Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the twelfth major installment and the twenty-second release in the Assassin's Creed series, and a successor to 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Set in the 9th century, the player controls Eivor, a Viking raider and Assassin during the Viking invasion of Britain. The game is scheduled for release in late 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia, and is to be Ubisoft's launch title for the next-generation consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
In Valhalla, the player takes on the role of Eivor, a Viking raider who leads their fellow Vikings from Norway in raids and battles against King Aelfred and the four Anglo-Saxon medieval kingdoms of England - Wessex, Northumbria, East Anglia, and Mercia - near the end of the 9th century as part of the Viking invasion of Britain. Additionally, the game will continue to tie into the modern-day events related Abstergo Industries' researcher Layla Hassan, who was featured in both Origins and Odyssey, and to the Templars and Assassins that have tied the series together.
Players will have the choice of playing Eivor as either male or female and are further able to select their hair, warpaint, clothing and armor. Combat has been changed to allow dual wielding of almost any weapon. The "Eagle Eye" mechanics are also expected to return in the form of a raven that will be Eivor's animal companion in the game. The player can use the raven to scout the nearby areas as previous avian companions had done in Origins and Odyssey. The game will rely less on a traditional leveling system and instead focus more on the selection of skills through skill trees selected by the player as Eivor advances through the game. Enemies will be rated based on the collection of skills. The skills trees will be similar to those found in The Witcher, Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Player choices through conversation or gameplay options will have impacts on the characters and their political alliances with other non-player characters.
A central feature of the game is the settlement that the player, as Eivor, will help build and lead during the game. Ismail described its importance as "a lot of what you're doing in the game world is, at the end of the day, going to feed into the settlement so that it can grow, it can flourish." The player will be able to direct construction of certain types of buildings which in turn provide benefits for gameplay. To build these structures, the player will need to lead the vikings on raids to collect resources. Naval combat will return, though more as a means of faster medium for travel for performing such raids, and for escaping after land combat, rather than in engagement with other naval vessels.
Valhalla is a single player game, but will include online components for the purpose of encouraging players to share their progress and creativity.

I’m gonna say this because I didn’t see anyone who needed help like I did but when you go to the Wiccan cave in Northumbria you keep going straight ! Use odins sight when you get all the way up into like the cave room, you will see a red thing through the walls and all you have to do is look up and throw a torch at the fake looking ice and it will break, you’re welcome

If you’re having trouble killing the zealots bring them to a river and shoot them from your boat. Unlimited arrows and your allies shoot at them so they’re not always targeting you.

You can simply look at the map. If you have already discovered the location of the tablet but there is no icon then you have already gotten it. For zealots just look at the order page.
I think each tablet has a name of some kind, in your inventory...
But there probably isn't a guide like that yet.. (i.e. names of tablets to locations.)

I’ve just got this sword, I have 157 attack, 165 stun, 13 weight, 43 speed, 115 critical pre…what a beast! I have had the game for about 8 months but only started playing it last month, took me a while to get into, but what a great game
As I said before in another video about this, PLEASE let this be an Easter Egg that the next Assassin's Creed game is going to be set during the time when the historical King Arthur was supposed to have lived (roughly 450-550 AD)!
Historical?! King Arthur was a myth. Or legend. There’s no historical recollection of King Arthur. Or Camelot. Although Ubisoft like to swim off history they still follow an accurate historical period

For all those complaining about the zoom, its not hard to pause the video and figure out where he is, even in the western end of Cent. I had no issues finding any of the locations. Just a bit of common sense and you should find it.

@@darkangel0275 I usually take my time with these games, I'm only 208 with 70 hours on the game, on Odyssey I finished at around level 60-70 with 82 hours

Tip for killing zealots is that you unlock "Charged Shot" skill in your skill tree it works like a charm
I also seem to do better with them using a spear with extra elite damage and attack. Also, The Might of Thor ability works great, so long as you time your strike proper as it’s charging up your weapon. Did me wonders. Also the triple shot arrow ability just keep locking the target onto the Zealot. Already have one side of the Zealots finished (I’m a level 210 power though) (got a good chunk of them at only level 90-100 power using my ability’s though. And proper runes for your armour!
Best way to kill the zealots is to get the missile reversal at the bottom of the skill tree and stay at a medium distance to them and keep reversing the spears they throw at you and you can kill them in 1-2 minutes.
I was really surprised when Eivor grab one of their bombs and threw it back at them...
Still blinded me though.. they weren't affected at all. (except a little damage.)
I think since the 1.04 patch it seems zealots don't take much damage from this strategy anymore. They still get knocked to the floor for a second but they only take like 17 damage. I was able to cheese 2 of the 3 zealots by luring them to the cliffs of dover and throwing them over the edge with either of the abilities.
I just ended up on this video after watching the stream. Glad you finished the quest, because I was soooo sad when the stream ended unfulfilled.

