relieves the issues long term. A TURP is currently the gold standard of care/treatment, but I think Aquablation may be even better and will eventually overtake/replace TURP. Problem I have is that now I have a Gleason 7 (3/4) and it's recommended that I treat that as well. A lot of abuse for one prostate. It's hell getting old. LOL
My Urologist has me on a combination of 5 mg Cialis, .4 mg Tamsulosin, and 15mg Meloxicam for BPH. He keeps telling me I have Prostatitis, the last DRE I had sent me over the table and I peed blood for a day. Sorry TMI. I also have low-grade Prostate cancer. That combo of meds has helped with nocturia but still getting up on average once per. It has improved from 3 times per. Been on this combo for more than 90 days. Not to mention other things I do to combat inflammation. No alcohol, eat as clean as possible, turmeric and cinnamon in coffee, no sugar, etc. Also, my symptoms improved when I stopped eating and drinking water around 6 or 7 PM and fasted until 10 or 11 the next morning. I am going to try cold plunging for the next 30 days. May still have to opt for the HIFU procedure.
I should also say I'm 70 and these are the ONLY meds I'm on
Ask about HIFU to treat your prostate cancer. It will shrink your prostate improving urine flow and treat the cancer. Medicare recognizes this treatment since 2023.
BTW Turmeric combined with black pepper can be hard on your liver and can amplify medications leading to overdosing of prescription meds.
What a well made and informative video.
Re - priapism, you can slowly squeeze the blood out of the member
Re- side effects, the most common is acid reflux.
Further, it works better with l-Citrulline

Doctor reluctance to prescribe Tadalafil is the number one problem to getting relief with this medicine for elderly BPH sufferers. Don't blame it on the victims. I personally had to fight for 6 months with my doctor to get him to investigate it enough to allow me a prescription. Same doc refuses to do Nitric Oxide tests to determine if there is a deficiency. These guys will argue that there is no clinical evidence that low NO levels are a problem. And that they do not want to "experiment" on patients.
When you're old, you have much less to lose! If you don't try something that might help, you lose. We don't have time to waste waiting months for an expensive evaluation. Just try carefully and see if it works. At best, we only have a few years to look forward to. Cialis can provide a path to sexual fulfillment at an age when opportunity is otherwise quite limited.

I've developed weak erection from taking Zoloft. I spoke with my family doctor and she suggested trying Cialis I take the generic brand. She gave me 20 mg tablets told me to divide in, 4 equal parts which is 5 mg each. I'm very sensitive to medications plus I'm usually scared of taking any medications so I decided to divide one part in half giving me 2.5. I had an erection of an extremely healthy teenager!!! Not only that I was able to have full, strong erections for the next 3 days. I'm thankful for Cialis but will not be taking it each time I engage in sex

My Dad, newly widowed, aged 79, wanted to remarry. In hopes of becoming, er, more youthful, to please a new wife, he went to a doctor and got on blood pressure medication and cholesterol medication. He told me all about this. A few months later, he told me he had been to ANOTHER doctor and obtained more medication.
A few months after this, he had been having bad reactions to his cholesterol med, and his doctor changed to a different one. Not long after that, his girl friend (about his own age) called me and told me that he had had a terrible allergic reaction to his meds, his airway swelled up and he was having trouble breathing. She took him to the local clinic/hospital, where they performed an emergency tracheotomy. They thought he was stable. His girlfriend left to feed the animals on his little farm, and he just slipped away.
Later my brother and I found a bottle of Cialis with his other meds.
That’s why he went to a second doctor, because the other doctor wouldn’t give it to him.
Sometimes Cialis does not play nicely with other meds.
Dad died at 80. His younger brother lived to 95.
You have been warned!
80 years old is a great age to die. (My father died at 76, mother at 73).
I'm sure that your father was informed about the risks of taking Cialis, but he decided to take it. So yes, your father died earlier, but probably much happier than his brother.
May both rest in peace.
It gave me very blurry vision and Flomax made my eyes unable to focus quick enough to read road signs when I was driving plus it made me dizzy if I got up right away it made me feel about 10 years older than I am

I was having a horrible time with chronic non bacterial prostatitis, LUTS, Pelvic floor muscle tightness and learned about the benefits you discuss re Cialis. I got terrible back pain. I cut the pill in half and still had the back pain. I didn't fill the second script bc it was just too painful.

