Hey there, great video! May I please ask how my Carolingian sword is fully upgraded to mythical but doesn’t have the same stats? It’s maxed out but for example, my atk is 127 and stun is 110, is it because I’m still at power 162?
You can use incendiary powder trap range ability to break walls instead of oil jars. My favourite weapon is a spear you gain it in the dlc wrath of the druids. Its called 'gae bolg' and has the ability to electrocute the enemy after three hits. Super cool and effective against tough bosses.
Yeah spotted that too, I just wish they had been slightly more realistic and kept swords to be the short one-handed swords of the viking age. I was so hyped to be dual wielding a proper ulfberht and a bearded axe, true viking style. But AC seems to like their overkill and slightly sci-fi weapons. In general I wish more of the armor and weapons looked a bit more viking-ish, and that it didn't all get overkill when you upgrade it beyond superior.
@@theodorthiele Yeah I totally agree, you lose all immersion in the game after a certain point, the one handed axes are cool but the staple of any game like this is a sword and shield. Idk why they didn’t put it in I’m hoping they point in more realistic Viking armour and weapons in a dlc, I’m tired of looking like a God holding fat ass weapons
@@maundc1 Yeah it's a bit of a bummer really, getting new items and upgrading them is a big part of a game for me, but every time I do so in Valhalla, I like the new stuff less. I still primarily use the raider axe because it actually looks like something from the viking age. Even the viking round shields stop looking like proper shields once you upgrade them. And all of the armor gets full of plates as it's upgraded, which wasn't a thing during the viking age.. There's not even a dane axe that actually looks like a Dane axe from what I can tell.. But I guess it kinda is a part of their universe to have these old god sci-fi items in their games.. But to me sailing around in a longship full of LEDs and a flaming skull armor is not exactly the viking fantasy I had dreamt off.
@@theodorthiele yeah I think so many people have this opinion, I legit too just use the raider axe, varins axe or a shield. I've killed most zealots in under a minute with it. 2nd favorite is arcstrider spear because it deals bonus arc damage on every hit and stuns the enemy pretty often. I use it in large enemies like the boar in valhalla dlc and the steinnbjorn. 3rd favorite is ormr-tooth. It attacks really fast and is just fun to use on enemies like Goliaths and head hunters.

Different studios. Odyssey was made by Ubisoft Quebec, Valhalla was done by Ubisoft Montreal. Valhalla also has references to every past AC game in it, not just Odyssey. Can't really go into more detail without spoilers.

I was about to say something about this! Only Ubisoft would give a viking a spartan shield and a spartan no shield lmao
game is terrible
Different studios. Odyssey was made by Ubisoft Quebec, Valhalla was done by Ubisoft Montreal. Valhalla also has references to every past AC game in it, not just Odyssey. Can't really go into more detail without spoilers.
@@dano1307 nah you are
@@themandals7273 damn that was a burn 🔥
Knowing the locations of where to get these weapons is a bonus, but I want to know what Runes to use on them. Everyone seems to neglect that tidbit of info. Activating the appropriate skill nodes plays a big part as well.
Let's keep in mind the max difficulty in an Assassin's Creed game means nothing lol
I've always been a fan of ESO's videos but the fact my man actually knows what Damascan Steel looks like is just straight up badass 😏😏😏😎😎😎🤘🤘🤘
Also, 7:08, I just love the random skits he adds into his videos, it's just so casual and enjoyable XD
Great video, I subscribed after watching a few of your videos. I really love Skyrim, would you recommend getting Assassin’s Creed Valhalla? I must admit, this game looks rather good.
Man great video. I subbed and liked
Yo this actually worked I just got the death skald bow I’m going get the shield now!
I’m hooked on this game ❤. Except plow swords.
