- In this video we share our review of the Nautilus Retractable Shower Door by Stoett Industries - ABC Marketing, INC. We live in our 2020 3855BR Keystone Montana full-time and we were looking for a solution to replace to heavy glass shower doors/tracks. We are very pleased to share our review of the Nautilus Retractable Shower door - after 8+ weeks of use we would definitely recommend this product. We share the installation process with you in this video - is it quick and easy (longest time is for caulk to dry!). Some key points we love about the Nautilus Retractable Shower Door are:
- It only weighs around 5lbs vs glass shower doors that can weigh up to 50lbs
- The door film has anti-microbial properties to eliminate the possibility of mold and/or smells.
- Inside the canister is a squeegee that wicks water off of the film as it retracts and drains it back into the tub via weep holes that are present on both ends of the canister. No more cleaning glass!
- No longer have a concern about the hook on the glass shower door coming undone and it sliding around while traveling down the road.
- The door is powder coated aluminum so rust will never be an issue.
- You have a much wider entry into the shower, approximately 90% vs a tri-slide glass that will limit it to around 60%

You sped through the important part of the install.
Having young kids, has anyone fallen into the door? How strong is that material? I have two boy and I can guarantee during hide and seek they're going to press into the door. Does it leave a dimple from impact?
Is it possible to open the shower door part way without it rolling back up? I've also read reviews stating there is only one handle on the outside. Have they put one on the inside yet? Is it hard to open from the inside?
Hey Lisa, you’re unable to open part way. As far as the inside handle goes, it doesn’t have one but it’s easy to open. I don’t think it needs on, we use full time and us as well as our 5 and 7 year old boys have no issue
