How funny, you guys are just like me and Toni. She is constantly saying "We should get this for the RV!!" and I am constantly saying "Uhhhh that's going to add to the GVW!!!" Thanks for sharing the process of getting that door out.
😂😅😅 Girls will be girls, right! Thanks for watching! Safe travels and happy New Year!!🎊
Great video. Has me thinking about taking mine out of my Tiffin. I HATE the glass doors! You guys are a hoot! PS - I winter in Central FL as well. Hope we cross paths someday!
We just wanted to shed some weight, Pam said cleaning it was so hard to clean and we had seen other 5th wheel owners whose glass doors shattered in transit. We spent Jan in Tavares and really enjoyed that. We did a video on the area. Where in Central Fl do you go? Not sure where we will be next winter quite yet but if you ever see us be sure to stop and say hi. Thanks
I love the ending!! HAHAHA...Pam, it looks like you got him good!!!🤣🤣🤣
Haha. Did you not see the hand print on my face yesterday? JK.
Looks great and y'all had me laughing all the way through. 🤣
Yay! Mission accomplished! 😉 Thank you and thank you for watching! Safe travels!
I don't usually like the how to videos but this one was great! That's right Pam don't let him get away with talking to you like that! 🤣
When I first saw your thumbnail I couldn't help but think of National Lampoons European Vacation! Soooo funny!
Thank you! Haha yeah, he knows I’m charge around here! 😝 Ken will love that comparison! Thanks for watching guys! Stay safe and looking forward to seeing y’all again soon! Happy New Year! 🥳
LOL at the "Supervisor" comment! I'm with ya there pal! ;-) My puppies are ALWAYS telling me what to do, oh and Tina also!
😂 Well, we all know “happy wife, happy life”, right? 😉
Stay safe guys and looking forward to meeting you in Tampa! Happy New Year!
@@TheRoadSMITHS Not making it to Tampa, probably Hershey however.
@@RVWagginTails okay, hoping our roads cross soon!!
I'm with on the weight thing. Always wondering even after the scale run's. hahha Rock On RoadSmiths!!
Weight is always in the forefront! Thanks guys! Happy New Year! 🎊
Loved the video! We are going to do the same. We hate all the water spots plus it looks like there is more room this way.
Thank you and thanks so much for watching! Maybe if we had a water softener the glass wouldn’t spot so much, but it drove me crazy! There is definitely more room with them out! Safe travels!!
I loved the video...made us laugh out loud! However, I love my shower doors and now Bruce wants to take them off....trying to talk me into it.
Haha glad it accomplished our goal! 😆 You guys don’t have the “weight issue” we had so it’s not as much of an issue!
Thank you guys for watching! 😊 Happy New Year! Now to see about Topsail next year, right? 🤗
Love the intro! Great sense of humor you two😃 shower curtain choice is just my style👍and would like an update on whether you're having any issues with water getting out.
Thank you, Jenna! Ken is definitely the funnier one and he’s always coming up with quick and funny things to say!
Our liner has weights in the bottom and we have not had any problems with water escaping! We are going to add the water deflectors once we return after the New Year!
@@TheRoadSMITHS sounds like having the weights in the liner is key. Good to know. Enjoy your holiday🔆🎊
@@thetravelingbrowns Happy Holidays to you Jenna as well and thank you for your continued support!!
@@TheRoadSMITHS really enjoy watching your videos! You're absolutely worth it🙂
Great job! Now you got us thinking! I noticed the bidet also. How's that working out?
Thanks for watching. We thought about it for a while but definitely feels roomier now. The Bidet is awesome...we love it..in fact so much so, whenever we build or buy another sticks and bricks, we will install them as well. It really reduces the paper used.
Like the video, always a fan of the “how to’s”. What kind of toilet and bidet do you have. I tried to get a bidet for our thetford but it was a no go. Maybe just the wrong bidet.
Thanks for Watching. We have a Dometic 310 Toilet and the Bidet is. Lux Neo 120. the install was a bit tricky, not so much the placement but the plumbing. We needed a plumber to cut the line and use a shark bite adapter.
Great info. This is a project we are considering. Did you look at the Nautilus retractable shower door?
Thanks. We had put up a shower rod with shower curtains even before taking the doors out so we did not consider the nautilus doors. We had seen those on some travel trailers that we toured and did not seem like it would be a good solution. But we do not have real world experience with those to have a real life opinion.
After owning our motorhome for only a year, we decided we needed a new one-better floor plan and quality-Sure glad we didn’t alter it as we got a good trade in for it -I have heard it can really hurt if you alter the coach by buyers and dealers-Hope you saved the doors in case you ever want to get rid of the rig 🤷♀️🚌🇺🇸
Thank for watching. Yes we kept the doors and the frame and put in our storage facility from when we sold our house. We will reinstall when time to sell or upgrade.
Hey Ken, I need new shower doors for one of my bathrooms. Can you send them to me? Of course I'm kidding about sending them to me but I do need new doors.
Haha Diane, we would if we could for sure! Love you guys!! Happy New Year! 🎊
Great video. I was curious to know what the payload is on your truck (F-250 with the Duramax?) and what you think (or know) the pin weight is on your RV. We are looking at the 310RL and mating it with an F-350.
Thanks for watching. We have an F350 SRW with the 6.7 Powerstroke. The dry pin weight of the 310 is about 2500 pounds. Loaded as we are we are about 3200 Lbs. Our Truck payload is 3450 Lbs so we are probably now over a bit now. In 2021 Pam followed me in a a Mazda CX5 so she took herself, Meka our dog, and I would load my tools in her car that that relieved about 250 Lbs. With the price of gas on 2022 we left it in our condo in Bonita Springs Fl and it got flooded in Hurricane Ian so it was totaled. Are you going to full time or just short trips. We are mostly full time so we need to carry a lot.
When I was a full-time RV'ER in "I'm a Single Guy" phase of my RVing extravaganza. The women I dated was dictated on whether they'd fit in the shower!
I can see your next project all ready....
A "man's toilet" ..... the type of toilet man doesn't fear when it's minus 30 degrees outside and your doodads won't stick to the porcelain insides like a little boy's tongue to a flag pole in a Christmas Story scene!
Haha those are good guidelines to follow! Thanks for watching! Safe travels!
How are those splash guards holding up?
SO far they are holding up well. Of course the hardest part on the install was that these shower are not exactly square...so had to improvise with a bit of nano tape. Thanks for watching!!
😂😂😂😂😂
😝 Thanks for watching! 😊
