Ford Dealer STUNS Truck Buyers, Toyota Can't Do This!

- Ford Dealerships have so much Ford F150 and F250 Super Duty inventory yet truck prices remain crazy high. The same can't be said about Toyota. They are still struggling to keep Tundras, Tacomas and 4 runners. The truck market collapse is warming up and it seems like dealers still have a huge grip on the high prices, limited discounts and random markups over MSRP. After weeks of making videos about Ford dealers and their crazy trucks prices, I think I finally found a dealerships that blows them all away. You'll never see prices like this at a Toyota dealer.
Don't forget to hit that like button and subscribe to the channel.

$140k for a Ford truck. People have lost their minds.
For a Ford anything.
For any vehicle for that matter. It's all bananas the cost of new vehicles anywhere not to mention financing costs🍌
Yes, they have lost their mind and customers.
Hillbillies gotta Hill!
Fuck yea they have......there's not a 140,000 of truck there I'd hate to see what a f 350 goes for
Nope, let ford sit on the trucks until they decide to sell them at a reasonable price.
Facts
How 'bout I let those 2022 models sit for another year so they can depreciate, then buy one of them at half price?
@@protorhinocerator142 yep
Did that in 2013 on a 2012 expedition, as the 2014s started coming in 25000 off
You mean the stearlerships
And we're almost halfway through the year. I'd LOVE to see the actual numbers of all full size Ford pickups (2 and 4 dr) sold nationwide from Jan 1 to June 30 versus what Ford WANTED them to sell. I know the numbers are making their accountants cry, LMAO...
I will not spend $50,000 for a pickup truck! I just won't do it!
Cool. Don’t do it. Just buy a Corolla.
@@mycarkilledu9034 he wont buy. You have a problem with that??
In Canada we’ve been used to $50,000 pickups for a long time. My ‘09 F150 FX4 cost me $55K all in back then. What is insane now is new 1/2 ton trucks here are anywhere up to the $100k range which means a choice of either financing in mortgage like lengths or payments in the $1500 a month range. A truck will never be worth that kind of money to me.
@@squangan they began turning trucks in the more luxury vehicles, and younger Generations are glorifying them for different reasons. Here in America we have had some models that are over 50,000. I spent Ali refuse to buy it. I will never pay that much money for a pickup truck.
I recently looked at a 2013 Dodge Ram 1500, and they were asking almost 25,000 with it at 90,000 miles. After everything was said and done it comes out to nearly $30,000 for a 10 year old truck with nearly 100,000 miles on it. That is insane
@@jmmywyf4lyf Here is the definition of insane. A local dealer here is advertising a 2018 Dodge 3500 diesel dually with 250,000 km (150,000 miles) on it. The truck has severe body damage as it looks like a big tree may have fallen across the cab and box.. It is being advertised at $56,000 plus taxes and fees and the body damage is the buyers responsibility to repair. It is completely beyond belief that a dealer can even consider that kind of money for a 5 year old half ruined truck.
Please keep making these videos. These dealers (and manufacturers ) need to be exposed. It's a free country...they are free to sell only expensive models and gouge us with outrageous prices...and we are free to remember how they screwed their loyal base customers
It's been exposed! It's every company's new business model...to drive fear with low inventories, gouge as long as possible and prevent prices from falling. Overpricing might make people walk away but just long enough to overpay somewhere else. Consumers keep justifying themselves to spend money in this market. The sooner they stop spending, the sooner we'll go back to competitive pricing. This isn't possible so normal pre-covid pricing wont return. There are too many people willing to pay more than you to remedy their first world problems. Even a 10% off MSRP ad will get suckers to buy bc they believe it's a discount and have FOMO. Aside from that consumer problem, CEOs will also be inventing new ways to keep the market propped up, even raise prices, as long as they can, until you don't have a choice.
100%
Spot on.
