    I was fortunate to pick up a Dx2000 about 3 months ago. It is my 3rd Juki, I am the happy owner of two TL machines as well. The DX2000 fills in the gaps of what my straight stitch cannot do, while still being portable if necessary. Love my Jukis!!

    Excitedly awaiting the delivery of my DX7! Ordered the DX5, the shop had a miscalculation in their stock, they upgraded me FOR FREE and no added cost to the DX7! Have been sewing on a very basic Brother CS6000i for about 3 years. Have been patiently biding my time until I was able to upgrade. Very excited to get my new Juki!

    I have the DX7 and love it. I make a lot of bags and it sews through the extra thickness of vinyl without difficulty. The stitch quality is great especially with glide thread.

    Awesome!!! Thank you for the comparison. I have the DX-7 and I love it. I haven't had it for very long and I was a little tempted to exchange it for the DX-2000 but after watching this I feel happy to just stick with my DX-7. Love it!! Now to go buy some thread and a couple new feet :) Have a wonderful week.

    I absolutely LOVE my DX7! Unfortunately, I haven't sewn as much over the past several years, but I am ramping back up now. I have to say that one of my favorite features are the knee lifter, the reason I bought the machine, as well as the programable foot petal.

    I've had the DX7 for a little while now and I don't know if I can give you my favorite feature. There's soo much to love! I can say I am surprised that I Love the knee lift as much as I do. I decided to put it on one day "just to see" and it's been there ever since! 💙

    Thanks for the reviews! I have a brother Dream creator which is also a embroidery machine. It`s an awesome sewing machine that sews perfect stitches. I only want to use it as a embroidery machine, so I was looking for a sewing machine that was powerful enough to stitch through thick layers of fabric. My Brother Project runway 320 sewing machine is good, but not for professional looking stitches and sewing through thick layers of fabric. Knowing people who have industrial grade Juki`s and watching reviews of this machine, I asked my husband to purchase the DX5 for my birthday. I wanted to see if this machine could go through the layers of fabric when I make small bags. When it arrived, I was not impressed with the needle threader! It is so flimsy that if I `am not careful, it will break. The plastic is flimsy and the buttons are are not solidly recessed. They move around as you lightly touch them. The embroidery patterns stitch out like in low end sewing machines. I was prepared to put it back in the box and send it back to Amazon! I decided to see what the machine could do. I have two embroidery machines and did not plain to use those patterns any way! I made four easter baskets line with interfacing felt and flex-foam. That DX5 stitched through the triple folded handle like butter and with perfect stitches. I was sold! It`s a solid machine. Its heavy! I did not experience any vibrations as I was sewing. The foot pedal reverse sewing feature is for me! I love my machine and enjoy creating things with it!

    Can you please answer these questions?
    Will the accessories (feet, extension table etc.) from the F series Machines work on all the DX models?
    I have a F machine, and I’m wondering about upgrading to a DX model, but I’ve already invested a lot on accessories for the F model machine, and was wondering if I could still use them if I bought a DX model.
    I know the DX model comes with quite a few accessories of its own, but I was wondering if I could still use the ones I have from the F model (I have a big collection and invested a lot of money on them)

    One thing that is odd about these machines compared to every other machine that has the same features; the sew/single stitch button here requires that the peddle be unplugged. No other machine from other brands has that requirement soooo, what gives?

    If buying online how do we get the machine serviced? Cleaning is a necessity yearly since it’s a computerized machine, is that right?

    • @JukiJunkies
      @JukiJunkies  2 года назад +1

      We recommend bringing your machine in to any sewing machine repair shop for service and cleanings yearly. Just make sure they're cable of working on your machine before hand :)

    Is the DX5 a metal machine or does it have a lot of plastic on the inside?

    • @JukiJunkies
      @JukiJunkies  Год назад +2

      Very strong plastic. It has lots of pros over metal, No oiling needed, lighter and still has a great warranty. We really love them :)

      @@JukiJunkies would you say the machine would last 20 years at least

    • @JukiJunkies
      @JukiJunkies  Год назад +1

      @@TGBTGAlways The machine will last over 15 years with proper maintenance. The stepper motors are metal and the drive motor is a belt. The only plastic piece really is the hook gear and the shell of the machine. Life expectancy isn't a problem with them :)
