Indeed ridiculous to think engine will last after this tune. If you know a bit about mechanical engineering than you would realise that this will lead to premature wear on many of the rotating parts of the engine. Of course modern engines are made to cover a rather wide operation range but almost double the amount of hp without upgrading piston,.piston rods and their bearings is stupid. Also cooling system needs to revised. If you would look to real racing cars (eg also m4's, almost nothing will be stock anymore up and around the engine. ) just boosting the turbo pressure is a quick and easy win , but no tuner will give you an engine wty with these kind of figures.

Unfortunately, I think it would need a piggyback ECU add-on, but for serious stuff, a complete standalone unit. That's a lot of money and a lot of hours spent testing to dial it in properly.

one thing struck me... It's the first time it didn't look to go 300+ it actually looked slower , but doing some math on the speedo/rev it seems to match, and thats scary!! doing 300+ and it looks like 200.. thats the most insane thing..
Needs better mapping for partial throttle but what a beast, maybe boost by gear 1-3 then everything in 4th as not the x drive, the 7-8 shift at full load should not be an issue that was very weird but very hard to to test that shift often at 190+
As much as I love the sound of the E9x S65, there's no better power than BMWs recent turbo/twin turbo inline 6 motors. Makes me miss my N54 sometimes, and can't wait to eventually get a taste of the B/S58 motors
That would be completely insane on an M4 Comp "X Drive". All that power would be used appropriately and delivered to the ground vs all the wheel spin with this one being rear wheel drive.
It doesn't shift from 7 to 8 in auto when flooring it because 8th gear is the overdrive. 8th is not designed to deliver max power its designed for optimal efficiency. 7th gear delivers max power.

Why wouldnt it hold? A modern 3.0 6cyl made for a performance car
Built motor on stock turbo's can push about 3 pounds of boost without any issues

You're not wrong, but the S58 has factory forged internals. They can handle quite a bit