Yeah and not buy their shit anymore because the 100k + truck they charged us for won't last 100k miles before it needs to go to the shop honestly customizing is a great idea if you know what needs to be replaced
You really should do so because the production line won't
He makes four minutes of video and the other four minutes he just walks around making promises of what's going to be in that other four minutes.
How about you get a job
There's no possible way that I will spend 51,000 on a truck that doesn't even have a V8!
Then don’t buy a new truck.
@@mycarkilledu9034 He's not going to. Same as a bunch of other people.
Why is that a problem for you?
The ecoboost is a solid performer. Not decided hat whether they will outlast a V8, small higher strung engine works hard to get the power.
If you haven’t been in one…get a test drive. Those little turbo engines are violent!

If the auto makers would make a truck for the working people That's under $30,000 msrp that would sell like hot cakes
Yes sir Mr josh, they make hipster trucks a bunch of electrical add on Crap and gimmick junk, roll on a job site or farm, or whatever you do for a living, and green hair city boy truck falls apart. Build a working man's or woman's truck and customers will line up to buy them.
It's already been produced since last year, it's called the Maverick. My videos show this truck in hybrid and turbo AWD versions.
@@fordmaverickmaniacthat is not a truck is a CUV they superglued a short bed to
@gearshiv The Mav bed is only 6" shorter than the new Ranger. Payload is not much less but the price is a lot less. Whenever I need more "bed", I will use a utility trailer, high rack, or a hitch mounted cargo carrier.
My Maverick turbo AWD with 250hp, 4k tow and lux upgrades like heated seats only cost msrp $30,710.
@@fordmaverickmaniac You pretty much just described my old crown Vic
Last time I bought an F250 4x4 I bought it used for around $15,000 and it only had around 20,000 miles on it. No way would I pay more for a truck than I did for my house.
In my crazy state, a 30-year-old house withOUT a garage, a cracked driveway, a backyard that offers ZERO privacy for even a dog, a popcorn ceiling from the 1970s, ancient slider bar thermostat and total of UNDER 950 sq ft of living space is a whopping $145-185,000. I cannot afford a house at those prices. I know I will already have to spend way over $10K in repairs to make it comfortable. Remember, you get NO garage either. The cheapest one with any garage is a wallet-bursting $181,000! In Texas, it can hit 110 in August and that's very hard on your car's paint. It will eventually peel off if the brand doesn't have very high quality paint. Oh, and it does expose your car to theft and burglary. I have only one car and cannot afford to lose it.
I completely understand. When I bought my house a little over 30 years ago it still had an outhouse (in the city) and no indoor bathroom. The house was built in the 1920's and was only about 800 square feet. Gravel driveway, no garage and I ended up gutting it and putting about $30,000 into it to make it livable.
I looked up what my 2011 f150 would cost to replace. A 2023 f150 is about 80 grand after taxes. For a mid level lariat trim. That's INSANE that a basically average, mid level trim, half ton truck is 80 grand
That's why I'm hanging on to my 2004 FX4. Even with the garbage engine it's better to keep this one going than dish out $20,000 for a 10 yr old vehicle or $35,000 for a 5 yr old. (that's cdn. byw).
Yeah, I'm trying to find a tow vehicle. Nothing new, around 100k miles. Used vehicles, 5+ years old are pulling 5-10k under the original msrp. Its nuts.
They want you to pay an additional 20-40k over what the truck is worth nowadays for a bunch of BS options working men have no use for.
@@InternetUser._ Yeah like a 20" touch screen that you have to tap to go into 2 sub menus and tap 12x to turn the radio down or the heater up.
My 1994 Toyota truck would be pretty expensive to replace too. But I just keep maintaining it and driving it. I wouldn't trade it for a brand new truck if it were offered.
If I had $140K I'd buy rental property, not a truck
if you had 100 rental properties youd probably buy that truck it aint made for you 🤦
It would be a cold day in hell before I pay over $50k for a short bed half ton pickup with a four banger in it.
Still no truck ever should be over 40,000
Exactly!!!!
