@@HighPotatoo It’s only crashed on me twice. Two of my friends told me they’ve had multiple crashes in no specific spot. Just random crashes for no reason. Probably has to do with overwhelming the ram somehow. Typical Ubisoft game, they always need work after launch. Pretty ridiculous with a single player game lol

The ingots are in a rarity system like this. Iron-Common(white) Carbon-Uncommon(green) Nickel-Rare(blue) Titanium-Extra Rare(diamond blue) Tungsten-Ultra Rare(gold) I also want to say that I upgraded the Berserker shield and the Spartan Bow to Mythical without the use of Tungsten at the start of the game, but I don't know if that's a glitch or not but it made the early game before going to and after arriving in England much easier at low power(rank).
Just did the nickel one. Can confirm that you can travel there with your long ship and you *DO NOT have to clear the abby* to get this trick to work. Just go ahead and travel there. Once you're there, quick save, reload, and you should have the 5 patrolmen spawn.
Even faster style of getting ingots: 1: make save file RIGHT NEXT to the enemy 2: keep yourself crouched all the time and pickpocket the target 3: run few steps back, next to the road 4: save the game and repeat im doing this on pc and get 2-4 ingots in 1 minute (depends how fast i can make the save and load it) Hope this makes your process faster
This still works for me but not exactly the same as shown on the video, I start out the same at the fork road then save while hiding in the bush, reload and scan the area with the zoomed in raven sight, if there isn't any patrols around I then fast travel to Canterbury and back. I then use raven sight again and there will be up to three but most of the time there is two patrols in the area, sometimes two in the town and another one on the trail around the outskirts near the druid's cabin. I went back to camp to upgrade my armour etc and traveled back and there were six patrols in the area, it seems that the whole area had reset and there were no bodies laying around.
For people looking for Carbon : I have the same method, I just go in Ledecestrescire at the crossroads above the pond near Offchurch. There's a patrol there, just kill them for 1 Carbon then save and load, rinse and repeat. Edit: There's two patrol (meaning two carbon ingot!) south of Meldeburne and the fast travel in Grantebridgescire. They are at the crossroad near Ravensburg.

idk why they have to ruin this type of stuff for us, there isnt even enough tungsten in the freaking game, and there is bugs that are actually important that developers could focus on, during times like this....it pisses me off that they ruin this stuff that is doing ZERO HARM... its because whiney POS's bitch about it!! An FYI for anyone doing this. I received one of the diamond shaped runes off the Banneret. It was the "Chained Fury Rune" - Increase Attack after each hit (up to 10 times) not sure if this is common knowledge. I had been wondering how/where to get these particular runes.
This was one of the most effective exploits I have ever seen, on a PS4 Pro with an SSD it took me 15 minutes to fully upgrade all 3 of my bows... so now it's so easy the game is broken for me.
It's supposed to actually work that way it is a in-game feature to help correct a glitch known as the absent tungsten glitch what causes all function that fits within the world disappear so this particular guard is meant to be a Band-Aid for that issue
It’s been fixed, I’m not sure if on purpose but, the bodies stay and also it will work 1 time they also don’t reset so you get lucky for getting 1-3 tungsten ingots
It's not fixed the road in the video is the least ingot producing road but it still works I made a list of 4 roads that produce every type of ingot.. check the list👆👆👆 Please like the list so more will see.
Still works as of December 13th, and you can just save and reload right behind them on the road. Most times you don’t even have to move to assassinate the big guy.

