I played it yesterday for one hour and got to the 2nd part of Kaldstad after defeating the boar boss.(With only 1 left on my health bar, haha) And I liked it, but expected the non-boss enemies to be much harder. Trying to play stealthy as much as I can, maybe that's why they seem easy. I have one hit assassination active in my settings...
@@vitabiskoeke7269 How do you activate guaranteed Assassination? In my game it's only work in England not with the forgotten DLC, when I get back to the DLC it changes the settings and turn off the guaranteed Assassination
I got through to the Wyrm/dragon for the second time yesterday. Almost beat him, but kept focussing on him and gave no attention to his warriors. And died. Hope to defeat it in my next run with fully upgraded Dwarven armor and good elemental abilities and runes. Gonna try it without using elk shrines. 🙂
Makes it good though. We never remember the games you just sail through. I found Hel harder to beat than the dragon. I was trying to kill her via arrows too much
You forgot the best thing. In the first stage after beating the headless warrior 3 times You get a permanent favour that grants 50% health when you die. Its a massive help.
The fact we got this completely for free is quite remarkable. Overall, having a great time, it's a fresh thing to lose all your stats and builds and have it randomized.
I highly recommend using the throwing shock axes ability and the flail wich increases speed after every kill. And keep upgrading and buying them for a new run, and keep every rune with shock damage. This build has saved me A LOT. When upgraded you can nearly kill like 3-4 enemies or have them stunned for a 1 hit kill within 5-10 seconds.. The flail is really OP if you keep spamming the light attack and you get an adrenaline bar really fast. If you use the axe ability close to the dragon's legs, you will hit them all four at the same time and you don't even have to aim them cause they all go directly to the legs. I used this load out on my second run and got all the way to Hela but died there unfortunately...
Throwing axe ability mixed with thors wrath I think it’s called(the one where you charge your weapon and strikes with lighting) is really really helpful with all bosses including hel. I beat hel with almost a full health bar
@@HighExplosiveShell Not with the right build. I'm using a build that increases my attack speed, attack damage, and increased crit damage after every hit. If you keep spinning with a light attack at the right moment without being interrupted, then bosses and tanks are pretty easy as long as you make sure you have an open window.
Hela is were I keep getting stuck on there is no elk to heal your health if it makes you fight a bunch of bad guys and tell you end them all and you can't just skip things you don't want to get like you don't need a weapon upgrade or a new weapon you still have to fight the people there though and then the portals were open and then you can go put by the time I get to heal my health is low
My theory about the Isu reality of this dlc is that Niflheim wasn't actually on Earth. Or even in real world. I think it's a simulation created by Hel in the Grey. That's why Baldr is there (Salakar could be connected to the Grey), why Odin gets resurrected after each death and why he doesn't get to choose his own weapons. So basically the whole dlc would be a memory of Isu Odin hooked up to the Grey via Yggdrasil, Matrix-style, navigating the simulation to find Baldr's consciousness
So we have those canon things: - Aesir + Vanir = norse Isu - jotuns = greek/roman Isu - fire giants = egyptian Isu You writed that Niflheim is The Gray, which makes a sense for me We also have: - Helheim = maybe same thing like Niflheim idk - Svartalfheim = I believe it's Eden where people was creating Pieces of Eden - Elves from Alfheim = they created such things like Salakar which (as a word) has persian/indian origins; maybe elves were asian Isu ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) What do you think about it?
@@the_brzoza_ Helheim is a location within Niflheim so yeah, pretty much the same thing Some people think that map of Svartalfheim is very similar to modern day Turkey but Svartalfheim could very well extend into eastern Africa, where Eden was located, bordering Muspelheim, as Darby said that the "realms" were big, general areas Alfheim - we have no clues so it might have as well been in Asia, who knows