Enjoy buying 5-10 year old trucks.
@@mycarkilledu9034 thank you i will. Used is a good option if you research correctly
Heavy duty trucks for towing are more than that -- but yes, I thought paying 43k for my Tacoma 4x4 Off Road trim was high even if 800/month payment is less than 10% of monthly take home. However, I'm driving my taco until the wheels fall off--so hopefully 20 yrs.
What’s really messed up is they ship these trucks overseas and sell them for half or just under half the sale price that they sell them for here in the US. When I was stationed in Japan we went to the Philippines for training and the same new 2001 Expedition that was being sold on Kadena Air Base for $45,000 was being sold in the Philippines for $27,000. When I got back I asked the salesman at the USO why there was such a price difference and she replied, “ the economy” in the Philippines made less income.
I just commented on this issue on another channel. Rather than cut and past it, I'll just sum it up by saying my effort to buy a Ford Maverick last January was derailed when Stevens Ford in Suffolk County NY, not only refused to allow me to test drive the Maverick that I ACTUALLY WENT there to purchase (I even made an appointment) they also boldly declared that they are "going to have to ask at least $5000 over sticker price" because the truck is so popular. So I promptly drove up the block to Nessenger Chevrolet and bought a Colorado for 2k under sticker price that same day.
And no, I didn't get any money to say this. I just think a good dealer should be recognized and a shady dealer should be shamed.
And you got a truck in the next class up equal to the Ranger
I work at a Toyota supplier. We are making 840 transmissions a day for the Tacoma and the Sequoia. They told us to get ready for overtime last week, the production will be going up.
Your dealer crawls are always interesting - have you considered overlapping that with industry sales data? There is a huge swing in MSRP going from anything mid size to anything full size. Part of the huge bump in MSRP is the manufacturers getting in on the market adjustments the dealers were doing - and many dealers didn't let the boost in MSRP slow down the dealer appetite for addendum stickers. The market place has been damaged by a weird situation that artificially restricted vehicle availability. Even though the reasons for limited inventory are being worked out, many manufacturers and dealers decided that they liked the business model of large profit on small production numbers. My guess is that when the music fully stops, that many of today's leaders will become tomorrow's losers. I think it will get real ugly and include some seismic industry shifts and possible exits.
As much as I think manufacturers like Ford and Dodge are garbage these days, I would hate for them to go because we all know competition is only a good thing for consumers.
Toyota isn’t struggling to produce vehicles. They’re holding vehicles back to keep prices at MSRP. Other manufacturers have zero issues getting vehicles to dealer lots.
The Japanese are a superior car building race. American greed has destroyed car liability and practicality.
I will only buy Japanese vehicles. American companies are all criminals ✌️
It helps not to struggle when you don’t make a real popular vehicle
Exactly, Toyota is creating a shortage to artificially inflate prices. The Toyota fanboys are their suckered. BTW, I drive a Toyota, but I'm not infatuated with them enough to get screwed.
@@carbonking53same. I shopped Toyota and couldn't find one at all or couldn't find one at a decent price. I ended up buying a 2023 Frontier.
I love trucks and finally at a point in my life where I can afford a 100K truck with no problem but having said that I’m not gonna pay that and will wait for the right time. It’s insane the average auto payment is over $700.
If you got the money you should be able to dictate terms. I'm ruthless with dealers. My goal is to get the car for free, and I base success on how close I can come to that.
I never go in with the attitude of "giving the dealer a fair profit". Screw that.
The last time I bought my wife a new car I told him what I was willing to pay. He laughed at me. He said, "We have more in this car than that amount."
I immediately asked him if he was going to value my trade-in for how much I put in it. No? Then why should I give a CRAP about how much you have in this car?
It was a used Toyota Highlander with low miles. They wanted $22K. I told them I would pay $15K and that's after tax, tags, dealer prep and all that.
He just kept laughing at me.
