The canister shot is so very cool, I can only imagine the rush of removing outer layers to find that hiding inside! Your Woods Hibernia was sweet, especially the reverse- fit nicely into your Ultimate Finds Box!

Now that I have a Manticore, I am dissecting your videos intensely for all your VDI numbers! Lol. I would love the Ultimate Finds Box! I've been collecting my treasures the past couple months and could use some more tools in my arsenal!

Your channels is the best! I need an Ultimate Finds Box! Love that canister shot! I found a blob of rust that I had no idea what is was and put it through electrolysis. Turned out to be a lock from a flintlock or percussion cap gun, but it was left facing? Turned out to be the left side lock from a double barrell shotgun. Went back later to the exact same spot and found a lock mainspring vise tool and other "tool shed" type items.
Always enjoy the videos. Love that Ultimate Finds Box. Detectorist here in Tennessee for over 52 years. Ever time my grand daughter visits, she usually gets another ring. LOL

Thank you! We rarely find them in New England - not much Civil War activity to speak of, so when we find a solid shot, it’s usually from the French and Indian War, Rev, or 1812. I watched Chigg’s video the other day where he cracked open dozens of canister shots - that would be addictive, it’s so satisfying! 😆
@@StefDigs It is a great find for your area for sure. I searched a number of forts out here in California and they are pretty rare here as well. You did well finding and keeping it. I’ve broken things from concretions in Florida waters and it is exciting to see what comes out. Good job… John

That iron ball could’ve also been shot from a blunderbuss. A single shot was between 1.5 to 2”. Excellent find!