September 04, 2023 The Glowescestrescire location for tungsten bars worked. Found the guards patrolling away from Glowecestre I just got two. Edit: Made a manual save, did *not* reload, and simply fast-traveled to the nearest point. Still worked! Got 2 more Tungsten ingots. The guards were on a slightly different road though, to the north walking _towards_ the city.
@@TheJiroScope sleep arrows give you away. If you kill him when he's in the back of the group with an advanced assassination you can get two kills off before having to fight anyone.
The Ark-Ham Sandwich no because if you move up to the bush where they spawn you are behind them. I can get three sleep arrows off before them even know what’s going on. Walk up kill all three while they are laying on the ground
@@TheJiroScope then what happens when you run out of arrows? Using 3 at a time you'll drain them pretty quick and have to go get more. This way you don't have to worry about wasting time doing that
If you assassinate the big guy, axe throw the archer, you can if you have skill unlocked throw the big guys sword at the guy carrying the ingot, also could even get a double assassination animation if they close enough while spamming the RB/R1 to do the axe throw. It can all be done within a second of each other and speeds up the process even further. So from 5 seconds can be down to 3-2 seconds.
It definitely works for anyone doubting, also doing it super fast instead of just taking the time and killing all enemies will result in more data corrupt saves also don't make too many extra saves either lost tons of hours figuring out how to avoid data corruption. Hopefully this helps.
UPDATE: It doesn't work as quickly since the recent patch but if you 1. Blow up the corpse with the booby trap skill and 2. you're super patient, you can keep looting him over and over. I'd recommend finding your own method but I think you'll find he respawns (regardless of saving and re-loading). And the spawn time varies from instantly to probably around 5mins. So if you run around clearing out Glowecestre and checking with Synin you'll find he keeps rolling through town with his posse just begging to be looted 😉 (NOTE: he seems to spawn on the roads leading in and out of town but always the opposite side of town to your location. So if you kill him on the western road just outside of town he should spawn on the eastern side after you destroy the body).
The fastest method i found is the go straight up to the guy that has it and steal it from him, do a quick save rather than a manual and reload. Takes like 10 seconds tops and they won't discover you and all you gotta do is hold 1 button since it auto walks when you start stealing
Also on the previous coment , the guy just Respawns every 10 min right at the crossings in the near by village, when u use odins sight the guy is wearing small pouch on his waist, this is how u can recognise him, but be ware if u don't kill him first among the 4 npc, he runs like hell it is nearly impossible to catch him so make sure u kill him first ,ITS STILL THERE IT IS NOT PATCHED, SO JUST WALK AROUND AND WAIT FOR HIM TO RESPOWN AT THE CROSSINGS
Okay, I am not usually one to comment on these kind of videos but this was very interesting and I did a bit of experimenting of my own. As of today, for the PC version, these guys still do pop up (if, of course, you have gathered all the wealth from the region). HOWEVER : - You DO have to reload AND fast travel (I usually use Glowecestre) for them to respawn. - For me, they do not spawn exactly at the spot mentioned in the video, but on the same road, a little further East, near Belas Knap. They respawn exactly at this spot, and they patrol the road from East to West, so I'm guessing the respawn is based on where you first discovered them in your version of the game. In any case, as they seem to patrol this road and always have the same path, you should be able to find the spot for your specific game. Unfortunately, if you're like me, it means it will add a little bit of travel time each time you reload your game, instead of the method explained in this video, where it only required reloading your save. - There seem to be other patrols similar to this one, travelling various roads through the region. I was able to spot at least another one using the raven, and I'm guessing there must be several others. They are quite easy to detect as they are the only "travelling"/"moving" wealth points, easily spotted with said raven. Might be useful for someone having trouble reloading the game or making the patrols spawn back, you can do a little tour of the region each time you load your game (even other regions having tungsten wealth, I'm guessing). I hope my own experience could help. Was quite fun figuring out all the little details of how these guys work :)
Thank you for this. I decided to assassinate the big guy first then chain assassinate the tungsten guy. Makes the farm super fast. Was able to save 20 seconds per load.
Thanks a ton man. I was able to farm 50 of these in about 30 minutes. I somehow got the other mobs glitched down the road every time so I was able to get the guy alone every time.
AS OF 7/21/21 , on PC, this isn’t quite as easy or quick anymore, but you can still farm for unlimited Tungsten if you go into the town, because the soldier with the pouch respawns in the main town, accompanied by a Goliath and another soldier. It doesn’t respawn at the fork anymore, though, you have to go into town and look for them. So it will take you longer to farm a lot. I usually assassinate the soldier, quickly loot the tungsten, then get far enough away from the other soldiers to fast travel across the map, then save the game, load the save, then fast-travel back to the synchro point in the NW corner of Lesdecesteshire. Usually call my horse and then ride around the town looking for the pouch soldier again.Sometimes you get more than one group that’s carrying Tungsten. I don’t even wait for them to walk out of town anymore because I’ve leveled up enough to survive just fine in the thick of the soldiers in the town. But then I do dash out of town and fast-travel away again to save. So it still works, but now you have to earn it.
Works great one slight improvement (for speed purposes) when they walk in formation just go behind middle guy with tungsten and 'steal' you get it with no violence then just go to the bush, rins repeat.
Is this method still working? Update: I don't think this works anymore. I tried the exact same method but their bodies are still lying there every time I load the game. Also, no patrols too.
For the nickel spot. there's a tower with a fast travel point on top. Its south east of wesburie. Below in that tower is a single npc with nickel. So far everytime i fast traveled to that point he had respawned. But i think saving and quiting outside would work as well. And since there's no enemies, that would work really well in think.