Eventually he made the fatal mistake of saying, "There's no way my floor manager would EVER agree to that price."
I told him, "You already got my contact info. If you can talk him down to $15K give me a call." And then I left the confused Pikachu face goofball there.
I got home and my wife said, "You bought it? Where's my car?"
I said, "No I'm still haggling. I think he'll come down."
She said, "YOU'RE GOING TO SCREW AROUND LIKE THIS AND SOMEONE ELSE WILL GET MY CAR!"
I said, "That exact outburst is why I didn't bring you there. Never let them know you already fell in love with the car. The price just went back up."
(three days later)
Dealer: "Hi. Um... you still want that care?"
Me: "I dunno. I was going to go shopping somewhere else this weekend..."
I got it for $15,008 tax tag and everything. I consider that a win.
My wife all of a sudden thought I was a complete genius.
She was right of course.
My favorite is when the salesperson plays the sob story of "we have to keep the lights on" or "coronavirus was hard on us". Bitch it was hard on everyone, and that was almost 2 years ago. Get over yourselves.@@protorhinocerator142

These dealers must think they are dealing drugs that people can't do without.
They are. The American mindset of having to show off "wealth" and keeping up with the Joneses mind as well be a drug.
In January of 21. Things were just getting crazy. Bout a crew max tundra 4x4 limited 49500 out the door. 2 years later they are 60 plus.
Toyota and Nissan full sized trucks are just as expensive. It’s a combination of government mandates on all of these fancy cameras and computer sensors, along with the prices of the components and raw materials tripling in price .Then throw in the exorbitant freight prices . The result is that they are (/expensive and are going to stay that way . Suv’s , CUV’s everything is outrageous !!!
@MrMr
That’s good, glad to hear it
The last new truck I bought was 5 years ago. It was a 3/4 ton with some options just above the basic level. It had a sport package, color matched bumpers, fender flares, 20 inch rims and few other options. It stickered around $54K and I was able to get it for around $45K or so, saved about 18%. Trucks are way more expensive today and everyone has been paying MSRP or more the last couple of years. I think if the discounts can get back to 10% or higher off MSRP then inventory will start rolling again.
All that financing for a vehical that most of the dealerships have no effective ideal how to maintain or repair. Can't go in for a problem without it costing 3 grand to solve a problem anymore. Plus half the time the repair didn't resolve the problem down the road or made it worse.
That's why msrp is going up. Ford wants the cut when they do away with dealership
i think you are crazy. for vehicles that are now over 100,000 dollars, that aint nothing.
Our business truck is about to cross 100k miles. The plan was to replace it with a new f150 before it rolled over 100, but going up to a 1000 a month payment is just not worth it. Looks like we are going to push our old truck to 150k
I see the F150s make it to 300k before needing major repair.
That’s the most scenic dealership I have ever seen.
Seriously is!
I visited Moab a few years ago and it’s a gorgeous area. Arches National park is something else.
Wait, let me sell my house then I can afford a ford.
People are willing to pay high prices for a Toyota because they go forever.
Perceived reliability, it has no parts shared with the old truck
This will require a follow up video in 2026 to see if those 140k trucks have ever sold.
Still way higher than it needs to be
No car is worth more than what you can get for it today at Carmax.

The pain of a contracting economy will end many stealerships the auctions will be flooded with these "new" vehicles. The floorplan banks will not continue to finance "stale bread" much longer. Safe Travels and Happy Trails as you visit more locations. Cheers.
I'm thinking sometime early next year prices should be good and low of course rates will be super high by then. With high new tuick inventory used prices should start to fall that's what I'm waiting for.
In 2008 I paid 150k for a 5 year old house I am still living in.
I was told by a salesman that if one wants MSRP they should create the build out sheet online and order it. The dealer markups tend to happen on what the dealers order. Not every dealer may do that, but this was coming from a salesman that I deal with for fleet sales for our organization.
