Well now that the X-men franchise is gonna be renewed I’m kind of sad about it. The 1st trilogy will always have a soft spot for me

Origins Wolverine was better than Dark Phoenix and The New Mutants. I don't get why people hate Origins Wolverine so much.
Curious, how do you assign percentages? X men origins 34% = 3.4 out of 10 I guess? Most people just do 1-5 or 1-10. What in your film grading requires so many extra increments?

Dang good timing. Just got home from New Mutants 20ish minutes ago.
1. Logan (2nd fav comic book movie ever)
2. Deadpool (So much fun. Its exactly what I wanted from a deadpool movie)
3. Days of Future Past (This one grows on me everytime I rewatch it. Absolutely awesome movie)
4. X2 (Such a fantastic sequel that has real stakes)
5. First Class (couldnt believe how great this was the first time I saw it)
6. The Wolverine (extremely underrated I feel like. The first two acts are great, and the third act isnt as bad as people say)
7. X-Men (Very good start to the series. Lots of nostalgia for it, tho i dont think it completely holds up)
8. Deadpool 2 (Funny as hell, a bit long and the story isnt as good as the first)
9. X-Men: Apocalypse (The Magneto stuff carries this movie and the main reason I go back to rewatch it)
10. The New Mutants (Very meh, some cool scenes)
11. The Last Stand (Very disappointing ending to the trilogy; has some cool moments)
12. Origins (very bad but bonus points for Hugh Jackman's bare ass)
13. Dark Phoenix (Total crap)

@@shirubionicle I think it's all about expectations. When I watched X-men I expected this classic that people didn't forget to this day, and I just got a good enough movie. When I watched The Last Stand, I remembered everyone saying how bad this movie is and it was way better than I expected. This movie very well shows that you can be whatever you want, but you should respect other people's choices.

X-men First Class is by far my favorite X-men movie. The acting is great. Even though the first class is underused they still have their moments and their development. Their offscreen deaths in DoFP is probably why days of future past isn't in my 2nd favorite. (I never saw Logan) I thought that the characters deserved more

Havent seen the new Mutants and its been a while since Ive seen them all but here goes:
9. Dark Phoenix (the worst)
8.X-men Origins: Wolverine (so contrived but at least Logan acts well)
7. Apocalypse (some good moments but boring overall)
6.Logan (too dark for me, not the direction it was supposed to go after DOFP, tho I love Logan)
5. The Wolverine (Japan is cool)
4-3: X-2 & X-1 in no particular order (Dont remember much, they dont have quicksilver-like moments but at least the villains have a real cause)
2. First Class (Whats crazy that nobody points out is how it has such little of Hugh Jackman while hes basically the protagonist otherwise and yet its so interesting)
1. DOFP (The perfect movie)
As for the deadpool films, I think DP2>DP1 and I cant really rank them with the others since theyre so different

I dressed as wolverine as a kid for Halloween once. After watching X-men origins wolverine, damn, were my claws were on point!
X-Men: Days of Future Past isn't just my favorite X-Men film. It's my favorite Marvel film. I think it has the best plot and character development of any Marvel film.
If I had to pick my single favorite superhero movie it would be Days of Future Past. Don't see how people can say Logan is better lol. Logan is very good but it only appeals to one specific theme

Apocalypse my favorite. Quicksilver>. Days of future past is my second favorite, very well executed. When I was younger I didn’t like it as much but as I grew older and learned how to comprehend, each time I watch it gets better.
Days of Future Past used to be my favourite until I watched Logan. It's still the only X-Men movie that I've seen in theaters.

My favorite part of this video was how much Sean went all in on commentary of the whole franchise. It was just so fresh and funny, it made the video even better

Originally in X-Men Origins Wolverine, Wolverine and Sabretooth would fight against a bunch of feral Sabretooth clones. The Sabretooth we see in X-Men 1 would have been a surviving clone.