"mice with ED". LOL. How would anyone know? Kidding aside the Cialis points are spot on. My Urologist has me on Cialis for BPH because more heavy duty drugs like Uroxatral give me heart palpitations and dizzyness. No Cialis side effects at 5mg/day. Significantly reduces BPH symptoms.
* POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS: Headache, stomach upset, back pain, muscle pain, stuffy nose, flushing, or dizziness may occur. If any of these effects last or get worse, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. To reduce the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position.
* AVOID Cialis if you have a serious heart and liver problem. have recently had a stroke or a heart attack. have low blood pressure (hypotension) or uncontrolled high blood pressure (hypertension) have ever lost your vision due to reduced blood flow to the eye
Thank you for pointing this out. Cialis is not good for me and I wonder if the new Erexon gel is worth trying.
@@jaffarbaqi 🙂👍
In other words, forget it.
High blood pressure , arrhythmia
I am doing well with this wonderful pill I never had any side effects from cialis since 10 years
Could Cialis be helpful with preventing prostate cancer or helpful getting treatment to the prostate?
I had an Rx of just 5mg, and since I’m a lightweight with any medication, I cut the tablet in half to see how it affected me. These pills gave me raging erections that would keep me up at night, even if I had “taken care of business” before bed. More than 5mg would give me heart palpitations.
But they don’t always work as intended. Once, when I was highly anxious, while attempting to have intercourse with a woman, the pills didn’t work until the next morning. I had taken I think up to 15mg, and basically just had a racing, pounding heart all night. Then in the morning I finally got the results I needed.
“Performance anxiety” was the reason I asked for a prescription. Doctor had no problem giving it to me.
@@davidanderson8469 Yeah, you’re a real winner, genius. I’m sure.

Why should I talk to "my" doctor(that I don't have)? I do my own research in depth! I've studied medicine and wish to have nothing to do with the medical prescription system. Cialis is not a controlled substance and should be far more available.
I have no dependents and though I agree with this video, I'm not going to pay for and beg a "doctor" for a prescription that I already know works for me. I've never had any doctor listen or give me what I want. I've listened to my body for a lifetime and know it intimately. I just need the product, not the advice. In many countries, Cialis is OTC. In America, it's not. I hate to do without, but I'm really tired of having no access to a known beneficial drug. I take full responsibility for my own health!
It sounds like you'd do much better to live in one of those countries where it's OTC. Have you considered such a move?
@@RichardHarlos I probably would, but I've spent a lifetime adapting to the American culture and love this land. I'd just like to see the freedom and self-reliance again that our heritage reflects. In earlier times, prior to 1910, everything was available without question if you were willing to pay for it. Since the Flexner report and the Rockefeller Foundation, medicine has been weaponized and politicized against individual control and experimentation. This has limited those who think out of the box. Many useful drugs are beyond the reach of anyone but an MD or an outlaw. It's just sad.
@@RichardHarlosAre you telling him to abandon his country to the evil government that oppresses 99 percent of patients instead of killing doctors until they are scared to deny full treatment to all patients regardless of wealth?

@Dr. Brewer. Two topics. 1. I will ask my endo doctor for the 5 mg dose. 2. On lifestyle, I have been on Keto based upon your many videos on the topic and would like to transfer to carnivore. Do you have reservations for that switch? I am 76, t2 diabetic, and two heart attacks. And walk not less than 15 miles a week. And lost 100 pounds. Thanks. Robert P
Thanks, Dr. Brewer. Can you comment on the reports that daily cialis might also reduce the risk of Alzheimer's?
I take 10 mg Bystolic and 5 mg Cialis for blood pressure - should I not be doing that? It lowers me from about 165/92 to about 145/88...Im 69
The problem with Cialis is the price. Here in Europe your paying 65 Euros for four tabs. The second problem is, it gives me bad heartburn and partially closes my nose, as in it also swells up the soft tissue in my nasal cavity making breathing difficul.

Terrible heartburn! On keto is less terrible, but awesome fir everything else. If I could completely overcome the heartburn issues, I'd take it regularly! I dont want to be popping heartburn tabs. I just use Citreline daily.

I experienced as side effect that I get kicked out of nutritional ketosis. The causation is that Insulin needs nitric oxide as a co-factor to work. any downside to taking Cialis daily on a near indefinite term without any other medications?
