It doesn't sound offensive, I'm from Alabama and I was shocked when I first visited Huntsville.
I moved to Huntsville 2 years ago from NY and I love it. It’s grown so much in the 2 years I’ve been here and despite the pandemic continues to grow.

Huntsville (and Madison) has been growing rapidly the last decade. Recently, the music scene has been bustling. Many venues have been popping up such as Midcity Camp and many microbreweries. The culture of Huntsville is centered around nerdy things such as videogaming, comics, anime, and beer. Trust me. Those nasa people love their games, comics, and beer. Lastly, Huntsville is full of creative people such as engineers and artists (me being one of them)

This is a great video. Thank you for your work on this. We are considering relocating from TX to Huntsville and want to know the city better before we make the decision. You shine a beautiful light on the city. Everything we have seen talks about how great the area is. Just for the record, we were looking at Huntsville before it was labeled America’s best city. Thank you again for posting this project. Perhaps someday our paths will cross.
Grew up there as a kid. The railroad museum is great, the duck pond is peaceful, and the space/rocket center is exciting.
As a native Huntsvillian, I could not be more proud of my hometown and all of the exciting things that are happening here! I loved this video, by the way. So well done, well narrated, and just over all a great representation of our fair city! :)

I love Huntsville! I live 40 miles down the road, but I visit there often. Don't forget about the Tennessee River on the south side of Huntsville, if you love boating or fishing.

Great video. I'm a 54 year old African American man. I am from New Hampshire originally but I grew up in the Atlanta area Decatur to be exact. I heard of a Decatur, Alabama as well. I plan on relocating from Atlanta and Charlotte,N.C. has been on my radar for the past three years as well as Raleigh N.C. I heard some great things about Huntsville and I want to explore my options. I'm a Marine Corps and Navy veteran as well and I work in the apartment maintenance industry. I would like to know about the job opportunities there and the cost of housing there as well. Does Huntsville have any sports teams there? I know Charlotte and Atlanta has plenty of entertainment but what's there to do in Huntsville? I do like the outdoors but I also like to go to the mall and restaurants and to the movie theater. I see Huntsville as a small city now but in twenty years it will be a big city like a Charlotte, Atlanta or an Austin,Texas. Right now Huntsville is a hidden gem that is growing. I hope the city won't become too crowded and crime infested like Atlanta for sure. Please give me your take on the city of Huntsville? I am a new subscriber of your channel. Thanks very much.

I Love ot here I lived in GA for 5 yrs due to military marriage and it just was not the place for me it's not where I want to raise a child and have a calm and collected life where they can feel and be free and express themselves without so much going on but when I moved here it is very peaceful very clean people are extremely friendly you have your part of town that's a little chaotic but it's nothing like where I used to live and I am from Montgomery so if you know anything about that then you catch my drift but this is the perfect place to start a marriage start a business find a home late is where you would want to be to just relax in life and become somebody and have things and people are so eager to show you how to make it but to each its own but anytime I have visitors come or visit me or my home day do not want to leave and even considers find a good place here and living here it is beautiful and it's not just on one side of town on one area the whole city is beautiful

Huntsvilles diversity is not too bad. I move to Huntsville when I was 12 from Florida. Me and my family are black Latinos from Brazil, so diversity was really important for us. But Huntsville was definitely not as diverse as Florida obviously
Definitely north side. That's where All the stabbing And shootings happen. If you choose Madison there is about a 4 square block area right on Wall triana near Gillespie Road that you will fit into great. Good luck!

@@mjpottertx I recommend visiting Stovehouse or The Camp at Midcity for live music on the weekend. Campus 805 (Axe throwing, adult arcade, brewery, and a few restaurants). I hope this short list helps. Let me know if I can help in the future.

Speak for yourself. There's nothing but opportunity here. Especially if you work in any kind of manufacturing.
I moved away from Huntsville due to being harassed by the police, it's sad having to explain to your kids they are capable of doing bad things...since we moved 5 years ago life has been fantastic and I think my kids are healing from the terror at the hands of the police dept.
99.9% of Police officers are good people and I stand with law and order!

Thanks for your question. The city is pretty diverse. I can’t speak for the entire race but I believe we feel comfortable living in all areas of the city.
