Best bow in my opinion is Draka( dlc pack) and Hunnish bow ( had from the start almost fully upgraded)both hunter bows

@@beni2565 We have, but not the way we are used to. Liked we could double kill from jumping on them and is not available in Valhalla. The "double kill" on Valhalla, just works if the second enemy is not aware of you too
Yeah i miss the chain assasination skill from odyseey.
The chain (double) assassination is in valhalla as a skill tree perk. The reason there's no double hidden blade is because it wasn't invented till later.

You forgot the bow you get from completing the Essex quest arc. The Arc of Elan. Its beautiful and has an insane power level when you upgrade it to mythical.

They need quick bow swap out perk so don’t have to got to inventory every time to switch out bows
They had that in Origins and I loved it.. but it was just standard. Not a perk.

@@Southernboy302 I think what he meant was a skill in the skill tree. Like you have dual swap in bear tree, to add to the wolf tree "Bow swap" skill that would swap your primary and secondary bow. Possibly having this possible only after unlocking "secondary bow" skill first.

Hey thanks, man!! I snuck up there and got the bow in one Save Try. I hit the rock like 20 times before I saved and reloaded, so it may be a number of times you hit it. Best part is, I am a lowly 75 that snuck up there and now has an epic bow!!! Love it!
Skaldi wrath is the best by far. It’s fast quick and rapid (light arrows) especially once it’s mythical and fully upgraded. Run it with double knives and ur gonna be quick asf and can move anywhere quickly especially with the right gear
I miss armor with poison and fire coated. We had this armors on Origins and Odyssey ☹
Cool thing about the bullseye predator that ive notice is that it also procs when you use your secondary assassination.

Great run down on the best bows for AC Valhalla my personal favorite is noden's arc, aka the isu bow.
I test all bows in game Spartan also but my favorite remain Skadi's Wrath
What makes the Spartan Bow the best bow sofar got me is that you can get it in the earliest parts of the game and the Spartan bow can be upgraded to Mythical with no resource cost ie. Tungsten or Nickle.
You know, as a Hungarian, I'm pretty proud of that one of the best bows is called "Magyar". Magyar means Hungarian in Hungarian. 🤣

its a very nice bow simple to use when you want its perk to activate,just do pew-pew.
i would say it depends on a playstyle,personally running what i call a thegn build as its centred around thegn armor set and as being a crit+parry build,parrying to build crit chance thanks to armor´s buffs so any weapon building crit chance like viper bow,taking advantage of parrying like breton shield or taking advantage of critting like kopis dagger works here,can be nicely mixed with a 2/5 bonus from mentor or draugr sets as well,if one prefers that instead of thegn´s 5/5 increased crit damage bonus.
oh and not only daggers can be fast,2 one handed axes can do that fast slashing nice looking combo also nicely building up stuff.personally i´d go 2 axes over 2 daggers any time for it seems each time i do a parry damage and the enemy falter s/je actually gets out of the dagger strike radius and thus each time i do make em falter i need to make extra step or two towards them,while 2 axes still are within a reach of such faltered enemy...but so far i cant find the rune with kopis´ perk (while i do have a rune with briton shield´s already) and thus kinda forced to stay with the weapon if willing to do a "healing hands" (for in each hand i hold a weapon capable of healing me) combat

The bullseye is good, damage-wise too. That’s the predator bow I’ve used basically the entire game. But I mainly use hunter or light bows. But the best light bow is the death skald. Easily. It does a lot more damage than any of the others cuz it’s a bear bow. Most light bows are raven bows. Plus the crit chance for being lighter, it’s crucial. I mainly use the noden’s arc and the death skald. Those 2 are the best.
There's not much reason to switch from the starting bow in my opinion. I completed the game with it as my main bow. Never had an issue. :)

Spartan or Viper bow are the best bows if you're just looking for passive benefits. Too many bows have perks activated on weak point hits.
Can you not draw back the string on predator bows? On mine you can only click R2 and it shoots instantly. Defeats the whole point of pulling back a heavy bow especially with the trigger resistance.
I love the hunter bows but the predator bows are my top favorite cause love the idea of playing a viking sniper. Lol

hey jorraptor i hope you see this because i really dont know what to do (there are some minor spoilers from the story). in the end of the licolncire story arc when you need to choose a leader i chose the bishop and then after some time he turned out to be a templar and you need to pledge again right? so every time i try to pledge again the game gets stuck in the allaince map and i have to restart, i am almost done with all pledges except for this one... does anyone have any advice what to do? i dont wanna finish the game and not to do this, and sorry if my english is wrong thank you for reading.

Hey Joraptor, I have a question that I hope you can answer, a buddy of mine got the gold edition of AC:Valhalla and when he tried redeeming it , the Sony store said its not available, what should he do?
I use the first bow I have found. It was a hunter bow and now I am used to it. I can’t use predator bows and light bows.
The light bow is really useful in close combat can kill enemys very quick I only use the hunter bow when I run out of light bow arrows
I also use hunter bows, I think they are more versatile, and I used the first bow I found for a lot of time in the game.
nearly exclusively into light bows for their speed tho sometimes feeling in a mood of experimenting with armor weapon builds with a hunter bow as well.
Light bow is a stat stick for me. I just like the added crit chance from the Spartan or Viper bow. Wish they had a hunter bow with that perk on it. They need to extend the time on the crit chance tho...2 and 2.5 seconds is not even close enough.

