I finished Valhalla a few days ago i put about 230 hours into the game and did everything i could and i already miss it what a game and the story is epic.
Anyone who got the game for Christmas you will love it so amazing.

Just got the game! Its SOOO fun! Im from norway and have been in some of the places and found a little easter egg! After you free your crew in the start you can go to an island called "Ikke en Oy"/ikke en øy which means not an island, thought that was kinda funny

Pro tip: If u use the critical chance build and equip the Forstruin, you can get unlimited adrenaline. If u knock an enemy down using the upgraded kick ability the enemy remains on the ground for some seconds during that time u can use the frostruin attack to refill your adrenaline.

There is a 2 handed Axe that lights people on fire that is super strong and you can get it really early, highly recommend it. I used it up until I got Thor's set.

Best combo in my opinion is Lagerthas Axt and Odins Spear so broken if you hold L1/Lb and R1/Rb at the same time easy killing 3-6 enemies at the same time

I rocked Varins axe and raider axe both upgraded and leveled completely and I started wrath of the Druids and I’ve been going between Excalibur and Lagerthas axe🙏🏻🤟🏻great weapons

Dual wielding spears is the most op in the game. Quickly tapping light attack is just insane levels of broken. Lol

I just grabbed Mournful Cry from Reda. I put +4 Stun, +2 Crit Chance runes in it, haven't found a +2.7 yet. I also like Lagertha's Axe. I loaded that one up with +4.9 Crit Damage runes :)
A bit late, but just discovered a very OP weapon combo, In main hand any weapon that deals area attack on light on heavy finisher (scale carver) and Gae bolg in the off hand, you get the best of both the weapons on finishers.

I was lucky to be able to buy the Frost Flail right away with my starting opals first time I met the shop *I didn't know I was lucky until this video* yet it's the only one I use since I enjoy the flailspin. With a heavy shield tho since I looove stomping people on a blockstun. The adrenaline I haven't even thought of filling up quickly because I have so many skills I don't even know anymore. I am one of those just exploring taking down entire camps so I level up too fast. 100hrs not started on the 190+ areas.
*P.S Pro tip: Get the stomp and as many knowledge books as you can. Until you get the lvl 2 bird assist and the rope pull is just so frikkin OP it's not even fun anymore xD*
I love my Excalibur/Scimitar sword combo 👍🔥 keeps enemies at a distance and packs a punch!

Kopis with the rune that knocks enemies down with heavy attacks is just insanely op when dual wielding. You hit so fast that every other attack knocks them down. Total stun lock!
there may be something better, but here’s what i use:
Fully upgraded Thegn Armor
Fully upgraded Blacksmith’s hammer
Fully upgraded Suttungr’s Claw
Runes of Finesse in both weapons
1 rare armor rune (increase speed when parrying)
2 rare weapon runes (one for increasing speed when close to full health, and the other increasing critical chance after each hit you land)
Play style: fuck using your bow, get up close and personal. fight as you usually would, and wait until you see an opening in the enemy’s defense. when you do, activate your second hand special move (the nice stabbing move) to do some good damage.
I personally rock Odin’s spear and Thor’s hammer with full Thor’s set, it’s the spear I grab enemy’s and I pull them towards or damage the ones who keep dogging attacks. And I use Thor’s hammer to do some ez high area damage
Try Odin’s spear with Spear of Leonidas in the off hand
Nobody’s touching you ever again

I used to do that too, Now I use the sword of Eden instead of scimitar.

Honestly I'm not liking the fantasy armors. I'd like them to stick with historically accurate weapons amd armor. At least close to it anyways.

Yeah probably one of the better fantasy gear, although I'm more of a historical type gear myself. I was hoping the weapons had a freeze perk that kinda freezes, slows them down a bit when hit. Thought it might add to the weapons look

Blacksmith hammer was my MH for most of the game. I did replace with mjolnir. Id have both as S tier.
Coming back to Joraptor for ac valhalla updates ones again just like ac odyssey days. My goodness the ending... i didnt even know those endings are endings already!!

Nice weapons I was wondering, I can't decide on which armor to use with my Excalibur blade. Mentor or Thegn armor set. And maybe dual wield Excalibur with another greatsword (e.g. Scimitar) or another weapon or just use the Excalibur only. Could you maybe give me some tips on that? P.S. Sorry for my bad english, I'm from Belgium so my english isn't really great.