In my experience, and I have purchased about 7 Toyotas in the last 10 years, Toyota never used add ons or mark ups. I bought a 22 4 Runner last May and paid sticker after about a 6 week wait. I think it was $44k. Leather, sunroof, nice one.
Same experience--both at Ford and Toyota for popular models that they have lots of allocations--no problem. Easy to place my Tacoma order and wait 2 months and get MSRP no dealership add ons. 43k TRD off road 2021 Tacoma with some accessories and upgrades from Toyota. Ford was a breeze no mark up for Ford Ranger (I end up with the Tacoma). However--the issue is with on demand cars like the Broncos, Mavericks and I bet it will be the same for the 4g Tacoma too. People just need to learn to wait.
@thomasmagda
I’ll bet that 4 runner is a real rascal in the Walmart parking lot. Can’t do much else with it
That's in your market. In mine, Toyota was and is adding ADM'S to almost all vehicles. $3-10k on 4runners, Tacoma, Tundra, Camry, and Prius. The dealer is also storing some vehicles off site to give a greater appearance of low inventory.
I bought a 2020 4runner ORP in July of 20 during the peak of Covid hysteria for under dealer invoice plus a $1500 rebate. The sticker was $44k and I paid a tick over $39k. They were terrified the world was going to end and they would get stuck with vehicles. Right after that the chip shortage hit and they were calling me for a year offering me more than I paid to buy the 4runner back.
Dealers Suck!
The crazier part is financial institutions that will lend that kind of money on that kind of rapid depreciation
Dealership model is destroying ford and customer financial health.
In our modern world we don't need a middle man that adds nothing of value.
No, it isn't the dealer model, it's the people owning the dealerships. They are resorting back to the olden days when you couldn't trust a car dealer further than you could throw them.
You think tesla's model is any better? I saw a famous youtuber buy and go to pick up his tesla and there were some issues with it and the guy delivering it said "suck it, do you want it or not"? Then he couldn't get in. The network was down. He was stuck there for (I think) over an hour trying to get in. What is sad about American made trucks is inflation and the unions keep getting higher wages for employees. Higher wages are doing on everywhere, but of course we have to pay the higher consumer price because of this. People like me who is disabled(I worked at a shipyard so I know what hard work is) on a fixed income are screwed. We will never be able to buy a new truck. There was a video where Ford CEO says he was putting dealers on notice about ADM markups. He was just blowing smoke. Keep bringing this awareness to us. Great job
It’s not the unions driving up prices to these insane levels, a lot of it is the dealerships demand msrp and higher. look at Toyota trucks, they are insanely priced also and they are scabs. Not long ago a person would NEVER pay msrp
The only thing stupider than these prices are the people who pay them.

I don't think Ford is gonna lower prices. I think this will be their way of sticking it to the dealers for doing the insane markups Ford didn't approve of - they're gonna make the dealers pay more for the same trucks and either let them sit for months/years in inventory or discount them.
You need to watch more videos. Ford has NO problem with these pathetic markups and addons otherwise they'd be cutting production instead of flooding the lots with more and MOARR trucks...
They should let them flood with the inventory they were fighting for inventory before they should keep getting inventory then and eat up the cost
Always good content Sir. Thankyou. The gouging gig is up. Don't fall for the banana in the fail pipe. Hold onto your money and let these dealerships take it up the poop shoot for all the crap they've been up to. There is power in poised hesitation by us consumers.
Selling 2022’s at full price is as crazy as adding additional dealer fees in the thousands. Ford lost me as a customer when a San Diego dealership added $5k to the new Mavericks. I told the salesman I wouldn’t pay that. He said, “I guess we’re done here.” And walked away saying “Other people will.”
Ford was deleting Auto Start/Stop for a while because of the semi conductet shortage. You can't nornally get that option. Similar to how they offered free 4WD and Ecoboost Engine on the Maverick to customers when they had a shortage of hybrid powertrains.
Thank you for this video. Good to see trucks that are actually affordable for a change.
