Their songs just keep getting better, Tatiana is a world class growler and screamer her vocal range is insane. A Jinjer song is more like a thrill ride, never boring and you never know where it’s going to take you.

when you practice, make sure you mind how it feels. If you are hurting your chords you are doing it wrong. Tatiana said she would do the growels into a pillow so her parents wouldn't hear. She's completely self taught. It takes a lot of Breath passing , the sound should start in your chest before it even gets to your volcal chords. Breath control is the key to it.

If you want to hear another rare lead singer listen to Straight Line Stitch. It's an older band but Alexis Brown is a rock goddess. She's a black female that screams pretty heavily. Also there's Sevendust which is one of my favorite bands.

I would suggest the next video you check out is Perennial live ay Wacken, seems like the usual progression. however, i recently discovered the song scissors, its a waaay older one but it is a good one! their videos are always so interesting and fun, and Tati is a chameleon. she literally looks so different every video! its so fun and cool to watch.

It is just the tip of the iceberg. This little miracle of a band is not a one day fly. Their catalogue is very impressive. The vocaliste is probably the best in the business. A good growling tutorial is on The Fairy Voice Mother's reaction to Hypa Hypa by Electric Callboy, which she does with a friend and gives some very actionable tips that makes me feel like I could learn with just a bit of motivation. Whether as a reaction or not I suspect you'd enjoy seeing Melissa Bonny of Ad Infinitum, for example I Am The Storm or Marching On Versailles. Covers with other bands I'd recommend include Twilight Of The Thunder God with Rage Of Light (originally Amon Amarth), Ding with Feuerswanz (originally Seeed), Jenny of Oldstones from GoT with Dark Side Of The Moon.
You should read the lyrics - it's quite a harrowing story and very poetic. The use of clean and harsh vocals makes more sense when you see the two parts of the story. Tatiana is probably one of the best vocalists in metal music today, easily my stand-out pick. This track features the current drummer (he'd just joined the band when this video was made) being badass too. He's amazing. All four of them are top-notch musicians but they are also very adventurous with their musical choices - odd time signatures, strange chord structures, lots of groovy syncopation. Great band.

Tati (Tatiana) is an absolute vocal BEAST who lures you in like the mythological Sirens’ Song in the Odyssey, only to have her growls melt your face off like a nuclear blast. The musicians in Jinjer are just as talented - although Vlad (drums) is a classically trained pianist, he taught himself how to play drums in order to join Jinjer. Eugene (bass guitar) and Roman (lead guitar) are also self-taught on their respective instruments. The natural progression in the Jinjer Journey is to check out Perennial (2019). Most people go right to the live performance of it at Germany’s Wacken (pronounced Vah-Ken) Metal Music Festival; that said, I recommend checking out the Official Music Video with the studio recording first, and then the live concert video - that will give you a better idea of Tati’s insane vocal prowess and the entire band’s mad skillz both in the studio as well as onstage in front of tens of thousands of people. Teacher Teacher (OMV) is a must-see. As is Judgement and Prejudice (live recording session), which Tatiana nailed in one take.