Great DLC. Personally, not a fan of roguelike games, but even I could tell the passion poured into the update. Already finished it, great rewards, amazing environments & encounters plus a fun and rewarding loop
There’s a short sword called Leviathan. It has the ability to light on fire after three hits. Then there’s a rune that can make your sword poisonous after a heavy blow. Both can be used simultaneously. There’s also a shield name berserker it’s one of the legendary items after a couple of hits it’s around your body with fire hurting the enemy. I used it on Hel with no problem. I also health upgraded all the way to 385 going into Helhiem. I used multiple melee abilities like “Thors wrath”. Hope this helps someone .
I’ve beat it 4 times now. First try died on the 2nd phase of the dragon, second try died half way through the second region, 3rd/4th/5th/6th try i beat it. And about to start my 7th run after work
Probably one of thr greatest walk-throughs I've seen. Enjoyed your voice as you could tell your excitement for thr game, weapons, and story. Thanks for the video.
If you wanna run through this easily I recommend relying heavily on stacking status effects and runes that increase their potency. Be sure to also get a good amount of health and upgrade your abilities frequently because it pays off. I did a couple successful run-throughs with the niflheim set with a legendary sword that applies fire on crit and miljnor for stun both fully upgraded and straight cheesed through each boss encounter.
My runs used a maxed out Gungnir *(Very Effective Against The Dragon's Legs)* and the hunter bow that has essentially an overdraw ability. For my abilities I used noxious retreat as a primary melee ability as I used it to stun big enemies and kill the with my spear. For My second melee I used Jotuns Dive which is really good against Hel especially with runes that lead to more damage against frozen enemies. My main ranged ability was a maxed Focus of The Nornir which is pretty powerful with the overdraw bow. I managed to beat Hel with only 3 runs. The final boss fight was a bit tough but personally the dragon was worse with the sheer poison breath spam and the resurrection stunt. *Note: If using Gungnir you need to have atleast 1 rune boosting Speed and another boosting Critical Damage & Critical Chance for extra damage. Gungnir is good for keeping distance especially on low health. Have atleast over 240 Health by the time you reach Hel to not die* *(I recommend you get the Death Jarl armor set and weapons as it is good for combat. I recommend that you atleast have the Wolf Warrior (Wolf)skill and the Idunn's Heart (Bear) skill with the Heavy Dual Wield (Bear) skill and the Grit (Wolf) skill to use the gearset. I love the gearset as it essentially makes you a beast dealing massive damage at low health with the Wolf Warrior skill and taking reduced damage by 50% when at 30% HP or less.)* Edit: (Sorry for poor Grammer as I am typing this while sick with a body temp of 96F.)
I must admit,before this DLC became available,I was looking forward to it,but also a bit skeptical that it would be an easy run through,I am happy that I was mistaken about it. It is proving challenging and fun to play :)
One thing is that play time will be much higher if you're not skilled enough. I spent close to two hours and not even killed the first stage boss before dying. Some mechanics and the map confusion contributed of course.
I found that for boss #1 & #2 ranged attacks worked best. Then Nidhogg pretty much requires Explosive Powder trap (Gungnir is a great melee option due to him moving around the reach comes in handy) Your going to have to melee to get your adrenaline back to Powder trap. (Bow is far too slow) Hel is not too bad. Just be on your toes on the journey to her as you have to defeat all enemies enroute or the portals to get you there won't open. Make sure you have a decent amount of health when you walk through the door.
Did a full run last night and beat Hel and I gotta say, I had a much harder time with Nidhogg. Maybe I got lucky with Hel, but man did Nidhogg put me through the wringer. Definitely gonna need that incendiary powder trap next time

