I purchased the 126234 black dial fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet last year for my 30th birthday. If you ever have opportunity to buy it please do! Honestly the videos don't do it justice. Its beautiful and the quality feels amazing. They really nailed it with this design!

I walked into my AD on 10Oct2020 and saw Model 126234 on display and said “I’ll take that one please.” It’s a 36mm steel OP DateJust with a fluted white gold bezel on a Jubilee bracelet wearing a bright blue sunray dial with lumed indices on all the hours bar the 12 (Crown) and 3 (date) under a cyclops lens. Such a classic watch; positively breathtaking… especially in bright sunlight! It’s basically the “go anywhere” watch. (Well, anywhere 100 meters or less under the sea which, given my local geography, perfectly fits my use-case.) Congratulations on your purchase and enjoy it in good health!
I got mine as a gift in 2017, 41mm Blue dial, Oyster SS Bracelet, and I didn't like it first. But now I'm in love with it. Great Video, keep it up. But if I had the choice, I would have got the Jubilee SS Bracelet.

I was only 24 years old that I targetted to buy a Rolex for myself, when I will celebrate my 40th birthday. Unfortunately, I wasn’t ready to buy a Rolex when I turned out 40. In 2017 when I was 42, that BIG DAY came and I was finally ready to put my dream on my wrist. Just a small reminder, living in Turkey and earning on Turkish Lira base, makes life really really hard on purchasing €uro based goods. For example, 1 €uro is 7,70 TL (!) which means, a Turkish gentleman has to pay for almost 8 Rolex watches (!) when compared to a European gentleman paying only 1 to buy, because of the currency 😃 Going back to my story, in 2017 I paid a visit to one of ADs here in Istanbul, told them that I wanted to buy a Submariner-114060 and learned that “there was a waiting list” for at least 1 year. After waiting for 2 years and meanwhile visiting all the ADs in Istanbul, trying to build a relationship with them, one of the other detail which was surprising me more than ever was; “the small cards” which they were writing down the notes of name, communication details and the model for which the customer was waiting for... Being in “Premium Segment” automotive business for 22 years, I still can’t understand that CRM-Customer Relation Management system to follow the customers needs on small handwritten cards but not computers, which is totally another story. At first I thought that they were just using those small cards just to gain some time and copying it down to the database on their computers but I understood that wasn’t their system at all, when I saw that the salesman was searching for my name out of those hundreds of small cards, when I visited the AD and asked if there was any progress on the waiting time left. Furthermore, I have also visited ADs in Gothenburg, Paris and London between 2017 and 2019, when I was on business vacations, but each and every one of them smiled at me, when I have asked for a Submariner😁 Finally, in August 2019, I was in Israel for a short summer holiday. Right after I arrived, I checked up the web site and phoned all the ADs one by one, asked for the Submariner and the answer I got from each one was a clear NO. One more interesting issue was, the price they were telling for the Rolex models of Submariner, Datejust and Daydate was nearly 20% more expensive than the prices across Europe. So I decided to visit 2 of them if I come across by coincedence. I was wearing my shorts, a lousy T-Shirt, sandals and my Apple Watch 🙈 when I desperately entered an AD in Israel and asked if they had a Submariner no date-114060 in stock. The salesman was really gentle, he looked right into my eyes for a couple of seconds and kindly replied me that he has in stock, exactly what I asked for... I was in BIG SHOCK!!! I asked the price and after the answer, I told him that I was really surprised about why the prices were nearly 20% higher than Europe. He insisted that the prices were allinged with Europe, but we couldn’t convince each other. Long story short, he gave a couple of percentages of discount and with the advantage of 17% tax free refund as a tourist, I decided not to miss this chance and grabed the world’s most desired model of the most loved watch brand. While the salesman was taking the stickers off, preparing the documents and the invoice of the shining Submariner, I asked him about the “waiting list” issue, my story of waiting for more than 2 years and even the phoning before I came to his boutique. He kindly said that, he doesn’t keep any waiting list and the customer who personally visits his shop and asks nicely the watch, directly gets the watch, if he has it in stock. Of course, those most desired models were not on display, they were kept in the back room. My new dream is to buy; a Datejust, 41 mm, blue dial with jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel 🎯⌚️🙏🏼🤩 Working for VOLVO 🚙, I am travelling to Sweden-Gothenburg frequently. Taking also 19% of tax free refund advantage into consideration, I prefer to buy the Datejust especially from Gothenburg. Whenever I make a business trip to Gothenburg, I always visit the one and only Rolex AD in town. I always inform them that I will be visiting for the Datejust and remind them that I am on their waiting list. Anything is possible, my parents were manual laborers and now one owns a construction business and the other has worked for the government for 20 years. I grew up very poor and went to school on a loan. Now I own many watches including 2 rolex's. Set small realistic goals (and long term goals) and as long as you are doing good or a little better each day before you know it you'll have that car/watch/career/house etc. I believe in you!
Don't undersell yourself. It took me years to purchase one like this-a lot of sacrifices and hard work. When I finally was able to buy, I felt as if I didn't deserve it. The salesman said, ” reward yourself and enjoy because life is short.”

Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons. You have many ways to figure it out. You can see it on the receipt. You can see it on the warranty card. You can see that same watch in his other video that he posted six days ago where he visited all of the dealers, at the 7:51 time stamp. You can also see when he approaches this dealer in that same video, at the 5:53 timestamp, just before you see the actual watch two minutes later. Also notice that the same Sky-Dwellers are under the case at the 6:24 timestamp of that other video, just as you see them in this video. ;)
I have a 11 year old Oyster Perpetual. I believe it is 36 mm. It’s just too small for me. I’m not a big fan of the Datejust, but I love your Oyster Perpetual. 39mm? My AD has about 50 Datejusts. He keeps asking me to come in and take a look. I told him to call me when he has a steel sports model. Those models he doesn’t call me on.
I got the black dial last year, no regrets! It looks amazing and is super versatile. I love all the dials but there's something about the contrast of the black dial against the steel, especially with the fluted bezel and jubilee bracelet. It just pops!

Wow, what a coincidence, I just bought this exact watch from my AD last week. It's not that hard to get since you can order any DJ36 and just wait for it to come in (DJ36s are not on allocation...only steel DJ41s are on allocation)..but the steel DJ36, with the blue dial, jubilee bracelet, and fluted bezel is arguably the most in demand non-allocation watch that Rolex makes. The only Datejusts on allocation are the steel DJ41s. The hardest Datejusts to get are the steel DJ41s with a jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel...with the Wimbledon, blue Roman, and blue sticks dials. I own all three and gave one as a gift (I kept the blue Roman and the Wimbledon for myself). Wear it in good health!

All steel DJ 41s are on allocation from Rolex and have been since last July, but those three dials I mentioned are the highest in demand. I own two of them.

Hey Ramon, yes you are 100% correct. Sub already in my collection and I need some more contrast to the sports watches :)! DJ 41 is little bit too big I think. I've had a DJ 41mm in black and replaced it with an oyster perpetual 39mm (blue face) but I think that a blue face dj 36mm will be better.

I would personally would've gone with the 41mm. But overall it's an amazing timepiece. Jubilee bracelet and a fluted bezel, perfect.

The proportions of the watch are ruined in the 41mm. A datejust only looks right in the original 36mm

@@TheDubaiExpat Yep, good luck finding a DJ41 with a steel jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel...especially those with the Wimbledon, blue Roman numerals, or blue sticks dials. All steel DJ 41s are on allocation from Rolex and have been since last July, but those three dials I mentioned are the highest in demand. I own two of them.

Im glad you enjoyed the Rolex you got and that is the most important thing of all. However, the 36 mm is not very popular in Asia or USA. Much easier to get blue dial in the smaller size. Congrats on your find. Glad all these RUclips viewers are supporting your watch addiction.

I just bought this exact watch last week. In the US it is $8,550. If you want to know the retail price in your country simply go to the Rolex website.
Well seeing is how I’ll never be able to get one of these I’ll just have to keep wearing my Seiko 6309, but if anyone needs a right arm I’ll be glad to cut it off for this watch just not my left because that’s my watch arm.

Hey Ramon, yes you are 100% correct. Sub already in my collection and I need some more contrast to the sports watches :)! DJ 41 is little bit too big I think. The lugs often stand over the sides of my wrist. Guess that would feel uncomfortable :D.
