I love the top and the great demo!
I know knit/stretch garments usually don't have a lot of shaping, but do you think there's a limit where the stretch just won't make up for the flat pieces, and you do need to add a dart? And if so, how would that be handled without making things look peculiar?
My favourite way to tuck in the ends of a serged seam is to use a latch hook style loop turner, I find it a little easier than trying to thread a needle with the serge tail. Plus the loop turner is pretty useful on its own too!
