    Great video Victor , I really like the Factory you sold me ! I have about 350 miles on it so far .I've got to keep my passages pegs and want to get an exhaust . I'll call you soon, William F.

    Feedback/tips from a Tuono owner:
    1. I have the base version in lava red, bought before the factory was announced. I've had my IMU on order through my dealer since April LAST year 🙃. Be mindful if you plan on buying a base that you can get the parts.
    2. I highly recommend getting the PUIG windshield if you plan on highway riding a lot, I bought it think it wouldn't do much but there was a notable difference in the amount of air that hits your upper chest (at 6'2").
    3. The base model does not come with a swingarm guard, anothing highly highly recommended piece.
    4. Tighten your mirrors down! Nothing like fighting a mirror that loosened on the highway.
    5. I dont know if its just me, but the seat pushes you quite far forward, jewels against the tank. It really locks you in there and find myself pushing the dual rear airbags back a lot. Its still way more comfortable than any sport bike, but does feel on the small side compared to the bigger V4s seat.
    Hopefully this helps someone!

      Regarding the seat - this bike is not ideal for anyone above 6.0ft (186cm). I've heard many ppl say this and after getting this bike, I can only confirm it. I am exactly 186cm and I swear that anyone taller than me will have big troubles fitting on that bike. It's still just a 660 and it weights only 186kg wet, so this bike is definitely not suitable for anyone taller than that.

  • @Frank_Torre

    Great video. Honestly unless someone is hell bent on the Acid Gold colour. It makes perfect sense to go for the Tuono Factory. Especially since you could pay well over 2k to near 3k just to upgrade your 660's suspension to match the Factory model. The only thing I'd change on the Factory is the exhaust and still come out cheaper than upgrading the base model and then adding a exhaust to it. Then again I'm kinda leaning towards the Ducati Streetfighter V2 as my next bike.

  • @ALFAVITAGA

    Cool side by side comparison! For me the Factory wins my heart overall. Its a no brainer. But I can see multiple reasons why someone would choose the “base”. Can’t go wrong with either.

    • @Victor_Moto
      @Victor_Moto  2 года назад +1

      Cant go wrong with either one. I'd want to add my own upgrades to the Base but I don't think I'm the target rider for the these models.

      @@Victor_Moto Agreed! If one would want to gut the bike and add their own upgrades the base is the way to go. I could see myself using the Factory as a commuter/daily ride, but man do I love my RS660 😄

    Just a quick note - They do NOT have the same engine. Base model is tweaked to 70kW (95bhp), that means it can be cut to 35kW version for A2 (in Europe). Factory version is actually 73,5kW (100bhp) so it's NOT possible to cut it to 35kW for A2. This can mean a significant difference for some people.

    • @Victor_Moto
      @Victor_Moto  Год назад +2

      True, but in North America, where I am, they are the same engine.

    • @dickiemcgeezacks9458

      Even in that circumstance they are still the same engine. It's just the base model can have the electronics modify to cut that five horsepower. Throttle bodies etc. The engine itself still exactly the same.

The thing is I like the black-red colors of the basic model and I was wondering whether it’s possible to install the red-black fairing and graphics etc. of the basic model on the factory one. I came here for the most important thing - the comparison of the acceleration and the different gear Setup. Good Video, but this topic is not in the video and its the most important difference beside the suspension. Can you tell something about it?
    Does the factory feel much faster because of the shorter gears?

    • @Victor_Moto
      @Victor_Moto  Год назад +2

      Slightly better acceleration at low end only. Otherwise, not a huge difference. Easy mod on a base model Tuono 660 too. If I had a Tuono 660 Factory, I'd add one tooth to the rear sprocket as well (and the same to the base with a 16 front sprocket).