Two immortality glitches: 1. Fast travel during the coin flip of an orlog game. Enemies will not aggro. 2. Much less reliable, only managed to do it once; use an ability attack right as your health drops to 0, and you can no longer be killed for the duration of the fight (as long as you have 0 health). Much more fun though.
For some reason I just love the bannerets (sorry if I spelled that incorrect) I love finding them at random and testing new weapons on them also they are pretty easy if you don’t attack nonstop

seems they patched this recently, the patrol walks threw once no tungsten drop when i killed them. Saved in bush loaded and their bodies were still on the ground. I've tried multiple times.
3 per weapon, 1 per armor, 3 per bow. Seeing as armor is still being added as well as weapons, the number will continue to increase. I say, get 14 tungsten and focus on your main power set so you can get more tungsten for your alternate armor/weapons/bows. Stop after about 20 tungsten, spend them, maybe hunt for carbon ingots (to make mythical I think?) and them grind for money somewhere. I’m still running the rivers for fish. Money is slow regardless.

In that time, it was pronounced Gloc-ces-ter-shire I believe. One npc told me to fish for an eel so he could make his Gloucestershire sauce (which reminded me of Worcestershire).
Here in August 2024. Worked for me once. Showed up, killed the guys, got the tungsten, saved and then reloaded. After some time, more than shown in the video, they respawned and came back. Tried again, and they did not respawn. Looking at other comments, leaving the area and coming back may work, as the area will reset. Wondering if just dying will work, as that also typically resets enemies. Have yet to test either but will update when I do for anyone else who comes along.
Thanks, will save me a lot of time by way of maximal efficiency in this overly bloated game lol. By the way, fix your gain staging and perhaps even cut away some of the deep-end frequencies of your recorded audio. Your voice sounds like it's clipping constantly and the boomy sound on top doesn't make it any more pleasant.. :-P
Also there’s an invisible and Xp glitch For invisible glitch - Roll the dice (at Ravensthorpe) then fast travel after flipping coin (do not exit the coin flip screen stay in it while you fast travel) After fast traveling enable HUD, and no enemy will see you and you can get an instant assassination For XP Glitch (you need to do the invisibility one first) Travel to the Dark Weald in England (south-west of Winchestre) and find the Cat boss, ONLY KILL THE BIG CAT NOT THE SMALLER ONE) after killing it, run out of the area and return and rinse and repeat
I found for the first portion of this it is easier to assassinate the strongest guy first and if you come up from behind them you can get a good chain assassination on then which makes it even quicker.
It seems the devs have caught on and removed it with the Yule patch. I followed this to the tee a few weeks ago and got like 30 tungsten in an hour. Now when I re load the manual save the dead bodies are still lying there and the tungsten-carrying guards are not spawning... any ideas?
@@sammyreyns6 it works, im sure. When you arrived to the spot, start with the saving, after the load they gonna be there right at the bush. You are playing the same game 🤓
They still do, you just can't reload the save and have them re appear. If you run along that road between the town and the river, there will be 1 or 2 patrols per round trip, so it's still pretty fast way to get tungsten
Do you have to have pledged to this area for these guys to be patrolling? Because they are not showing up at all, I have used my raven and also ridden up and down the roads and I only came across one patrol but they were just basic enemies that drop nothing.

I JUST WENT AND STARTED THE GAME WITH JUST THE MAIN STORY AND I REACHED ENGLAND I HAD 18 SKILL POINTS SO I PUT THEM IN ASSASSIN SKILL TREE UNTIL I OPEND CHAIN ASSASSINATION AND CHANGED THE SETTINGS IN GAMEPLAY TO GUARANTEED ASSASSINATION THAT MADE A GREAT DEAL EASER AND WHEN I FINISHED I GOT IT BACK TO DEFAULT
I go there and there's three or four patrols in and around that area but I go kill all the patrols then fast travel to ravensthorp and save it and then load that save and go again works eveytime

This is exactly what I did a couple of hours ago. I average 1 tungsten ingot every 65 seconds on a PS4.

22 mins 50 tungsten ingot. Found a bush that has 10 meters to assasinate target and others don't spot you.

The Glowescestrescire location for tungsten bars worked. Found the guards patrolling away from Glowecestre
I just got two.
Edit: Made a manual save, did *not* reload, and simply fast-traveled to the nearest point.
Still worked! Got 2 more Tungsten ingots.
The guards were on a slightly different road though, to the north walking _towards_ the city.
Just here to say: the thumbnail is everything
I used this for titanium but by the end of it, I had 48 more Tungsten Ingots.
I really hope this farm isn’t a glitch. It’s honestly so good!