@@MartinSeda he sat on his fat ass and never showed his feet, his neck was also refusing to take damage aswell, the hits registered, but the bar never moved
Fun story: I started this game mode and played it about 20 times (exageration but still it was a lot up to 4k memories accumulated) went all the way to Nidhogg without upgrading anything. and it was HELL getting there. So after all that pain and suffering, I noticed Munim (or whatever the name is) at the entrance and find out about the abilities... then basically unlocked 70% of the ability tree at once and boom, new kind of hell...
Yeah, I couldn't remember where Munim was, went through it twice and on my death I had 1,455 memories. I looked it up on RUclips and immediately got melee, ranged and new adrenalin perks. There is a real benefit to adding these for your play. Makes you stronger for sure.
This is just more proof that Ubisoft just don't not listen to any of their fans. Not a single person asked for or wanted a rouge lite assassin's creed 🤦🏼♂️ thank fuck it was free! Great vid Andy 🤙🏻🤙🏻🤙🏻
After getting ALL the achievements on Elden Ring, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3 and Sekiro. This was a breath of fresh air that still gave me those souls-like vibes. I had my fair share of re-runs, but when I finally reached Hel, I was able to beat her on the first try with the Draugrs Toll armor, which scored me 2 achievements at once. That made my week lol.
As long as you are good at dodging and have the top and left sides of the skill tree mostly filled, you just need any spear and the incendiary trap at level 3 and you will beat it with ease👌🏿 the runes giving you poison/fire cloud on heavy finish are amazing too and it’s been rare for me but 4 health on heavy finish is a great combo with all the aforementioned things👍🏿 really enjoying this game mode even though it’s relatively easy once you know what you’re doing
Another health tip is to get the rune that gives you +5HP per ruin you have. By the time you get to Hel you could have over 400 hp like I did on the run that I beat Hel with. I also highly suggest doing all side quests as the permanent favors really help, especially the heal up half way one.
#1 thing to get his a Hunter Bow (or Light bow if that's your thing) that's legendary. I got "Stjoliborg" and maxed it out and added "Incendiary Trap" explosive Ability. Fighting the Lava Giant is one where it's all headshots to beat it. Don't try to go up against it with melee. #2 is eventually you'll get the "Dwarven Defender" armor that has Grit, which returns health, AND Idunn's Heart that regenerates it. During my first run against the final Boss Hel, I was gaining health as fast as I was losing it. Made it easy. Expect to die on your first 2 runs. Always buy your good bow back first when you die. Use your memory points after that.
Its a rogue-lite mode. It sucks but that's exactly what they were intending with this mode. Hades is the best rogue-lite ever. And I don't like the genre, so that's saying something. you lose certain things on death (these perk/upgrades) but there are also permanent upgrades and permanent weapons that have truly different play-styles. The NPCs react to your victories and losses and you learn more about them and yourself. Its a very great game despite death starting you from the beginning there is progression and rewards for dying too. Similar to unlocking the skill tree when you die once in this game's The Forgotten Saga mode This is just an imitation in a game that wasn't truly designed to be a rogue-lite and it may have been played by an audience that doesn't like rogue-lites in the first place as well.
I gave up for now I made it to the third region died and now I’m stuck with the second boss and if I’m stuck with him there’s no way I’m taking down that dragon impossible I’m all for difficulty in game but if it seems impossible that’s where I draw the line because no matter how I go about it can’t kick his ass like I did the 1st time glad I’m not like i used to be or my controller would be smashed I’m not buying another PS5 controller because my last one had stick drift and a charging problem my new don’t it’s works perfectly
Great vid man, im having a lot of fun with this new mode. Ive got 4 characters that im rotating through so im having a blast. By the way ive got to say it my man, I think Thanos snapped the "Thanos armor"set out of existence. Its become a myth the white whale, the blood elf set was mentioned in the notes but the Thanos set snap its gone. Looking forward to the next content my guy!
Playin this for first time. The boss with the big back eye.. he fkn lit the whole area on fire. Took my whole health. Boop dead.. not feelin this mode but cant stop playin it..
The story again was kinda vague but I'm assuming the light heading across to the Hel's tower is Baldrs light, the area may be a set of Islands across the ocean(you can see Ygrasil which is behind Svartfalfheim). It also seems like Hel is using Apples(probably stolen after the Musple invasion) to create her beasts. I like that Eivor is clearly more aware of what's happening too. The gameplay here was definitely the high point here. Wonder what secrets have been added to the files with this update 😁😁
Do you think this DLC takes place in the middle of the Dawn of Ragnorok or after. To me it feels like this may been cut from the main DLC expansion which would make sense why DoR was a short as it was and not what was orginally said.
@@pixelcount350 it was definitely supposed to be part of it but then got reworked as free content to possibly bring sales up for DoR. I don't get how you end it though cause I've bought all the gear and caught Hel three times now and I still have a quest marker in Ravensthorpe.

