One bell generator that tops turnips, by a wide margin: Turn on Bell Boom ordinance. Get the "pile of cash" DIY recipe. Wait for that to be a spotlight item. Repeatedly craft your bells into piles of cash and sell them for more bells than you started with, until you're satisfied. I haven't been able to find a way to generate bells faster than this method, in terms of real time spent. Unfortunately, to do this you have to get the pile of cash DIY recipe. The time it takes to do that can vary considerably thanks to RNG. The same can be said for blue rose DIY recipes though, and piles of cash are far more effective. Piles of cash are also much easier to get the DIY recipe for if you change the villagers in your town, unlike flower wreath DIYs, whose odds are independent of villager type.

What a nightmare that would be on your island. I’ll stick with cutting one tree down every day to replant in the same spot. I stagger them because I prefer a green tree group.

I'm currently in the middle of an experiment to see whether you're more likely to get 90,000 bells when you plant 30,000, IF you do it on a day when you have the "good" money fortune from Katrina. (30,000 because you won't lose bells, just break even or get the 90,000) In order to get a big enough statistical universe I'm doing it 100 times. It's taking months, NGL, because I don't time travel, and because Katrina's fortunes are maddeningly random.

I like to try to fill my island with as many peach trees I can because they are not my native fruit and you can get a few bells from it and if you time travel 5-7 days you can keep picking and selling the fruits and eventually you can get tons of bells

What I did was make 3 more accounts and then login on each one to dig up their money tree holes, plant 4 money trees total. Teleport to tomorrow, another 4 trees. Teleport back to today, get another 4 trees. Only downside is when you teleport back, the trees you had already planted don't grow. They only grow when time moves forward. Edit: when previous trees have fully grown I chop them down and plant the 4 new trees in their stead to save up space.

Maybe you could try crafting high value items for maximum bells. I just build a few stone kitchens when I have too many materials. There’re 30,000 a pop regular. If you had them as a high value you could make a good bit.
I remember I duplicated 50 million bells with of 50 inch lcd tv before it was patched. I bought a switch led and started a new island fresh and made a crap ton of bells through exploiting the duplication glitch. Sadly, had to update game so I can start unlocking new features. 😅
You could have just cut the trees down when counting to avoid the glitching. But that would require the space around them to be open for the bells to land. Also was that a second person helping you, or was it that glitched out that it was your after image and current self on screen at the same time?
daily net income of +21000 bells. find a hole, get 1000 bells, bury 10000, get 30000 a few days later. i have my trees on rotation PERFECTLY where i have a fully grown money tree every day and its awesome!
I have near 5 million bells. I don’t really need to keep making money I just collect fossils each day put them away and at the end of the month sell them all and it replenishes what I spend.
I hope nintendo's next console is just a more powerful switch that has backwards compatibility with all switch games so I can keep playing the games we've already purchased and have less performance issues; then maybe we wouldn't have issues with object popping in and out of existence.
I think Nintendo fked up with ACNH. The game should’ve got updates every now and then just like other chill/relax games. Free and $$ DLCs. If you compare this game to other similar video games like The Sims 4 who still receive updates and DLC even tho the game is almost 9 years old… It could’ve been really nice to get like kits or packs of items, more expansions etc Btw sorry for my English 🥲

Pro tip, every player on the island gets their own money tree. That means you can get 8 money trees per day. Less time traveling.

Blue or Gold Rose farms are great for making bells IF you have the Wreath Recipes for them