I’m Sooooo excited!!!! Took forever and 3 days to get it done because I kept getting side tracked and your vids were spoiler free. But Im finally putting in the things and about to grab my sword. Killed all 3 zeleots, learned a method to kill them quickly and use a jump axe slam. So they never really had time to breathe.
Even the dude with the shield took only 15 seconds. LuL. Screw trying to parry/dodge.

For everyone that is missing the tablet when you get to the end, like me. You need to go to Cent and go north east of Canterbury towards the peninsula that has the synchronization point. You'll find a location called Cavern of Trials that will have the tablet we all missed.

Its pretty easy. I am only power 106 and I get all three of them. All you do is use the two daggers then Dive of the Valkries then rinse and repeat for the first two people. For the third one have the Brush with Death skill and keep one dogging so it will slowdown time then use the daggers.

with double daggers and harpoon impalement, those 3 guys are easy even with them being more than twice my power at the time. its doable if you know the right techniques
It’s not useless cause you won’t have to do averything when you’re ready to come back and fight them
if anyone is having trouble killing the zealots do this. use a dual axe or daggers, then use the harpoon and use your left handed special. this will refill your adrenaline so and then when you rhn out of stamina you can use the harpoon again and do the same thing. it makes it a breeze.

I used a combo of Blacksmith's Hammer Main hand and Housecarls Axe Secondary.
I'm only a level 82 and handled 2 of the 3 Zealots so far.

Dive of the Valkyries
Stomp
Axe Special (holding LB/L1)
Then repeat. If done with 3 Adrenaline bars, you can juggle them from Ability to Stomp, to Special only having to parry one or two attacks

Man this was way easier to actually get than what I thought it was.
Watching the video and seeing everything you got to do seems intimidating and sounds like it'll take you forever
I literally started trying for excalibur yesterday and within 3 hours I got it, just ignore everything and run to the caves and on the way between caves I found 2 of the zealots I needed to kill on the way.
And im only power lvl 110 so if anybody wants reference for how early you can get excalibur!
It would be great but seeing as how the day 1 patch made it so I cant advance the story this seems so far away

If you use the harpoon grab thing and a dagger in your offhand, you can do the dagger stabby attack and then pull the zealot back towards you and begin the stabby attack again instantly. Basically a "GET OVER HERE!" move.
How can I get a harpoon?
It's an ability in ranged found in Vononis if I remember correctly. OP Dude has a you tube guide. I spent $ for map collection that shows abilities, armor, etc. Time saver investment. My free time is limited.

Guys....for the zealots use double spears and fire strike. It's so good against anyone. I killed the 310 power bear king in Norway while at 170 power. Then 280 power Hrothgar, 250 Heike, and 220 Woden insanely fast using it. All while massively underpowered. Make sure your armor is max upgrade then equip Health and resistance runes and have the Fire Strike melee ability and you will shred them.

If you had to kill anyone to talk to him first make sure you killed every last person otherwise you can’t move on that’s the way I got out of not being able to move on in the quest worst case though just reload your last checkpoint and try again

TagBackTV, Very, very impressive, man. The fact you can do it at so much lower power level makes it even unbelievable.
I like to use this weapon along with the Briton shield which recovers health on each parry.

Just get the heavy handed skill, lets you use 2 handed weapons in each hand, or in your case the sword and a shield

Hello, I would like to know which talent I would need to be able to use the dual blade so fast. I´m using a Suttungr´s Claw and a Huldufolk Blade. Are they good to be fast like you in the combats, at the end of the video?

No he doesnt kind of just says go through the cave some are straight forward but i found if you youtube search how to get excalibur there are two really good ones that show each cave and its walkthrough Channels name is gaming with abyss
the caves are pretty basic though, it's pretty much a straight line with some jump puzzles here and there or breaking something open.
he does in a much longer video of his. he has a 2hour+ video showing these steps in great detail including going thru each cave
