Update.... Mine arrived this evening. I was going to install it tomorrow but got impatient. 20 minutes later.....Done. This thing is QUALITY!!! Best purchase I ever made for my motorhome. It is much more attractive in person than it is in the video or intranet. This thing is 100% campsite bragging rights. Yes it's expensive. Yes it takes a few weeks to process the order. And YES... You need this in your life. I was skeptical, but now I have something beautiful to look at when I poop. Lol.
@@TallMansRVReviews Thank you so much. If it wasn't for this video, I never would have paid this much for a shower curtain. Now I know. Total bargain for the quality you get. I bet these would also look good in the bathrooms in my house.
I'm going to look into this!! One of my shower walls has a bow in it that pulls it away from the wall about 3/8". This would clamp the shower wall tight against the wall and also get rid of the sloppy curtain that came in our trailer.
Ordered mine 2.21.22 from RecPro. Said it should be delivered next week. Amazon said no idea when in stock again. I hated my shower curtain. Cant wait to install. Even in the snow... Thanks for the instructions. Every comment I read from people who purchased said it doesn't come with any. Not that it is rocket science. But still.
Thinking about putting one of these in my toy hauler. My shower is similar to the one you are.........performing in. Trying to decide if I should go full height to the ceiling (and fill the gap with caulking or stick to the height of the shower walls. Thoughts?
Is that the exact size of the "FULL" opening or is that the current size of the door you have on there now? If its the current door size. This one will work perfect. amzn.to/3lWbRPm
Thats a tough one. Most radius showers are used because of the lack of space. To get anything else in there would be tough. As far as the doors go, I am not sure I have ever seen another option for the enclosures other than the glass doors. :( If someone else out there in RV land has an option, please let us know. :)
I have white plugs along the shower that holds the shower wall to the camper. It appears this is the location were the vertical frame attaches to the shower wall. My question is can you put the rail over the plug ( they do stick out. They are not flat on the wall ) or if you have to remove them? Nothing would be holding the shower wall to the rv? Thank you for your help
Hey Wayne, that is a great question. To be honest, that would be better directed to the manufacturer, but I will do my best. I would say yes, the white plugs have to come out, but the pressure of the new shower door should hold it in place. Now, the other side of my brain says, no you can leave them because the adhesive foam will mold around it... So in conclusion I go back to my first statement. It would be best to send an email to the manufacturer of the door. Here is their email info@stoett.com Good luck Wayne :) Let us know how it turns out.
Uh..... don't quit the day job. Love this door though. We have the glass sliders and will just be a matter of time before we forget to lock it before moving.
I'm sorry to hear it currently is unavailable on Amazon. I checked myself and it says 3 to 5 week delivery time. It was not like that before so I am guessing it is a supply issue like so many others are having right now :( I'll look around and see if there is another type of retractable door for you, but if I find one, couldn't say if it was a good one or bad.
All the 2022 trailers we’ve been looking at in the past 2 weeks have those shower retractable doors… all of them are broken and don’t fully retract… We’re actually looking to install glass doors
Interesting. We have not seen that at all yet and we look at a lot of RV's (obviously) lol Either way, thanks for watching and good luck in the search :)
Yes, The extra elbow room in some RV showers would be nice, but now you have a shower curtain and potential water on the floor. Thanks for the option Campos. Always good to have options :)

Agreed. Great solution and upgrade.
OMG... Get this man some help. lol Great video guys. I will be putting this door in for sure.
Thats Awesome. You will absolutely love it. :)
I just did. Isn't it awesome?
@@bryanhatch6688 Its amazing. All RV's should have this shower enclosure.

I so want this for my vintage Rv! Great product
You will love it and super simple to install. I left a link in the description on where you can get it at the best price :)
Cindy, this thing will compliment any style. It's not a focal point, but it's a focal point. So we'll made and beautiful

Thoughts?
I would stick to the height of the shower walls myself.
I want this shower door! Thanks
Thanks Erik. There is a link in the description if you want to get the door :) Enjoy!!!

Hi! Thanks for al the tips on a shower door. The link however, says it couldnt find the product? Is there another link? Thanks in advance.

Do you have recommendations to upgrade a radius shower?

@@TallMansRVReviews , thank you for the quick reply. I love the Thor XG32. BUT, it has that radius shower, darn it!
You're welcome. :)
Yo Tall-Man! What kind of screws did you select for your modification?
To be honest, I cannot remember. I look at them and see if that will job the memory :)
Would this fit a 37 1/4” opening? I’m having a hard time finding something for our rv, everything I see is 36” opening.
@Mary Eilers This link will take you to a 48" door. Remember its retractable so as long as it covers your 37 1/2 you should be fine. amzn.to/3vPFcQV
There are several of these on the market and the look great, but how do you actually clean it?
Lisa uses just soap and water. Obviously you gently wash it. Also, we find it best to close the door after showers to let it dry.

yes it doesnt work

I understand 1000000%.
Why wait? An upgrade is an upgrade.
It is unavailable on Amazon and Stoett wants an Arm and Leg to ship to Canada. Do you know a Canada company?

True.. a Stromberg articulating shower bar is a better solution... Less expensive and increases elbow room significantly
