I have a 2002 ford excursion and I used your 12 button hack to change my door code, work like a champ
Ok, somthing you probably didnt know, and I learned this with my 2017 Focus ST and it still works on my 2021 Explorer XLT, hold the flob on the door pillar where the lock codes are as you close the door, it will bypass the honk feature and alow you to lock the doors while its running, I do this when running in the gas station especially during the winter...

Jorge, keep up the great work. Most dealers/associates don't bother to discuss these features once all the paperwork is signed. I never knew about the reason for the nuisance honk(which has happened to me so often) and the rotary shifter. Do you realize how often I put the car into park before exiting 🤦🏽♂Now I can just open the door and know the car will be put in park.
Thank you Jorge for the electronic parking system tip. Ford did well to automatically place the vehicle to park while opening the door. Crushed my head lamp once with an all new Volks wagen Amarok 2019 pick up bcoz of this carelessness.

Love your videos Jorge for tips and tricks on your Ford vehicle I’m in the uk and unfortunately the Ford Edge didn’t really take off here that well so we decided to go for the model down from the Ford Edge still a lovely car so we opted for a Ford Kuga titanium x edition 2020 in ruby red so I actually found out with one of the features that my car has by watching your first tip and trick video and that is global windows one of your favourites if I’m not mistaken anyway much respect from the UK 🇬🇧 god bless America 🇺🇸

Hey are there any updates on the release of the electric f150?
HI there and welcome to the channel and thanks for watching. Well, at the moment there is going to be at least a 2 month delay on the upcoming new vehicles. So the Mach E was supposed to be here this fall and probably got pushed back to the end of the year or maybe even early next year. The Bronco and Bronco sport have been delayed as well. But as far as the F150, we don't know exactly what is going on with that vehicle. I know that is Ford's best selling and might keep that in trace for November time frame. As always, I will try to keep you guys updated.

@@Askjorgelopez lDo you know how to fix a stuck sunroof. It's closednbutbjustbabkittke bit lower than the fixed roof so the car saysbsunroifnopen. I can't get it to vent or go forwards or backwards. The sun shade only closes halfway. I tried the initialing trick with the dome lights but I can't get it to work. I just want to get it closed before it rains.
13:15 - my 2017 Skoda Octavia had that feature. It was quite a neat party trick for a 2nd hand car I paid less than 10k for

Thanks for the tips- wondering if you could provide tips/hints on the Edge moon/sunroof. I had a problem closing mine and now I am afraid to use it!
Well, there is not tip for the sunroof. It should open without hesitation. You might need to use some lub on the rails of the roof. If you see any hesitation on the roof opening or closing then you will need to involve your ford dealer for help.

Not sure I understand your first question as stated but when someone is talking about 360 cameras then there is no difference between 360 and split.

Thanks Jorge - I just bought a 2020 Ford Expedition and although some of the features you mentioned were shown to me, a lot of them were not so I appreciate the detailed video. I still do not understand drive mode. I do not have the second knob on mine but I have a drive mode button that displays a screen on the dash. However, the up/down buttons will not scroll through it. Does this mean I really do not have this option? I also do not have a release button to close the liftgate; I do not think it is a power lift door.
the up and down buttons ( think you mean the plus+ and minus-) are to shift the transmission into gears manually. Closing your liftgate will be manual if you don't see a button on the liftgate inside door jam

Just got my limited expedition max and learning all these tips & tricks. Thanks to you. One question, I’ve noticed that the rear side vent windows can’t be open anymore. Did Ford deleted this feature on all newer expeditions? I used to have a 2017 expedition EL and there’s a button to open/close the rear side vent windows.

