I really thought the watch winding key was extraordinary; and then the button! Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water------A Liberty Cap. All of these things have been in that field for at least 200 years, and I am happy for you. Oh I forgot---I am Patrick's 33rd cousin and I will be coming for a vis--no? You face quite the conundrum if you need your hunting partners to leave before you can find a special item- maybe send them on a coffee run, find something great, then lunch run then? 😄 That dandy button was special and major Congrats for the Liberty Cap LC- that's the one that's eluded me for almost 33 years as well. Congrats to Patrick too for many excellent finds!

Wow ! You both did really well 👏so many of us in North America do not find 1700' s very often but you guys are sweeping them up and even some earlier stuff!!!.
Did you notice the M8 being lighter Stef ? Looks like it will swing around the stalks and brush good 😉🇨🇦
We’ve been fortunate with this spot in particular! Lots of 1600s finds have come out of here. The M8 was a little lighter, for sure. It was definitely pleasant to swing in the cornstalks!
Very cool finds on that hunt Stef. Ive been starting to look into the M8 coil, got to check out a few more videos on it vs the 11" before I make any decision.
Thank you! Worth looking into other videos on that, for sure. One of the better channels for that is Brass Medic - I know he’s got the coils but I do not know if he’s put out any content for a comparison between the M8 and M11 yet. I’ve honestly always preferred the stock coil on my Equinox over the other options, so I wonder how much I’ll be using the M8 and M15 versus the stock with the Manticore. Time will tell!
