He missed the parts where the Dragonborn spends 45 minutes trying to figure out how to open the puzzle door and another 20 minutes of enraged screaming after learning the combination is on the back of the key.

I just wanted to see Dovahkiin casually punch Nazeem in the jaw at some point while walking through Whiterun. Not complaining that it didn’t happen, just could’ve been funny.

I just murdered him in the drunken huntsman, his wife acted sad and the citizens mentioned a friend dying, I thought it would be better for everyone
How sad that this project was abandoned and Yong will never complete it. It was a good interpretation of the Skyrim story.
I unsubbed after the channel turned from creating content into a platform for complaining, but I still come back here to remember the Yong we once knew.

As a hardcore Skyrim player, I would have to say this is very well done, i like the extra back story you gave to the Dovahkiin. I also like how you incorporated the vanilla start of the game, I appreciate the additional views, such as the scenes where you pan over the butchers block, or the outside of the carriages going down the hill. This is much more dramatic than the games vanilla. The extra footage of Alduins destruction of Helgen is much more in depth.

I'll be damned if this isn't the best movie i've seen all year. The story itself is exactly what an elder scrolls V fan would expect, but what really puts it over is the artistry with which it was displayed, i was especially impressed with the camera work (such dramatic transitions and angles!). I applaud you creator of this film, good show indeed

Wow, this came out near 6 years ago, how come I've never seen this? I've seen a few people telling the story through the dragonborn's p.o.v but never using this sort of animation to tell it.
btw those who are saying that there are parts missing that should have been in the clip, maybe you should think about how much time and effort it had taken for him to make this video.

Plus something’s are just better left out so the video won’t get too long. Like in the caves with the spiders and the bear, and the imperial soldiers they fought, that would just make the whole escape from Helen be probably the longest part of the video. Besides, the fight with the draugr in bleak falls barrow was longer than it normally would take. In real gameplay you’d take him out in a minute, in the video it was much longer than that and made it look much more dramatic than in real gameplay.
57:00 this part is not game accurate because you're not harassing the Jarl so he can say "Not now!" over and over again.

Even after all of these years later this is still the best interpretation of Skyrim's story ever I hope if not Yongyea, someone will be willing to make act 3 one day. And hopefully do versions of the DLC, side stories and possibly Quest Mods.
I can as long as somebody gives me a mod list of things I need to make a cinematic and I may also do one for my own playthrough in terms of voic tho I don’t know if I can do anything about that

Ya know, I always HATED starting a new character in Skyrim and play that stupid long as crap intro. I have memorized every single line. In fact, I could perform the whole thing in front of a crowd if I needed to. I HATED IT.
Right now I'm almost in tears because of how sad and emotional the intro actually is supposed to be, and this fan-movie portrays is perfectly. I never thought I'd say this, but I almost want to play Skyrim again just for the intro.

there is overhaul for the intro mod which added a tons of cut content

I like a lot of the little things you added. Small tweaks like Lokir getting hit by two arrows, and on the back, rather than one in the foot. You also made that first Fus Ro Dah feel and sound super impactful. I love the way you depicted Draugr, the Dovahkiin's voice fits nicely. When you gave the Dovahkiin the armour he's depicted in, in all the promotional material, I was happy. It fits, with how he gets it as well. The fight on the tower felt way more epic, than the in-game battle =D. Really sells how powerful, Dragons are supposed to be.

If you run up to Alduin before he kills the man, he just flies away and the kid's dad lives. You have to run up to his head tho

...Wow, man. Just...wow. This was incredible. The prologue of the story, the way you cut the music, those breathtaking scenic shots, and the way you worked the camera and just...everything. You've managed to capture the magic of the Elder Scrolls franchise that some players have been struggling to find within the game itself. I'm eagerly awaiting the next two acts of the story. VERY GOOD WORK! Really intelligent way of transitioning the story, the dialogues, and the visuals from.the gameplay we're all used to, and thense into a third-person, cinematic movie-style drama.

This is awesome! I didn't expect it to be this good when I started watching it. As a dedicated Skyrim player I must confess this video is extremely well made. Especially the camera angles were very cinematic! Well done!
Yong... I want to tell you that this is one of my favorite movies. And also that I can't help but imagining how many HUNDREDS (maybe thousands?) of hours it took to put each shot together. You have a fan for life in me! Absolutely FANTASTIC! And one more thing... PLEASE complete the project, I BEG YOU!
This was amazing. It was exellently paced as well. The draugr at the end was like a stronger mook that served as more of a challenge before the big fight with a dragon. The Dragonborns lines were great as well and added to his character and the beginning was very original, and the sequel hook was perfect. I can't wait for act two, and I'll be interested to see where that ends.
