I own a 2019 Honda Accord Hybrid Touring and yes it feels luxurious compared to the Camry but I must say I'm considering a Camry now after 2 years of ownership. Issues I faced: 1. Rattle/hesitation Noise when the engine kicks on, stay for a few seconds and very noticeable on low RPMS. Couldn't pin point it but similar owners suggest the hybrid generators (clutch hesitates to distribute power from Engine and Hybrid Engine) 2. Active noise cancelling module/mic failure, causes rumbling noise coming from speakers on 40-50mph speeds. Can get very loud and disturbing. My car is out of warranty so I wont go down the route of finding the fix. I just unplugged the ANC module. 3.MPG is not the same as It was when I first got the car, was getting 44-48 now barely at 37. Even though I'm doing oil changes every 3-4k miles and keeping it OEM in terms of parts. 4.Infotainment system can get buggy in hot days. Apple car play randomly disconnects every now and then. Sometimes just the audio disconnects. 5.The car is longer in dimensions compared to the Camry f.e. It makes turns and parking spots a bit of a hassle.

That's whats great about Standard Hybrids. They are self-charging and don't require outside energy source for charging like the Plug- in Hybrids and EV's do

No way would I buy a used hybrid or EV. Hell, even most ICE vehicles aren't worth buying used due to the way most people drive/maintain their vehicles & the rampant fraud in that market in-general on top of that.
Ridiculous comment. Buying new is the dumbest purchase people make. Taking roughly a 20 depreciation cost in th and first week. If you have a good mechanic and you're minimally street smart, you'll be fine buying used.
I bought a Used 14 Prius with 97k miles. It's now at 247k miles. Aside from oil, brakes and tires I had to get the fuel pump and 3 ignition coils replaced. Still driving great today tho averaging 40-50 mpg. My battery is still working fine. We'll see how many more miles i can get. I'd say I got my moneys worth
Yeah but that's not with EVs or hybrid specifically. The issues you're talking about come with literally every car and people who don't respect the machine.
How are they in trouble? There are literally no alternatives in the long run. Buying a combustion engine only car with a fuel consumption of more than 7l/100 km will be your ruin in the long run.
Curious what you've seen on the Hyundai Ioniq, the discontinued hybrid version, as used option. Really appreciate the style/format of your videos btw.
Honda and Toyota are still the best in the market!

Exactly. Don’t buy anything else. Mazda is also a good brand. Made in Japan.
Lexus ES 300h is another good one and is priced just a little higher than some of the cars mentioned.

so what are you thinking to buy now i thought hybird saves some gas since all electric are not cheap to buy
I want a 50mpg+ with better ground clearance...cars on the ground doesn't make sense bc weather and road conditions suck

the honda insight was like this. sad they discontinued it tho
@@sampsonleevon1982 Ground clearance ... It's nice, but reduces the aerodynamics. I would love to see a vehicle with variable ground clearance.
What about the Honda CRV HYBRID?
Great content thank you ! First time buyer and this list had all of the cars i was looking at
Great Content, Exactly what I am looking for. Thank you!
The only Hybrid I'd ever buy used would be a Toyota, due to their great warranty.

No love for the Ford C-Max hybrid? Compact but spacious interior, of headroom and dynamic driving compared to similar model.
Find one at quotes.everymandriver.com !
I hate the Ford c max. I drive one for work. Awful.
Can't wait for 2030 when all those vehicles are trying to charge using the US electrical grid. Gonna be great to lower traffic.
they will delay it like they did with the incandescent light bulb ban
That's whats great about Standard Hybrids. They are self-charging and don't require outside energy source for charging like the Plug- in Hybrids and EV's do
You must one of those people that thought that world will end Y2K or 2012 😂
Did you notice ‘hybrids’ use gas too… and most self charge as you drive?
10/10 thumbnail
Thank you.
good luck to our grid
these don't plug in. they are all gas cars with electric assist

I wouldn't even consider a new or used EV. What a travesty to this planet

And you will always be poor
Watch Chrisfix replace the entire battery on a Fiat, honestly after watching that I'm not very worried
This is clearly old content. EV’s are in trouble…
Old content?? LOL Hardly.
