YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME FOR STAYING WITH THE D SERIES BUILD!! DIDNT JUMP ON THE B SERIES BANDWAGON..PEOPLE ALWAYS UNDERESTIMATE THE SOHC!!
Sorry to hear about travs car. You should look into replacing the stock rod bolts for ARP rod bolts. You can say that is a single cams weakest link when coming to staying up in the upper revs for extend amounts of time. The D series has a 90mm crank so the rod ratio is a little worst then an B18b LS motor and they run the same rod bolts. At about $40 for a set of arp rod bolts, it’s cheap insurance.
Good job. Remembered the time when I used to modify my eg and ek. Love the content.
Glad its back up and running guys
Nice work guys. It would of been nice to see the actual first start. That’s always exciting to see.
Great video man. Appreciate you guys. Tbanks

Thank you for this link god it helped 100% thxs man
I remember after installing the aftermarket cam, I did the same thing and the car could idle very low without turning off. This will definitely keep it running in tip top shape
Just did a valve adjustment. My compression before I started was like
She sounds good!
Just bought my wrench race refine repeat shirt... keep up the good work guys I love the channel. I’ll grab a sticker now too. Hope it helps.
A valve adjustment takes finest my man.

Yeah more content to the channel !!!! Keep up guys cheers from Puerto Rico
pass through sockets. get the cheap harbor freight set it will make valve adjustments a breeze. also having a flat head that fits snug and has good grip will help speed things up.
Know like nothing about cars but fr want to start a project now!!
TRACK DAY!!!!
I'd adjust the valves again and make sure it's still good after a few times running it
Idk why I just noticed, but if you can find a junkyard y8 and grab the exhaust manifold, they are a tubular style and might save a few pounds.