Hey Jorge! What if I don’t have 2 key fobs- How do I retrieve the key code? I have a 2015 Edge bought used and was not given a 2nd fob or a key code for the door. Thanks in advance! Love your tips & Tricks-makes me want to upgrade to a newer Edge with auto lift gate and parking assist
The only way is to go to your dealer if you only have 1 key

The honking when you get out is so annoying but I appreciate it and will never deactivate it on my Ford Escape. It comes in useful at the gas pump 😩
Great video Jorge! Very informative for sure. How can I program my 2019 f150 turn signals to blink 5 times instead of 3 when making lane change. Also is there a way to keep the fog lights on in conjunction with the high beams? Thanks again Jorge!
Not possible to make the signals blink 5 times to my knowledge. I have never been asked that but will do some research for you. And no, unfortunately you can't have the fogs on with the high beams.
James, I believe it's a law (a stupid law) that the manufacturers cannot have the fog lights on in conjunction with the high beams. That's why you cannot find any factory vehicle sold in N America that has them both on simultaneously.
Couple years late, but Forscan will allow you to reprogram all of that. You can change the blinkers to whatever flash you want, you can access "bambi mode" (fogs w/high beams), you can get rid of the double honk, and quite a lot of other functionality that you'll be able to access which is unavailable and hidden within all Ford vehicles.

In the past you did a good video on leasing. I was wondering if the trim you lease has an effect on the residual value since some trims are more common on the road than others. Also does the equipment on the truck effect residual value. What equipment matters and what doesn't. Like does 4WD have better residual than 2WD. Or does a Platinum have a better residual than Lariat. Or does a technology package matter. I would love to see you do a video covering this when you have the time. I think it's a question that many of us have rather we are shopping a F-150 or Mercedes. The video would more than likely attract a lot of viewers. Thanks for any consideration.
Thank you for the feedback. I will certainly do a video covering that. To give you a short summary answer. Yes, the trim level and some options will in fact make the residual different. For example; an XL's residual will be less than a Lariat. A 4x4 will have a higher residual than a 2 wheel drive. However, smaller options like running boards, technology package or moonroof to name a a few will not affect the residual but will impact the payment because of its cost.

I have a 2019 Ford Escape SE. My question, the compass is stuck in the NORTH position ONLY. How can I recalibrate the compass or is there a way to recalibrate the compass? Thank you. Great videos by the way!
try turning the vehicle in circles somewhere. I would say do a circle about 3 of 4 times. This calibrates the compass. Good luck
@@Askjorgelopez Tried that from doing research online and that did not work. Went clockwise and counterclockwise, did about 5 SLOW circles

at the moment we are not sure. Ford has not suggested anything yet but we have speculation to believe ford will not make a 2021 but they will 2022
YO Jorge...GREAT VIDEOS! Now I got 2 issues>>>1. I am trying to update my Sync, so I downloaded the information to a jump drive BUT I am having an issue with it downloading into my 2014 Ford Edge....#2. I am now experiencing cold air on the driver side and hot air on the passenger side and the dual air setting is @ say 65 degrees on both sides...I googled for quick fix and it said i have to reset the climate control...this is what i am SUPPOSE to do>>>to reset the climate control on your 2014 ford edge, press the climate control button, the defrost button and the power button at the same time. then press the climate control button again and it should be reset.

no, sorry you cant replace the hardware
Leave the key fob in the car if you are in a safer area and leave the car running. You can lock and unlock with the keypad anyway.

So perhaps it's user error, but everytime I try to touch the start button, the car either starts or stops - how do you do this process without continually having the start button fire up or turn off the engine? And do you start the process with the engine being 'off', 'on', or in accessory mode (and then, how do you prevent the engine from going off or on again every-time you touch that start button?)

We bought a used 2019 explorer and were only given 1 key/fob and no door code. watched your videos and was able to get door code. Brother who's a mechanic has Autel diag scanner and it can program key/fob. we need "pin" if we provide our VIn/proof of owner, can you help get this for us?

I bought ford expedition platinum 2019, and my friend bought also ford expedition limited 2019, both cars are used cars, with two remote keys for each, my friend car was stolen, when we checked the CCTV, we knew it was stolen by a third remote key.
Can I change the remote keys code of my car ?
That I am not sure. You would need to check with your ford's service dept.
