Not too terribly weird. All the muscle memory is with weight, so it's just going through the motions.
Better without weight than with weight. Without weight, you can impose it yourself, like Robin said. However, when devs try to add weight, they mess it up completely and make the weapons too heavy and unwieldly.
Robin, you should try this game again. It's combat has become a lot more refined and recieves constant updates