I just think about that can you like dual wild thor hammer and the last spear you talked in the video i don’t remember the name so that you have a ranged weapon and thor hammer to deal with close combat encounter that would pretty cool. I haven’t start the game yet just trying some idea in my head.
Mjolnir is still the best weapon post Terranis pack. But it just got even better with the addition of "Thunderer" Terranis thunder axe. In addition 2 Mondriant + 3 Mentors with damage runes and crit chance runes makes it arguably the best setup. I'm literally untouchable... I can parry away any attack with Thunderer. Then you can either do quick strikes by holding LB or knock enemies on their ass with Mjolnir

Mjolnir needs to do more stun damage on its effect. It's my favorite weapon, but not to use. Fyrd Spear and the helix store Spear are my 2 best weapons.
I dual wield Gugnir and Mjolner (I don’t know how to spell). With spear in main hand and the hammer in the off hand. It’s fun and pretty good. I recommend doing it
Surely there is no second Gungnir, but maybe you can put it on second hand, with a Dane axe in main hand. Use running attack to start, and then the second heavy attack and the third heavy attack (heavy finisher) are both swipe, which have HIGH damage INCREDIBLY large AOE area. Also, put Gungnir on second hand gives you longer harpoon.
Suttungr + Kopis combo is best weapons in game specially combinated with right runes. Slow weapons are not worth. I was very inspired for Excalibur and take it early and play a lot with it until I found out is not good compared to daggers or spears who I test later. With those 2 daggers I make much more damage then any sword combination because my hits hurt the same but I hit like 5 times faster....., also heavy weapons if miss have big opening opponent to hurt you back, with daggers I recover much faster and can become untouchable while making huge damage destroying them up to total domination with brigantine set and more runes for damage while being attack by more enemies

You can actually go get Odin's spear when you have all four adrenaline bars not after the story mode so you can get it by like power 140 or 150 I think
I combo Excalibur and suttungrs claw and the runes that I put on make the combo even better
actually Moonlight Dane Axe would be a dope weapon but ubisoft has to bring it back first 😕
I have it its not that good
finished the main story with spear of leonidas and laughs spear dual wield. This in my opinion were the most effective dual wield as far as power and speed concerns. Once I finished the main story I changed to gungnir and spear of leonidas dual wield and this is in my opinion are the most effective combo in the entire game. However my another favorite is the hells scythe and the balhrafn scythe dual wield. This is probably the most powerful combo in the game but not as fast as the dual spear. bought the hells scythe at oskoreia festival in ravensthorpe with festival token and bought the balhrafn scythe from vagn , the river raid guy with foreign materials. those scythes really look badass in mythical. My new favorites are the Kopis dagger in main hand and Verickas sickle in the left hand. These are not the most powerful weapon in the game by any means however the effectiveness of this dual wield is far better than anything I have used. Kopis generates some health everytime you kill an enemy. That means my health meter never goes down. And verickas sickle just burns everything down after the third kill. It also puts the weapon on the other hand on fire so you can basically burn an entire army with this combo without losing any health. This dual wield with mentors armor set is just too good.
so when you are spamming the light attack button it does this combo where at the end you do a heavy attack

I got the Dark Elf set, and it completely broke the game balance. The Sinners Skull flail increases your attack every time your health gets regenerated, and the broken wings shield heals you on every successful block. When you combine the two, you basically gat an infinite attack buff.
Until new mythical weapons appear in the DLC my load out is the Excalibur in Main hand, Thors hammer in second hand and the issue bow on top with armor and the altar outfit
Question: is the perk of the spinning death really worth it? I've been using the iron star since almost the beginning now and the stats of the iron star (besides speed) are all better. So should I switch to spinning death or no?
Man i like the iron star at first then when i tried new weapons the iron star felt like shit its too slow and then i used a sword . But if you like weapons like that its good to switch to spinning death

I've been going with the fyrd spear and fafnir fang combo and they're so fast, it eats through opponents.
Fyrd spear is hella good.. especially when duel wielded with another spear👀

@@santiagobermudez6497 Theres a skill that allows you to wield 2 two-handed weapons at once. I forgot where exactly it's located on the skill tree, but it's somewhere on the top left. You can Google it easy though :)

Excalibur feels pretty disappointing after dual wielding fyrd spear and cadfarch spear. Those things mow down anything and everything in like 2 seconds. Maybe I just don’t have the right runes/skills for the great sword.
Marc W maxed out spear has lower attack than maxed out sword, so I don’t know what you talking about
My top 5:
5: House carls axe. Its way more unforgiving than Varins axe, but deals more damage. Would recomend for more exsperienced players.
4: Varins axe. Good for newer players. Recomend paring it with a shield for newer players, for exsperienced players I recomend duel wielding it with housecarls axe
3: Exscalibur. A very endgame weapon. It hits like a truck, but is as slow as one.
2:Meolnir. A very endgame weapon. A weapon that can be pared with anything. I mostly use it with a shield or Gunginir
1:Gunginir. A very endgame weapon. The broken spear in the game. Pare it with another spear and you will be unstoppable.

Spent all my opal on the poison hammer, didn’t feel right and I went back to Varins axe
The best thing about Mjonir is the effect and the sound profile, I wouldn't even care if it doesn't do anything to the enemies.