It’s a money method so put guaranteed assassinations on take out the big guy first for a faster run use harpoon too very helpful skill
or just use advanced assassination. either way, good advice!
Sleep arrows work better.
@@TheJiroScope sleep arrows give you away. If you kill him when he's in the back of the group with an advanced assassination you can get two kills off before having to fight anyone.
The Ark-Ham Sandwich no because if you move up to the bush where they spawn you are behind them. I can get three sleep arrows off before them even know what’s going on. Walk up kill all three while they are laying on the ground
@@TheJiroScope then what happens when you run out of arrows? Using 3 at a time you'll drain them pretty quick and have to go get more. This way you don't have to worry about wasting time doing that

The tungsten still works just synchronize yourself to the raven peak and travel back to it every time h do the run
If you assassinate the big guy, axe throw the archer, you can if you have skill unlocked throw the big guys sword at the guy carrying the ingot, also could even get a double assassination animation if they close enough while spamming the RB/R1 to do the axe throw. It can all be done within a second of each other and speeds up the process even further. So from 5 seconds can be down to 3-2 seconds.
I'm doing it on my ps4 pro and its runs maybe 5 to 7 sec load times. This is a great farm!!! Thanks for sharing Tag!!
It definitely works for anyone doubting, also doing it super fast instead of just taking the time and killing all enemies will result in more data corrupt saves also don't make too many extra saves either lost tons of hours figuring out how to avoid data corruption. Hopefully this helps.

UPDATE: It doesn't work as quickly since the recent patch but if you 1. Blow up the corpse with the booby trap skill and 2. you're super patient, you can keep looting him over and over. I'd recommend finding your own method but I think you'll find he respawns (regardless of saving and re-loading). And the spawn time varies from instantly to probably around 5mins. So if you run around clearing out Glowecestre and checking with Synin you'll find he keeps rolling through town with his posse just begging to be looted 😉 (NOTE: he seems to spawn on the roads leading in and out of town but always the opposite side of town to your location. So if you kill him on the western road just outside of town he should spawn on the eastern side after you destroy the body).

The fastest method i found is the go straight up to the guy that has it and steal it from him, do a quick save rather than a manual and reload. Takes like 10 seconds tops and they won't discover you and all you gotta do is hold 1 button since it auto walks when you start stealing

Also on the previous coment , the guy just Respawns every 10 min right at the crossings in the near by village, when u use odins sight the guy is wearing small pouch on his waist, this is how u can recognise him, but be ware if u don't kill him first among the 4 npc, he runs like hell it is nearly impossible to catch him so make sure u kill him first ,ITS STILL THERE IT IS NOT PATCHED, SO JUST WALK AROUND AND WAIT FOR HIM TO RESPOWN AT THE CROSSINGS

Okay, I am not usually one to comment on these kind of videos but this was very interesting and I did a bit of experimenting of my own.
As of today, for the PC version, these guys still do pop up (if, of course, you have gathered all the wealth from the region).
HOWEVER :
- You DO have to reload AND fast travel (I usually use Glowecestre) for them to respawn.
- For me, they do not spawn exactly at the spot mentioned in the video, but on the same road, a little further East, near Belas Knap. They respawn exactly at this spot, and they patrol the road from East to West, so I'm guessing the respawn is based on where you first discovered them in your version of the game. In any case, as they seem to patrol this road and always have the same path, you should be able to find the spot for your specific game. Unfortunately, if you're like me, it means it will add a little bit of travel time each time you reload your game, instead of the method explained in this video, where it only required reloading your save.
- There seem to be other patrols similar to this one, travelling various roads through the region. I was able to spot at least another one using the raven, and I'm guessing there must be several others. They are quite easy to detect as they are the only "travelling"/"moving" wealth points, easily spotted with said raven. Might be useful for someone having trouble reloading the game or making the patrols spawn back, you can do a little tour of the region each time you load your game (even other regions having tungsten wealth, I'm guessing).
I hope my own experience could help. Was quite fun figuring out all the little details of how these guys work :)
Thank you for this. I decided to assassinate the big guy first then chain assassinate the tungsten guy. Makes the farm super fast. Was able to save 20 seconds per load.
Thanks a ton man. I was able to farm 50 of these in about 30 minutes. I somehow got the other mobs glitched down the road every time so I was able to get the guy alone every time.
AS OF 7/21/21 , on PC, this isn’t quite as easy or quick anymore, but you can still farm for unlimited Tungsten if you go into the town, because the soldier with the pouch respawns in the main town, accompanied by a Goliath and another soldier. It doesn’t respawn at the fork anymore, though, you have to go into town and look for them. So it will take you longer to farm a lot.
I usually assassinate the soldier, quickly loot the tungsten, then get far enough away from the other soldiers to fast travel across the map, then save the game, load the save, then fast-travel back to the synchro point in the NW corner of Lesdecesteshire. Usually call my horse and then ride around the town looking for the pouch soldier again.Sometimes you get more than one group that’s carrying Tungsten. I don’t even wait for them to walk out of town anymore because I’ve leveled up enough to survive just fine in the thick of the soldiers in the town. But then I do dash out of town and fast-travel away again to save.
So it still works, but now you have to earn it.