Using the maxed dwarven armor for health regen, gungnir spear for distance and every poison protection I could find, my last run was a cakewalk. If you are good at dodging, enemies will rarely touch you and if they do, you completely heal the hit if not hit again for a couple seconds. 319, that's the lowest health the Dragon too me down to...
@@dianafox7188 If it helps, Nidhogg is a pushover with the incendiary powder trap arrow. Super easy that way. Works very well on Hel also. I finished 2 days ago.
I finished after my 4th try, and making sure to upgrade the dwarf armor and keeping a flame sword with the favors This mode is savage if you dont have a path to follow
I had played through so many times before finding out there was a skill tree 😭 I made it all the way to Helheim after that damn dragon but died against the first group there. I had so much Memories I was able to unlock a little more than half of the skill tree. So many emotions but it was so satisfying. Especially after getting the Dwarven Defender armour.
And! Yes me too likewise I too feel the same and can relate to that last thing that you said in the end about how I just got done finished ✅ playing the 2nd run through of the Walkthrough AC Valhalla with Male Eivor and let me tell you something based upon which you’ve said that “”if we die and have to start all the way over again from the beginning”” that the “”DLC Resets itself again””? Say what !! Really?! Seriously? Why ?! This is madness so is it that every time we win we go back and have to replay again like we did the first time only via every Hel-helm outfit we earn from our quest during our journeys throughout the x4 lands or what?
I played this many times before I realized that there was a skill tree to make life easier. I made it all the way to the final boss and died before I found out. I thought it was all about the luck of what you got to be able to through all the way. The good news is that, because I didn't know and I had played enough times, I had enough memories to purchase every single skill available. The next run I do should be SO much easier and should end in a win. Side note - how the hell do you get the other vendor and the beginning to show up?
Just a couple of questions: 1. As far as I understand, you can't free roam the map after you defeated Hel? 1.2. What about if you haven't completed all the side quests? 2. How hard is the DLC for a pretty average to bad player? Is it like Mastery Challenge difficulty and as annoying as Mastery Challenges? 3. Since when you die you get new cutscenes and story progression, is there a limit to dying? By this I mean a limit of times you die when after dying you stop getting any new cutscenes and progression/story elements because you've died so many times?
I'm a tiny bit confused (I haven't and won't by Ragnarok, so maybe that's why?)... So I'll just have to jump into this DLC and work it out myself. Awesome video though - as always! :)

Boss fights are fun but the overall gamemode is kinda repetitive. And I don't see the point why we can't use our hard earned gear and level in this mode as there are various ways for they to improve difficulty
Didn't answer my question, Do dream crystals add up after every run if you don't spend them? Say i want the wolf for 90 dreams, and I only have 76, if I run through again, do I keep them or do they reset?

I cant explain the anger i felt after i spent 13hr and 37min and 14sec straight just to get the hel aromor thinking i would be able to use it just to not be able to

Yo Andy what's good bro I'm at settlement level 3 have seers hut went to asgard synchronised there then returned back to ravensthorpe and nope nothing can't seem to get the dlc to start won't show up in settlement any ideas ?
It might be because I've been playing for several hours and it now is almost 4 am for me but... Is there really no way of returning to Ravensthorpe without having defeated Hel? I cant seem to find a way to return to Ravensthorpe or to save the game.. ( Have ended up just closing the game )

That's not entirely true, upon leaving the dream sequence or trance again, I was able to access all of the armor and purchase, once freja came by.
I can’t explain the amount of emotions I felt when the dang dragon got back up after defeating it the first time.

I actually went through it without dying. But it does help get past the Boss's. It's called "Summon Courage" I believe.
That and saving the resources to keep legendary weapons. In particular mlonjir

Flail is great against normal enemies. But it suck’s absolute infinite balls against bosses.

*Note: If using Gungnir you need to have atleast 1 rune boosting Speed and another boosting Critical Damage & Critical Chance for extra damage. Gungnir is good for keeping distance especially on low health. Have atleast over 240 Health by the time you reach Hel to not die*
*(I recommend you get the Death Jarl armor set and weapons as it is good for combat. I recommend that you atleast have the Wolf Warrior (Wolf)skill and the Idunn's Heart (Bear) skill with the Heavy Dual Wield (Bear) skill and the Grit (Wolf) skill to use the gearset. I love the gearset as it essentially makes you a beast dealing massive damage at low health with the Wolf Warrior skill and taking reduced damage by 50% when at 30% HP or less.)*

I must admit,before this DLC became available,I was looking forward to it,but also a bit skeptical that it would be an easy run through,I am happy that I was mistaken about it.

One thing is that play time will be much higher if you're not skilled enough. I spent close to two hours and not even killed the first stage boss before dying. Some mechanics and the map confusion contributed of course.
I found that for boss #1 & #2 ranged attacks worked best. Then Nidhogg pretty much requires Explosive Powder trap (Gungnir is a great melee option due to him moving around the reach comes in handy) Your going to have to melee to get your adrenaline back to Powder trap. (Bow is far too slow) Hel is not too bad. Just be on your toes on the journey to her as you have to defeat all enemies enroute or the portals to get you there won't open. Make sure you have a decent amount of health when you walk through the door.
Did a full run last night and beat Hel and I gotta say, I had a much harder time with Nidhogg. Maybe I got lucky with Hel, but man did Nidhogg put me through the wringer. Definitely gonna need that incendiary powder trap next time

