Sew Up Scraps into Simple Pattern Weights

Let's use up some of those little scraps and make pattern weights. This is a fast and easy project .

Love that this is a scraps buster and should have pretty much all the items on hand! My 16 yr old appreciated the fact that you didn't talk things to death and kept it 'short but sweet'. We're doing hybrid schooling (in person/at home) and we've been on the lookout for videos/items for her to make for her (at home) home ec class. I urge you to use something non edible for the filling like ground walnut shells. Rice can get weevils, absorb moisture, spoil etc.

Excellent suggestions. I know cherry pips are sometimes used in place of rice for microwave hot pads.
