Fantastic video. I agree with another viewer that the "umph needed" was a little scary to me (I had to master this before seeing this vide) as there some delicate stuff in there. To be sure, it is a fantastic feature.

This is one of my favorite features of my NX 7. The straight stitch plate is perfect for piecing quilts. It also makes it easier to clean in the bobbin area.

Wonderful video JJ team! This video is going to help so many people. I have the NX7 and I will have to admit the first few times switching the plate out were scary because of the umph you have to apply when putting it back on being afraid to break it. This video is very clear on the umph needed and also points out those sensors giving clear awesome camera work and upclose visuals. I am so happy with my machine and now easily go back and forth between plates regularly. I did want to add a precursor to you step 1 would be to either put the machine in lock mode while on or do this while machine is off. If you don't at least on the nx7 the machine will not properly feed and you will wonder what happened. I learned that the hard way. lol Thanks again for the time you put into your videos to educate and help fellow Juki users! Have a blessed day! JMJ

I own the DX 4000. A really great decision that I do not regret. I sew mostly apparel. Some wishes for this machine that maybe you can address:
    1. There's no notifications for software updates. How often should we update?
    2. Tray table is hard to remove. Should be one easy, fluid tug. It's not. Rough to take off. A bit flimsy.
    3. More often than not thread nests on bobbin side when set for backstitch to tie off at beginning of a row.
Thank you for your great videos!

Omg! Why did I not watch this before I took off my plate!…have to admit, my first time taking it off was a lil scary….once I had it started with the tool, I really had to pop it up more?……long story short, I did not lower my feed dogs before I took it off….after 15 minutes of fussing, I came here, stopped video half way…and ta_daa, had to push down with thumbs on front and back.Whew!👍🏻😁

Minor question, why is the stitch plate that is able to other than straight stitches called the "Jelly Bean" plate?

Hi, I need your advice. Shall I choose Juki G110 or Juki 80HP-B?

Are you able to just buy 2 new prongs rather than replacing the whole stitch plate?

@@JukiJunkiesWhich Juki heavy duty sewing machine allows us to switch from Zigzag to straight stitching without the need to change the needle plates?😢😮😢

Isn't it too complicated to switch from Zigzag to straight stitching? It should be a much more easier operation for professional tailors and garment makers.😢😮😢😢