You call 51k affordable?? That's crazy!!
When people pay these insane prices for something that gets 18 miles per gallon it is no wonder they retire with nothing in savings. This is just plain stupidity!
There are at least two tow and weight capacity ratings in F150s and 250s that no one ever talks about. I don't know the pricing differentials, but it should still be considered when comparing otherwise like models.
You don't even necessarily need to look at the door frame spec stickers. A light duty 150 will have 5 bolt wheels while a heavier duty one has 6 bolts. The 250 light duty will have 6 bolt wheels while a heavier duty one has 8 bolts. This text information may be on the window sticker. I don't know.
This should be useful to both new and used buyers.
$50,000 for a new truck is INSANE! Especially for a trek in Ford! But for ANY news car of truck. They can keep all it them!
You're not removing the auto-start /stop, Ford doesn't have chips or whatever to make them so every model currently does not have it by default.
When a manufacturer starts putting out, in quantity, a solid pickup for about $25K base, everyone else will lose their remaining market share.
The market sets the price. People are buying still. When they stop prices will fall. "Supply and command" Ricky said.
One thing you do not talk about is sales tax varies from state to state. In my county, it would cost around 5000 dollars in tax for a 50,000 dollar truck.
I just tried to get out of my lease early and there was absolutely no way of getting something even reasonable or affordable. So I'm extending my lease. I hate to say it, but I hope the car market collapses. It needs a re-adjustment back to some form of reality, but I know that won't happen!
Totally agree!!!!
it's already happening. Car prices at auctions are dropping due to bank repos. People bought bought bought and paid premiums but now the economy is cooling people can't afford to keep the vehicles. Craig at Flying Wheels (youtube) does dealer auctions and his last video had 2 lanes dedicated to repos and I'm going to say there were 200+ vehicles going through?
unless you are a company, leasing is a stupid finincial decision. why would you want car payments for life?
@@congoparrot - People lease because they can't afford to buy the car. They are willing to pay those 3 year's worth of car rent in order to be seen driving that vehicle under the mistaken impression that others will be impressed.
@@congoparrot well, if you only keep your cars for 5 yrs, you're doing that anyways. Nowadays, that's about as long as they last without major repairs.
Not sure what it's like now that the market has normalized, but a year ago if you leased a vehicle for 3 yrs, and your lease was up in 2022, you could buy back your lease, sell the vehicle for the total of your 3 yrs worth of lease payments.
Toyota has been marking up their prices little by little
A better question then asking "if you think these prices are too high", is to ask people "what have you received for raises since 2020?" You'll probably get an answer like 2%/year since 2020. So, if people are just getting the same old 2% they were getting in the years before to "keep up with inflation" so to say, that tells you exactly what we all think today. If a F150 XL say, was in the upper 20's low 30's in 2018/19 and now it is in the upper 40's/50's today, it is easy to see why hardly anyone is buying these things.
You can plug in a little dongle underneath the auto start stop button to remember if you disabled it last time. I think it's like $85, takes less than 5 minutes to install.
We just wanted cars that get good fuel mileage, are reliably simple, and lack the enormous TV screen on the dash. They just keep going backwards...and charging more. Who the heck is buying $130k trucks....and WHY? What a bunch of fools.

Toyota is not doing right by Toyota dealers, deliberately under supplying the US market
I drive by a small Ford dealership, one in a smalll town that always boasts "no city sales tax, every day. They normally have about 25-30 new vehicles to sell. One day i looked over and they suddenly had a ton of new F150s pretty much doubling their inventory. Guess if they cant sell them in the big city they dump them on the small dealer.. haha
Bought just prior to all the craziness. In Jan of 21 bought a 2020 XLT 4x4 V8 with sport package for $36k. That was with $13k in discounts.
I dont do woke. Once they gayed up a Ford Raptor they lost me as a customer.
What are you talking about?
@@china1013 there was supposedly an ad somewhere with a Raptor done up in the rainbow flag 🏳️🌈
@@doylerhill people are butthurt about that?