@@MartinSeda he sat on his fat ass and never showed his feet, his neck was also refusing to take damage aswell, the hits registered, but the bar never moved
Nice tip about the skill tree I didn't know that. It is so frustrating when you die and have to start again.
Fun story:
I started this game mode and played it about 20 times (exageration but still it was a lot up to 4k memories accumulated) went all the way to Nidhogg without upgrading anything. and it was HELL getting there. So after all that pain and suffering, I noticed Munim (or whatever the name is) at the entrance and find out about the abilities... then basically unlocked 70% of the ability tree at once and boom, new kind of hell...
Yeah, I couldn't remember where Munim was, went through it twice and on my death I had 1,455 memories. I looked it up on RUclips and immediately got melee, ranged and new adrenalin perks. There is a real benefit to adding these for your play. Makes you stronger for sure.
This is just more proof that Ubisoft just don't not listen to any of their fans. Not a single person asked for or wanted a rouge lite assassin's creed 🤦🏼♂️ thank fuck it was free!

I like it but I'm really a big fan of the first 2 AC I've played them all. The 1st 2 are my favorite( with Desmon) The story line was excellent.

After getting ALL the achievements on Elden Ring, Dark Souls 2, Dark Souls 3 and Sekiro. This was a breath of fresh air that still gave me those souls-like vibes. I had my fair share of re-runs, but when I finally reached Hel, I was able to beat her on the first try with the Draugrs Toll armor, which scored me 2 achievements at once. That made my week lol.

Seriously such good and quality content from the info to the cuts to the effects used. Just awesome.
As long as you are good at dodging and have the top and left sides of the skill tree mostly filled, you just need any spear and the incendiary trap at level 3 and you will beat it with ease👌🏿 the runes giving you poison/fire cloud on heavy finish are amazing too and it’s been rare for me but 4 health on heavy finish is a great combo with all the aforementioned things👍🏿 really enjoying this game mode even though it’s relatively easy once you know what you’re doing
God this is anxiety inducing really feels like a fight for your life in hel. They did a amazing job
Another health tip is to get the rune that gives you +5HP per ruin you have. By the time you get to Hel you could have over 400 hp like I did on the run that I beat Hel with. I also highly suggest doing all side quests as the permanent favors really help, especially the heal up half way one.
I never knew there was a skill tree until I looked this up I maxed it out cuz I had so many memories
#1 thing to get his a Hunter Bow (or Light bow if that's your thing) that's legendary. I got "Stjoliborg" and maxed it out and added "Incendiary Trap" explosive Ability. Fighting the Lava Giant is one where it's all headshots to beat it. Don't try to go up against it with melee.
#2 is eventually you'll get the "Dwarven Defender" armor that has Grit, which returns health, AND Idunn's Heart that regenerates it. During my first run against the final Boss Hel, I was gaining health as fast as I was losing it. Made it easy.
Expect to die on your first 2 runs. Always buy your good bow back first when you die. Use your memory points after that.

Its a rogue-lite mode. It sucks but that's exactly what they were intending with this mode.
Hades is the best rogue-lite ever. And I don't like the genre, so that's saying something. you lose certain things on death (these perk/upgrades) but there are also permanent upgrades and permanent weapons that have truly different play-styles. The NPCs react to your victories and losses and you learn more about them and yourself. Its a very great game despite death starting you from the beginning there is progression and rewards for dying too. Similar to unlocking the skill tree when you die once in this game's The Forgotten Saga mode
This is just an imitation in a game that wasn't truly designed to be a rogue-lite and it may have been played by an audience that doesn't like rogue-lites in the first place as well.
I gave up for now I made it to the third region died and now I’m stuck with the second boss and if I’m stuck with him there’s no way I’m taking down that dragon impossible I’m all for difficulty in game but if it seems impossible that’s where I draw the line because no matter how I go about it can’t kick his ass like I did the 1st time glad I’m not like i used to be or my controller would be smashed I’m not buying another PS5 controller because my last one had stick drift and a charging problem my new don’t it’s works perfectly

