It’s way more lucrative to make recipes with the crops! I have a normal sized farm and like to make the veggie cupcakes, pumpkin soup, etc. I get like 63k every time, more if a recipe is the hot item of the day!

Too much effort. If i need bells in a short time i empty my pockets completely, get on my diving suit and go deep see hunting for creatures, i throw back all the creatures i know won't sell for much and keep the rarer more expensive ones and once my bags are full i then sell them. Deep sea creatures easily get you 300K in one session of hunting. Of course i also fish and bug hunt but for instant big money that dont require a Flick or CJ i love deep sea diving.

@@bluebosnian If you don't have Flick or CJ on your island but need bells fast the sea creatures go for the most. But shark season on average if you end up getting allot of whale and great white sharks along with other regular fish like the red snapper and clown fish will get you near 500K+ with CJ.
On average with Flick after storing around 50 bugs i get 70K, CJ for the same amount is around 150-200K and the deep sea creatures sell for 60-100k+ if you fill up your bags with them and only prioritize the creatures that would sell for most.

I wish we could actually play the arcade machines for mini games..... In a online social hub we used to go on all the time called PS3 Home years ago they had a bowling alley where people could play each other, and in a section of the room for the people who didn't care to bowl they had a mini arcade that actually worked, i loved playing their little games on there and they actually rewarded you based on the levels you completed.
Nintendo could do so much more to make the game more dynamic.

Neato, though personally selling gold rose wreaths/crowns is what I prefer to use to farm bells, each item sells 2X the worth of the stack of gold roses required to craft said item, and less space required to dedicate a part of your island for them. Only problem is you need to get lucky to get the desired recipe. (Man I wish they were the hot item of the day to get a bunch more bells that way)

I restarted my island and having the best time making bells by emptying my inventory at my house in storage, putting on my wet suit and then going out and filling my inventory with sea creatures to sell! The best part is... you arent using a tool that will constantly break on you!
I also keep a chart up with a list of the creatures with sell prices and will tend to go back and replace the cheaper creatures caught once my inventory is full with the creatures that are atleast 1k+ bells each.
Easy 30k-50k depending on how much inventory you have unlocked.

I recently started playing again, and had no clue about most of the updates, including the new veggies. I needed some bells for a quick little jump start and asked a few friends if i could sell their fruits and what not. One friend said yes and invited me to their island. Not unusual, right? Well when i got there more than 50% of their island was covered in veggies. They told me I could take or sell whatever as long as I watered them, and even provided more watering cans than I had ever seen. I made plenty of bells thats for sure.

I learned something today DID U KNOW you can keep talking to villagers like 3-5times in a row and one of them will eventually have a task for you that will go towards the smile isle goal? It was the one nook mile achievement I was really struggling with but apparently theres always at least one you can force! It’s either visiting their home, delivering something, returning a borrowed item, catching a specific kind of bug or fish (eg sea, river, flower, tree stump). Just talk to each villager 3-5 times in a row, if they haven’t asked for something after five times it ain’t them, move on. I had NO idea I’m speedrunning now

I haven't played for a long time, but I made several million by planting 200+ flowers of all varieties near my house and patches of 50 to 100 flowers around the island- to CATCH butterflies and bugs. At times there are multiple butterflies and bugs worth 1-5k every minute or so just flying around or sitting on flowers(you can walk out of shot for some regeneration). You can make 10k/bells in 60 seconds at times. I found that certain flowers/flower colours attract the most valuable buggs.
The best thing is, you can just play the game as normal without game-hating grinding, just walk slow when approacthing one of your large flowerbeds and there's usually money for a few seconds work...and then go visit Peggy pig. Make sure you have lots of nets on hand and note the system is not as effective at night as there's only bugs.

I mean the truly easiest way to get bells is to just go to a treasure island and sell their turnips. Boom, maxed out in less than 20mins. Technically doesn't break the time traveling rules people have too. Just depends on if you view bell collecting as part of the "animal crossing experience" or not.

