Even though this was a different era for the VW group vs diesel gate going forward, the interiors were much nicer back then. Nice smooth, curvy surfaces along the dashboard vs the hard plastic edges of now. Unfortunately, that was apart of the financial fall out from the scandal.

These fuel savings for this diesel model are amazing, 7 miles more per gallon, except that it cost about $7500.00 dollars more, and the diesel is about $0.50 per gallon more expensive than regular gasoline, so you need to drive the car about 330,000 miles before you break even, you start seeing the diesel benefits after the 330,000 miles, what a joke. Please don't tell me that the fuel savings in this car are not for idiots. You have to be a complete moron to believe that you are saving on fuel.