Works great one slight improvement (for speed purposes) when they walk in formation just go behind middle guy with tungsten and 'steal' you get it with no violence then just go to the bush, rins repeat.

For the nickel spot. there's a tower with a fast travel point on top. Its south east of wesburie. Below in that tower is a single npc with nickel. So far everytime i fast traveled to that point he had respawned. But i think saving and quiting outside would work as well. And since there's no enemies, that would work really well in think.
I just have 2 brown bears spawning there :(

Two immortality glitches:
1. Fast travel during the coin flip of an orlog game. Enemies will not aggro.
2. Much less reliable, only managed to do it once; use an ability attack right as your health drops to 0, and you can no longer be killed for the duration of the fight (as long as you have 0 health). Much more fun though.

seems they patched this recently, the patrol walks threw once no tungsten drop when i killed them. Saved in bush loaded and their bodies were still on the ground. I've tried multiple times.

Why would it not be possible
3 per weapon, 1 per armor, 3 per bow. Seeing as armor is still being added as well as weapons, the number will continue to increase. I say, get 14 tungsten and focus on your main power set so you can get more tungsten for your alternate armor/weapons/bows. Stop after about 20 tungsten, spend them, maybe hunt for carbon ingots (to make mythical I think?) and them grind for money somewhere. I’m still running the rivers for fish. Money is slow regardless.

Here in August 2024. Worked for me once. Showed up, killed the guys, got the tungsten, saved and then reloaded. After some time, more than shown in the video, they respawned and came back. Tried again, and they did not respawn. Looking at other comments, leaving the area and coming back may work, as the area will reset. Wondering if just dying will work, as that also typically resets enemies. Have yet to test either but will update when I do for anyone else who comes along.

For invisible glitch -
Roll the dice (at Ravensthorpe) then fast travel after flipping coin (do not exit the coin flip screen stay in it while you fast travel)
After fast traveling enable HUD, and no enemy will see you and you can get an instant assassination
For XP Glitch (you need to do the invisibility one first)
Travel to the Dark Weald in England (south-west of Winchestre) and find the Cat boss, ONLY KILL THE BIG CAT NOT THE SMALLER ONE) after killing it, run out of the area and return and rinse and repeat
Everybody save some time! After you kill him save, then just load that save don’t quit to main menu.

I found for the first portion of this it is easier to assassinate the strongest guy first and if you come up from behind them you can get a good chain assassination on then which makes it even quicker.

It seems the devs have caught on and removed it with the Yule patch. I followed this to the tee a few weeks ago and got like 30 tungsten in an hour. Now when I re load the manual save the dead bodies are still lying there and the tungsten-carrying guards are not spawning... any ideas?

I believe the patch with the yule festival patched this out. No enemies spawn for any resource at any of these locations.
They still do, you just can't reload the save and have them re appear. If you run along that road between the town and the river, there will be 1 or 2 patrols per round trip, so it's still pretty fast way to get tungsten
Do you have to have pledged to this area for these guys to be patrolling? Because they are not showing up at all, I have used my raven and also ridden up and down the roads and I only came across one patrol but they were just basic enemies that drop nothing.

I JUST WENT AND STARTED THE GAME WITH JUST THE MAIN STORY AND I REACHED ENGLAND I HAD 18 SKILL POINTS SO I PUT THEM IN ASSASSIN SKILL TREE UNTIL I OPEND CHAIN ASSASSINATION AND CHANGED THE SETTINGS IN GAMEPLAY TO GUARANTEED ASSASSINATION THAT MADE A GREAT DEAL EASER AND WHEN I FINISHED I GOT IT BACK TO DEFAULT
I go there and there's three or four patrols in and around that area but I go kill all the patrols then fast travel to ravensthorp and save it and then load that save and go again works eveytime