B/G roses are up in 2, no watering needed, and if you find the blue rose wreath or crown, you double their value. Taking it from 500 gold per day per tile, to 1000g per day per tile. Its time consuming to get your first blue rose but once you buuld up those hybrid reds and have both the mass of hybrid reds and the blues cloning or crossing with eachother. You can easily get hundreds of them.

I have six 3x3 squares of crops all in one place, so it takes less than 30 seconds to water them daily. They net me about 52k every two days iirc, and that's really all I've ever needed. I've already bought or catalogued most of the things I want at this point, so 25k a day plus money rock and bell tree gives me plenty to work with, it adds up fast. I just dropped 800k on a throne today and didn't think twice. Of course, it depends on how you play, but if you're a little bit patient you can pretty comfortably buy whatever you want with almost no effort.

I also regularly harvest my gold roses and have other smaller money-making tactics which work okayish. I’m not rolling in bells, but I’d rather take it easy and enjoy a more relaxed gaming experience rather than stressing myself out trying to make a fortune and fill my island with money-making strategies.

Wait, so if they don't grow on the beach, then they don't grow back either after moving them to the beach and picking them, right?

tbh I always forget to buy turnips & especially in the early stages of the game, my farm was a real life (bell?) saver. if I watered every day, that‘s about 4 trips to the store à ~100k bells, so even if I water them only once I can usually pay immediately for any building projects that Lloyd wants money for. also watering during harvesting turned out to be a real time saver and I‘m less annoyed by it!

The best way is either the easiest or fastest, and sometimes the easiest or fastest isn't always the best way.

if you make stuff with the crops, it will sell more. Also the villagers like the cooked items.

Do turning these crops into food items make the price to go up? 🤔 Or at least the value per crop?

This is a great way to make some bells! But here's my question.. Where do you plant all of these crops? And where are all of the villager homes, Nook's, etc? Also, thank you for making me want to plant all of the crops that I can get my ACNH fingerless hands on 😆😂

I just like my 6 by seven squares of each crop plus a huge pumpkin patch, easy way to get a couple hundred thousand bells

Waste of time! The best way to make bells for me is save them to begin with for a rainy day, like if you have multiple accounts whenever you do go on each of them for the day you look for the money hole and add 10K bells and plant them in money orchards for later when you think you'll need them.
Once in a while you empty your inventory leaving either 3 of your bug nets or fishing poles and run around your island first starting with bugs and catch every rare bug you see, then river fishing, then beach fishing, you save all the rare and expensive fish and chuck all the cheap common ones. With all 3 bugs, river fish, and ocean fish you only stop each once your bags are full of only bugs, fresh water fish, and salt water fish, so it's a 3 way trip. You set them aside and wait for both Flick and CJ to eventually visit your island! Once you're done with bug hunting and fishing then the big bells, deep sea diving! Same deal, you empty your pockets and go diving, only keep the creatures you know will sell for allot, like sweet shrimp, they don't look like much but they do sell for allot. Also deep sea diving gets you far far far more bells than both fishing and bug catching when you sell them at nooks.
My method sounds tedious but you get allot more out of it than wasting your time asking people for turnip prices and spending days or hrs time traveling farming. You still get to play your game and spend maybe an hr or 2 just playing the game as intended by fishing, bug catching, and deep sea diving. It's also fun while you make allot of bells. On average with bug hunting after gathering up all the bugs i caught for a week or so playing the game once i give them to Flick i typically get back around 130K bells, with the fish and CJ i get around 200 to 300K bells but around shark season it's easily 500K, it all depends on how rare the creatures are that you have in your stock. As for deep sea diving, they right off the bat sell for around 200 to 300K and that's allot since you dont need a Flick or CJ to give you those funds for deep sea creatures.
If you like playing the game and treat it casually, that's the best way to make bells.