Imo best rune for bow is deploying sleep bomb after hitting headshot, so you can easily kill small groups of enemies by first headshoting middle one then assassinate the rest

@@MrPowow you realize that’s not all it is right? Granted compared to other jobs it may not seem as hard but at the same time it’s still a difficult thing to do. They have to be on a schedule, they have to edit, they have to make videos on all sorts of different games, it can burn you out. Is it hectic? By your standards probably not-but it does get exhausting after a while especially if you’re on a constant grind and uploading DAILY.

Does the crit chance on a bow really apply to the main or off-hand? I don't think it does. When I equip or unequip crit chance items, the stat listed does not chance in the main hand.

Will they fix going bald when wearing any helmet? All except the Raven Clan Helmet seems to have that issue. Kinda strange.

I’d say bows or any weapon depends on your play style, I’m happy with the bow you start with, the Hunnish bow
I got my bow immediately and my favorite spear I got like 2 hours into the game. Second spear I got when I first visited in the Norway (Carolingian which I later swapped with Gungnir) and the Huntsman armor I got during the first 2 pledges.
Wouldnt swap away from them because they are all so good.

@@DarthDainese Well, not exactly from the start, I think you had the Berserker armor as soon as I got my Carolingian armor (when i came with the rescued crew to the Raven clan Norse settlement) and went to the blacksmith to upgrade the Varin's axe - then I picked up the Carolingian set. Or you really have Berserker right from the get go?
@@Dark_Voice well I say the start, it basically is, it’s before Sigurd shows up, I got the collector’s edition so I got a code for the berserker armor, at power 163 I’m still wearing it, it’s fully upgraded
@@DarthDainese It was not criticism, I just asked because I bought the Ultimate edition and wanted to know whether you got it immediately or not because I had to wait for those I got (Berserker and Carolingian sets) only when I did the mission to go to the blacksmith. Because I will most likely do a new playthrough for New Game + when it comes out.

he might be able but these "best of this kind" in valhalla with be just a personal opinion as there are some suited for one situation (like lagertha´s axe+fafnir´s fang spear combined with brigadine armor are very nice when you know that you are going to clear bandit camp,fort or so as these do have a perks increasing stats when surrounded by enemies)
All the weapons are really close, as far as damage goes, some hit harder but are slower and some hit faster but not as much damage per hit. So basically it's based around your personal playstyle. So what's "best" for you... may not be "best" for me for instance. I'm level 470ish and even on Very Hard I shit on everything. Had to start using stuff that I hadn't upgraded to get some kind of challenge.

I bought the new Hel’s damnation pack from the helix store yesterday and they showed up in my inventory as superior status with one rune slot on each piece and it will not let me enhance them to flawless or mythical status it is a pretty big bummer it was 2000 helix credits has anyone else had this happen to them

For everyone wanting a "best" video... "best" is subjective to your playstyle. I have almost 200 hours in this game and I'm level like 470. Fully built Thor's armor with Mjolnir with or without an offhand built with all kinds of different rune set ups all seem to hit roughly the same DPS. Some weapons are slower but do bigger damage number while others are faster and do smaller numbers but at the end of the day, even on very hard, this game is very easy. So just play the way that you want to play it. The content isn't hard enough to worry about how much crit your doing or whatever.
How do you hit the stun bow finisher?
Petra's bow perk says "close to full health" does this also include actual full health or do you need a bit of damage on you to qualify?
Its 90 %+ and it was changed from "at full health" on release to avoid misinforming people who thought its only 100%.

Ok, in this video, you said in this video that you could "Use/Run up to an enemy with Mjolnir" at 4:38-4:40 in your video.
However, how can you get Molnir early in the game to pull this off, when you have to get all of "Thors Armor" in order to be wearing it (Thors Armor) to pull it out, when to get the final piece (cape), it's an end game piece (as you have to kill all of the Cultists).

So does all bow perks carry over to melee? Like the spartan bow, it gives 30% critical chance. How do you know if the perk works for melee? Is there a way to check this... someone please help

Why can't you use "Raven Distraction" or "Man's best friend" ability without a bow equipped? Doesn't seem like a necessary requirement ... you can throw axes without a bow but can't use animals...

Do you have any of your old saves before that quest line ? If so might sound wack as fuck but if you load up one of those you’ll lose all the progression you had past the save but at least you’ll be able to continue your story line 🙃

Just like in AC Odyssey. This game has many endings. (Like 4 I believe)
1) Settlement ending (When completing all pledges)
2) Animus anomaly ending (When completing 10 animus anomalys)
3) Order of the Ancients/Templar ending (When you hunt down all the Order members including the Zealots)
4) Modern day ending (After A Brother's keeper when Layla finds out about the stuff done there and goes to Norway herself.)

You’re wrong….Needler is the best bow in the game it has 146 Atk stun 134 hd st 109 spd 28 crit-pre 126 wgt 15 that’s the best bow in the game nobody ever mentions it and I don’t know why
