    I have an Ioniq 5 SE and I love it. It is a lot f fun to drive and is very comfortable. I don't think I would want to go back to an ICE vehicle.

    looks really good, i like the 80s styling. Personally I don't like crossovers but this one is actually good looking.

    Actually you can get to the heated and ventilated controls on the climate control. Just touch the “warmer” button.

    • @EVPulse
      @EVPulse  2 года назад

      You're correct, and as an owner, you would learn to hit "warmer" to get to that interface, but we sure would like to see dedicated heated/ventilated seat buttons like you get in the Kia EV6.

    good review, i like your charging data/time/speeds etc sections, so i have subscribed. Have you seen the new 2025MY... P.E (product enhancement i think) comes with all the downsides rectified, longer range (same size battery but more density) significantly better headlamps, heated seat buttons on centre console, rear wiper, black dash bezel as opposed to current white, and a few styling tweeks, worth checking out, a korean guy on here has some good reviews on it. its a major contender to replace my 2022 Kona EV in December, if it can handle winter here in Scotland, its good enough for anywhere

    Reviewers often tout 1-pedal driving as being great in stop-and-go traffic. No doubt it is but... I just leave my car (2021 Santa Fe) in cruise control which yields "0-pedal" driving which I find much more relaxing.

    How do you rate Ioniq 5 for ride quality and cabin noise against model 3.

    • @EVPulse
      @EVPulse  2 года назад +3

      It rides significantly nicer and is much quieter than the Model 3 we have in our fleet.

    The only thing this car lacks is an EV route planner. Yes, you can make it find EV charging stations along your route and manually add up to two of them at a time. But it can't look at your entire route as a whole and add or change EV charging stops to optimize overall trip time. It isn't a real deal-breaker, but competing models in the same price range from other marques can do that, and it is sorely lacking in this car.

      Agreed. It's the one glaring omission and hopefully it's addressed through OTA updates. We've been telling them since our first drive that it's a must-add addition.

      The ability to integrate external Apps (Carplay like), opens up to expand the software with your own favorites, perhaps like A Better Route Planner.

    Been driving this vehicle for over 2 month it is great to drive but it is not practical for those who do lots of milage 80% charge will say gives you 227 miles but in real milage may be 160 miles, it is cold in the UK if you put the heating on it will shave 30 miles of your rang as it will show in your display it cost me around $1 per 1 kwh 60% will take an hour and 10 minutes from 25 % to 100% will take about an hour and 50 minutes and that on fast charger that use 59kwh if lower than that the more hours will add, if your area have snow forget about it mine stuck on sleet and couldn't have any traction this vehicle reviewers don't talk about these point because they don't use it day in day out
    DON'T BUY THIS VEHICLE YOU WILL REGRET IT

      I live in the Rocky Mountains at 9000'. I get single digit temps and lots of snow. The Ioniq 5 is extremely sure footed and is better in the snow than my jeep. Driving style has a significant effect on your range, so keep an eye on your speed, quick starts, etc. Also, the AUTO regen setting is quite good at capturing power back to the battery.
