Don’t you just love that feeling of, “Am I doing this right?” when you start to feel that resistance on the last torque setting.
That's how you know you're doing it right. It's when you don't stop to ask that question that bolt heads snap.
Keep them coming!!!
That book or guide that you use to build the D series where all the information is, where can I find it?
Just curios why are you using a d16z6 intake manifold if the engine is a d16y8? I had the y8 in the day and it had the bigger bubble look. Is there an advantage to the z6 manifold?
What radiator are you using, is that originally for Prelude or Accord?
What torque pattern did you use? I have seen a few different torque patterns
Ok ok i see you bud good job
What distributor are you using? And what harness
I have a question. Is a z6 head better for turbo than y8? And why
Did you resurface the block deck?
I know this is an old video so your probably did, but i got scared when u just slapped tha camgear on without showing us you setting the timing :D
Are you going to get it tune?... Upgrade the exhaust manifold
Yeah, I think that’d be real cool to do. So long as the engine lasts the next few track days. You haven’t seen in a video yet but I do upgrade the exhaust manifold as well as the whole exhaust system in a coming episode
I’m curious how much was the head. I live in the Orlando area

Contact them for any pricing please.
i could tell from video, but i did not see any alignment dowels for the head, didnt see it on the block either.
NOOO IM DYING HERE.. NO extension when you torque. You have to go back and re-torque with out the extension please.👍
DUDE what do you mean? don't torque with an extension ? why, reason for it guy ? let the other dudes more info about it..
@@krazy_lobito4335 when you add a extension it changes the final torque numbers so that means he might be at 53 instead of 60 how he wanted it to be. They did a great job looks great from here just no extension when you torque.
Krazy_Lobito the extension will flex and lose torque being applied
wrong look up "Torque Wrench Myth"
first !!!
Oh no you put the head gasket on upside down the solid rubber side faces the block
Even though your comment was made 9 months ago, to prevent the spread of dis-information to future viewers I will say that your statement is incorrect. The solid "rubber" (viton) side actually should face the head surface as it is also stamped to be raised on this side of the fire ring and oil ports so that it "crushes" properly. The side in which you see all four fire rings touching each other and bare metal should face down towards the block on this MLS gasket.
upside down DOOOOOOOGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!
you guys should go H series on the EG hatch.. . you are limiting yourself with D series, unless you go turbo or super.
Yeah, hopefully someday they would like to build a Turbo D series on the EG or EK
You guys haven’t been watching them that long...they use their cars for track and care about PR not big power. These guys are pure enthusiasts.
Free Shavacado Big Power? it's like going turbo or N/A doing 300HP + .. stock H or K or even B it's a better way doing 180hp-225HP. it's reasonable and stock, D series it's a good setup but limited/holds u down/ don't let u get out from the hole, I don't know if u understand, it's like a eating a soup with a tea spoon or like eating steak with a butter knife. Yes PR, Personal Record so how do you improve ur PR ? by getting there faster
ALUMINUM FACE DOWN ALL WAS