It’s nice to see people are smartening up and not buying this shit. Toyota lots are empty for a reason. Superior product by far. 👍
😝😝😝That’s funny
@@paulhunter9613 Funny because it’s true.
@@jspin1103 it’s not true that’s why it’s funny
@@paulhunter9613 🤷🏻♂️ FACT. Imports have had OEMs on the run for years. Ever wonder why?
@@jspin1103because the imports have a handy tampon dispenser built into the dash for the owners to use?
I ordered a 2021 F250, it took about 8 months to get which made it into a 2022. I had built an XL, 2wd with the big block, 4.30 E lock in the ass, dual batteries and alternators a little chrome here and there, cloth 40/20/40 front seats, nothing fancy but it will pull a house down the road, coming in at under 50,000. Can't even come close to it today, Ford keeps contacting me about trading it in, no freaking way, can't put a package together at that price today.
Wife brought a 2007 Expedition into the relationship. After replacing all the timing chains/tentioners/phasers, upgrading the oil pump and all new rocker assemblies there is no way im paying those prices for a new truck for the same problems (ecoboost) Spent my money on a audi S7 and a A7 and still have the Expo.
In my opinion, an STX should be low 30’s, XLT mid to high 30’s, Lariat low 40’s, Limited and Platinum in the mid to high 40’s. Raptor, Roush and Shelby’s are specialty trucks that should be around mid 50’s to low 60’s
Bo still to much!!!!!
Tundra mark ups are crazy, just looking online. The half ton is sold like a heavy duty truck. Lol
I have an 05 f150 fx4 xlt. The sticker was $38,200; I paid $29,000 for it. I take care of it-change the fluids (oil, radiator, brake, front and rear diffs, etc)regularly and I’ve run 93 octane since the day I got her. She has over 200k miles on her and runs great. But she’s got the tick: cam phasers, vct, and or rocker arms/lifters-she needs a timing job+. But the ford dealer where I live refuses work on trucks over 10 years old. First time I’ve ever heard of a ford dealer not work on a ford truck. They want me to buy one of their $80K trucks, then turn around and sell my truck for $18k-its crazy…I found a local shop to work on it so all is well, but it still feels like ford is giving me the double middle finger!
Ford's used to be cheap and reliable.
And now they're neither 😅
I've never seen a dealership without a paved parking lot.
That’s Moab for ya.
I did price out a xl crew cab 4x4, v8 at 48k ttl here in north texas. The only bad thing is they used it as a loaner and it already had like 2k miles on it.
where in Colorado was that @7:54 ?
Does a case of Bud Light come in the front seat when you buy one of those
Holy crap when I bought my Ford F250 super cab, 8 foot bed 4 x 4 power stroke diesel in 1996 I still have the truck. All my friends gave me all kinds of crap because it was $32,000. Those days are long gone.
Went to the mazda in Victorville CA area... Today.... 11 Jun, they have😅😂😂😂😂😂 5k adjustment fee/3k add ons and some dude that looks like a pimp ... car salesman... with gold teeth, says... well cause covid... I laughed and walked away laughing... don't buy anything from these dealerships. Boycott them. Unless 30%, off, I will not even entertain starting the conversation on deals. I go there to see the cars and walk away, every time. So they see we... walk away. Budlight them..... and let's go brandon!
I bought a used 2014 Ford F150 XLT three years ago for $22,000. It still has under 75,000 miles on it. The dealership tries to buy it back from me every time I get it serviced or they have a sales event. They are very aggressive about it, too. They offer way more than what it's worth and try to put me in a brand new overpriced model. Yeah, no, let me keep what I got and stay in my budget. No way would I pay that much for a vehicle...new or not.
They are starting to cater the rainbow market so I doubt they will ever bring their prices down
Have you looked at Tomball ford in Texas, I bought my new 2023 2wd STX in April, for 44k. 3000 below MSRP. The 4x4's were going for about 48k. they had a lot of trucks but they were selling pretty good.
