Hollyland Lark Max by far the best out of those two!!!

Great review! Any audio drift issues when recording over 10 min?

That was my main concern so I stopped it as often as I could but I never noticed anything. I guess for an hour long podcast in one take it would be out by a bit

I just got a set of these, I was using the much older Rode Link system. The latency of the Hollyland Lark Max is not as good. When you monitor the delay is enough to sound like a very slight echo. Not enough to mean you can’t monitor, but if you’re in a room for example, it will sound more echoey then it is. Of course it’s fine on play back.
But the much older Rode Link mics have NO latency, there is simply no delay, it sounds like it’s hard wired.
Has anyone else noticed a delay in the audio from the Hollylands?

Yeah the latency on the Hollyland is way too high. I only use them for interviews so it can't drift too much.
I'd never use them in a narrative or anything with long takes as it would drift way out in 10 minutes.

wow i did't know until i saw your video that rode won't record stand alone internal recording without turning ON the receiver. what an oldy mic. other cheaper brand than rode like fulaim/mailada x5 can do this and they have complete accesories cable ang charging hub LOL

@@FilmPunk hey i found out today there is a "always" selection in backup/internal record of rode central . does it mean that the transmitter can start internal record immediately without turning ON the receiver?

I sold mine but i don't think that's how they work. You'd have to try if you have one.@@dmgfilmproductionandphotog1567

@@dmgfilmproductionandphotog1567 yes, when you enable the "always" option, the transmitter will start recording immediately