Great vid man, im having a lot of fun with this new mode. Ive got 4 characters that im rotating through so im having a blast. By the way ive got to say it my man, I think Thanos snapped the "Thanos armor"set out of existence. Its become a myth the white whale, the blood elf set was mentioned in the notes but the Thanos set snap its gone. Looking forward to the next content my guy!
Playin this for first time. The boss with the big back eye.. he fkn lit the whole area on fire. Took my whole health. Boop dead.. not feelin this mode but cant stop playin it..
After beating this twice, I can safely say that spears will carry you in here easily and so will lightning axe or whatever the skill was called
The story again was kinda vague but I'm assuming the light heading across to the Hel's tower is Baldrs light, the area may be a set of Islands across the ocean(you can see Ygrasil which is behind Svartfalfheim). It also seems like Hel is using Apples(probably stolen after the Musple invasion) to create her beasts. I like that Eivor is clearly more aware of what's happening too. The gameplay here was definitely the high point here. Wonder what secrets have been added to the files with this update 😁😁
Ubisoft should release this DLC earlier.
Do you think this DLC takes place in the middle of the Dawn of Ragnorok or after. To me it feels like this may been cut from the main DLC expansion which would make sense why DoR was a short as it was and not what was orginally said.
@@pixelcount350 it was definitely supposed to be part of it but then got reworked as free content to possibly bring sales up for DoR. I don't get how you end it though cause I've bought all the gear and caught Hel three times now and I still have a quest marker in Ravensthorpe.

Using the maxed dwarven armor for health regen, gungnir spear for distance and every poison protection I could find, my last run was a cakewalk. If you are good at dodging, enemies will rarely touch you and if they do, you completely heal the hit if not hit again for a couple seconds. 319, that's the lowest health the Dragon too me down to...
I gave up on the game a month ago because I completed it but I'm sure this will bring me back

@@dianafox7188 If it helps, Nidhogg is a pushover with the incendiary powder trap arrow. Super easy that way. Works very well on Hel also. I finished 2 days ago.

It took me on my fifth run to beat the loki daughter. The hardest boss for me was the dragon boss
Extra storylines end at the third run, my fourth run was the exact same as my third.
I finished after my 4th try, and making sure to upgrade the dwarf armor and keeping a flame sword with the favors
This mode is savage if you dont have a path to follow

I had played through so many times before finding out there was a skill tree 😭 I made it all the way to Helheim after that damn dragon but died against the first group there. I had so much Memories I was able to unlock a little more than half of the skill tree. So many emotions but it was so satisfying. Especially after getting the Dwarven Defender armour.
Using the dwarven defender armor at max level was the difference to me along with using the mjolnir and summoned courage
Spear is absolutely goated, that's all Ive learned after like.. 20 runs. Still on the second area.

Yes me too likewise I too feel the same and can relate to that last thing that you said in the end about how I just got done finished ✅ playing the 2nd run through of the Walkthrough AC Valhalla with Male Eivor and let me tell you something based upon which you’ve said that “”if we die and have to start all the way over again from the beginning”” that the “”DLC Resets itself again””? Say what !! Really?! Seriously? Why ?! This is madness so is it that every time we win we go back and have to replay again like we did the first time only via every Hel-helm outfit we earn from our quest during our journeys throughout the x4 lands or what?
I played this many times before I realized that there was a skill tree to make life easier. I made it all the way to the final boss and died before I found out. I thought it was all about the luck of what you got to be able to through all the way. The good news is that, because I didn't know and I had played enough times, I had enough memories to purchase every single skill available. The next run I do should be SO much easier and should end in a win. Side note - how the hell do you get the other vendor and the beginning to show up?
Just a couple of questions:
1. As far as I understand, you can't free roam the map after you defeated Hel?
1.2. What about if you haven't completed all the side quests?
2. How hard is the DLC for a pretty average to bad player? Is it like Mastery Challenge difficulty and as annoying as Mastery Challenges?
3. Since when you die you get new cutscenes and story progression, is there a limit to dying? By this I mean a limit of times you die when after dying you stop getting any new cutscenes and progression/story elements because you've died so many times?
After you beat Hel you go back to start again.
I'm a tiny bit confused (I haven't and won't by Ragnarok, so maybe that's why?)... So I'll just have to jump into this DLC and work it out myself. Awesome video though - as always! :)

Boss fights are fun but the overall gamemode is kinda repetitive. And I don't see the point why we can't use our hard earned gear and level in this mode as there are various ways for they to improve difficulty

I got a question: how do you equip the runes in a Gear? I've tried everything, but I'm unable to use the runes they just sit in my inventory. :/

Yo Andy what's good bro I'm at settlement level 3 have seers hut went to asgard synchronised there then returned back to ravensthorpe and nope nothing can't seem to get the dlc to start won't show up in settlement any ideas ?
It might be because I've been playing for several hours and it now is almost 4 am for me but... Is there really no way of returning to Ravensthorpe without having defeated Hel? I cant seem to find a way to return to Ravensthorpe or to save the game.. ( Have ended up just closing the game )
When you die and go back to Odin 's camp, there is a portal that when you go close to it, it says "wake up". That will take you to Ravensthorpe