Sounds like a great place to do business.
I agree, that auto start/stop is the most annoying feature I've ever seen on a vehicle. It reminds me of the controls on a golf cart!
Is the Maroone sticker put on by the manufacturer or by the dealership and is the MSRP listed is by the manufacturer or the dealership?
2021 was the last time I purchase a new truck. I paid $53350. The same truck 18 montsh later costs $64.5K, exactly the same configuration.
I ordered a 2023 Ranger, spent $33,755 and got exactly what I wanted. Took 3-4 months, you just need patience and an honest Ford dealer.
On Raptors they usually don’t list the ADM. They will tell you when you try to purchase it. My guess is they have ADMs on it.
$50k+ for a 2.7L v6, that’s a joke, that’s just as bad as GM/Chevy with the 4cyl turbo at $50k+.
Back in day I was cap at 24k with tax landed 2011 f250 36k ext cab 8'
$20k
But found a 2012 f250 324 miles crew cab 8' $25k
They were both XL crank window am/fm
Would like your opinion Motor Feed, I am going to buy a 2022 Ram warlock hemi V8, all terrain package with 105 miles on it for 42k at the dealership. They were asking 52k for it but my guess is with it sitting on the lot for so long and no one wanting to pay 52k for a warlock they lowered the price to 42k, I tried negotiating with them to lower it even further but they would not budge past $500. I even left after saying we couldn't make a deal and even gave it a couple days. I am in desperate need for a truck for my construction business and been holding out the last 4 months hoping these prices were coming down. Am I getting screwed for paying 42k for this truck right now ? will it be 32k in 6 months maybe ? I cant wait that much longer for a truck with my business any input appreciated.
It’s people paying these over inflated prices is what’s causing them to stay with these outrageous, high prices. As long as they have. used and new.
These prices are insane
That Shelby F-250 Super Baja isn't a "play truck." Notice the spare tires? That truck is race ready. Not a play truck, it's an investment truck. It costs so much because it's configured to win races... and winning races both makes money, and increases that trucks re-sale value. 475 hp, over 1,000 lb/ft torque, 6.7 (7.3) litre turbo diesel?!? That thing is worth every penny....
I got a 2024 LTZ 2500 Z71 6.6 gas and the Allison for 71, there’s people that pay 10-15k$ more for a half ton that’s insane!
Dude, here in Miami, Ford of Kendall, a few months ago I saw (2) F-250 Shelby Baja, each one marked as "MSRP 125k", Dealer price = 150k... They also have, still, a shelby GT350R for 180k... AND! They have a Ford GT in the oven, the owner of the dealer "owns" the ford GT, but they have to wait two years to sell it due to Ford contracts.
F150 Shelby Baja for 160 in Fort Myers
Back in 2010 I bought a Ram 4X4 V8 Hemi 4door for $36K. I can understand a raise in price since then, but these prices today are ridiculous. I bought another Ram Bighorn 4X4 and has all the goodies. Granted I paid a little more than it could of been, but far better than what they’re charging today for the same truck that’s been cheapened.
Yep my 2014 tundra trd 4x4 was 36k now its 55 to replace it
@@jbird1173 I also told them when I went for service, they wanted me to trade it in I told them, they couldn't afford it! It's a 21" and there is no way their getting it.
Thought I was crazy when I paid $40,100.00 in 2001 for my new 2001 F 350 7.3 4x4 Lariat super duty. Still driving it look like new and runs like new with 200,000 miles on, it been in South Texas with no rust on it. Think my truck will last me another 22 years. When I first started diving in 1973 I paid $3,800.00 for a F 250 camper special and you could by a home for half the price they sale a trucks for now. Young people in there 20s starting out in life today, are screwed from the start unless they were born in to money.
Dealerships operate on 'there's a sucker born every minute.'
Looks like the suckers are finally getting smarter