Anyone who read the Weapon X comic knows precisly what is the problem with this movie...
The problem is that the origen story of Wolverine is a HORROR story, if they made a movie out of it, it would be a slasher movie about a failed experinment going wrong in a military base, you get a glimpse of this in X-Men: Apocalypse pointing out to the true story that should having being told.
I will always have a soft spot for the First Class trilogy

Not gonna lie I hope new mutants is continued in the mcu, it felt lacking in some areas but it feels like it was a solid start to a series. Too bad it’s most likely not going to happen

-Effects are a big thing for me, so I love this movie.
X-Men: First Class
-Great introduction to the X-Men, and I love Jennifer Lawrence in this movie

-Eh. Kind of weak. Had some bland parts but did have a solid plot, even if the timeline was confusing.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
I actually really enjoyed this, but not as much as the others. It’s actually not a bad film, but it will fall at the end of my list when I rank all of them.
I have to say, the ONLY thing I agree with on this list is First Class. The others I have the complete opposite opinion.

The Wolverine is SO good. Its just the final act that brings it down a bit. It dark tone is perfect and different from the mess that was X3. Personally, I like orgins wolverine better than X3. X3 is boring and bad, while orgins is enjoyable and bad
People like to overrate the third act on saying “it’s still terrible!” like it wasn’t even that bad, the only thing was the goofy silver samurai and Wolverine fight that felt mishandled. Otherwise everything else was just completely fine!
I actually really like X-Men: The Last Stand. I enjoyed Logan and Storm together and Jean’s deal was cool to me and had big stakes. Rogue’s arc was fresh and interesting to me, even if I was bothered that she was “cured” offscreen. However it wasted Cyclops (just like every other movie) and I hated Professor X’s death.

zombie beast 85 Yeah haha. I know it’s not the common opinion. I’ve never been a big Deadpool fan in the first place. I’m also not a fan of comedy in general, so that’s why I’ve always had a harder time liking Deadpool as character as much as everybody else. With that said, the reason I prefer Deadpool 2 is because the humor in that movie clicked with me more, and I was more entertained by the movie. I also just enjoyed the overall story better.

I think Deadpool 2 is way more fun that the first, without really sacrificing much or any as far as story or pacing. I like both a lot, but I watch Deadpool 2 at least 5 times for every time I watch Deadpool, which I’ve only seen 2 or 3 times.

I also liked Last Stand! The movie has its flaws but it also has some of my favorite moments in the franchise (like Wolverine's fight in the forest and Magneto lifting up the bridge.)

I rarely read comics but I can say that fans must have felt cheated after watching The Last Stand and Dark Phoenix because The Dark Phoenix saga is a fan favourite comic book storyline.
It’s one of my fav marvel conice so the dark Phoenix movie stuff was a real disappointment

I rewatched every X-Men/Deadpool movie to prepare for Deadpool & Wolverine, and I had never seen Dark Phoenix or New Mutants, I didn't think Dark Phoenix was gonna be all that good, but it genuinely surprised me, and New Mutants surprised me too. New Mutants is basically Marvel Breakfast Club with mutants.

Saksham they ruined so many characters dear to me in Origins but characters in Dark Phoenix and especially New Mutants are very faithful adaptations, so I tend to be impartial to the film with more accurate interpretations of characters.

Austin Reed Origins is a good bad movie, Dark Phoenix is a bad good movie. Origins is but isnt canon (cause I can’t find a way to fit it into the X-Men canon) and that’s why I find it fun, it’s just so fun to make fun of the awful decisions the movie made and the awful acting. Dark Phoenix is just dead, there’s nothing really there, and it broke the canon too.
I’m a big marvel fan tho I haven’t seen dark phoenix or the new mutants tho I may see new mutants but should I see them ?
I didn't like either one but Anya Taylor-Joy made new mutants worth watching. After I saw dark phoenix I walked out pissed off that I watched it.
