I have the same package in my M5 and I use it all the time. I also have the parking assistance plus package as well which I use sometimes. The technology is impressive.
The car actually does have emergency braking when it detects your are about to have a collision… you must have turned it off in your settings or put the sensitivity to low…
I have the same package and my car (X5) does detect the car in front and slows down to a stop at red lights. I noticed that you didn't seem to have the distance control turned on (indicated by some horizontal lines in the green path and controlled by the +/- buttons next to the left thumb wheel). Was that why your car didn't detect the car in front?
if i had this system. I ll only use it on boring highways or in traffic jams. The car do have traffic jams assist that actually see when cars are stoped. When you own a M4 yu would wanna drive the car in city or country roads, not let the car drive for you :(

Ciao Alessandro, scusa per la tarda risposta. Si, in passato ho avuto una Tesla e per dirti la verità l autopilota dell’M4 e molto molto preciso, ma non ha le funzionalità che quello di Tesla offre. Basti solo pensare che l’m4 non ha le telecamere laterali di cui Tesla è dotata. Si ci riferiamo esclusivamente alla capacità della vettura di mantenere la distanza dalla macchina di fronte e di sterzare in base alle curve, ti posso dire che non trovo differenze tra l M4 e la mia Tesla, in relazione a precisione ed affidabilità. D’altro canto, quando ci riferiamo alla capacita della vettura di evitare proattivamente un incidente, l autopilota di Tesla è più evoluto.

Sono andato a provare M4 e C43AMG, ma alla fine tra superbollo, area C, parcheggi gratuiti in Milano ho riscelto un'altra Tesla. Mi viene da piangere..... una volta ero una persona più seria! :)

Ho viaggiato parecchio con la mia vecchia Tesla ed è sempre stato un piacere. Molto comoda e spaziosa, e divertente da guidare. Io vivo in Colorado, dove il costo del bollo è parecchio alto a confronto di altri Stati come la California. Quest’anno ho pagato sui $900, l equivalente di 800 euro annuì su per giù

Interesting - is parking assistance not included in this package? I don’t see it as an option for the ix m60 I’m considering
@@cheefussmith9380 You can check with the dealer but I think it's a separate package. I find that BMW offers different options for different cars.

That’s correct. Even cars without the assistance pro package.
I think M cars doesn’t have that feature, my x5M don’t have it but my 7 40 have that feature
