Yeah it's a bit odd that this is rated just 4 stars, it's one of the pieces included in the list of pieces for the LTCL diploma after all, which is two levels above grade 8, if I'm not wrong.

i can´t believe im finally mastering this one.. i never really attempted to play it cause i always though tremolo was almost impossible to master for me.. buy it´s actually not that hard. playing it very slowly concentrated and always using metronome it gradually becomes a natural hand motion! thanks for these videos are really motivating and useful!
So true ! It's been 9 month since I started to play guitar and in the last 3 i got a pretty decent tremolo, my main big issues with this song being the speed of the chord succession and the hammer on wich doesnt sond great with the metal strings of my acoustic guitar...
@@shiroumxm2052 Not sure why, but some play only two notes between the bass ones. It's supposed to be three though. At the beginning of the piece it's only one, but soon after it becomes a regular tremolo and, afterwards, instead of bass notes you have to strum the bass part, which makes more complicated to properly maintain the rigid tempo for the tremolo. Also, the hand positions required and the fast tempo make it more complicated yet.
After practicing for 2 years, I can finally play the whole piece. After watching my performance, my friend asked, 'Is that all you got after 2 years? The piece sounds so simple.'😂
that's the thing with guitar and perhaps many instruments. They can look deceivingly easy to people who don't know music. The important part is that you enjoy it yourself though. Anything else is just a bonus
I'm just beginning the journey myself. There are a number of moving parts in the composition and is by no means a simple task. Playing tremelo correctly is not an easy task in itself but it's good you got there, I'm only learning how to play tremelo myself and I'm at the very early stages. It is one of the most amazing sounds I have ever heard with an instrument. Blessings !

As many of you i listened to this masterpiece years ago and only dreamed of playing it myself. Only 2 months ago i became addicted to tarrega once again and decided to finaly try and learn some of his pieces, of course this beauty being the top priority and i would like to say, with pride, that with just little under 2 months of practicing i've became succesfull in playing it at normal speed from start to finish, and must say, it feels amazing knowing the whole thing just from muscle memory in it self, truly remarkable piece!

For those who are wondering why the “New & Easier Fingering Version”, this technique called "tremolo" is somewhat complicated to master, except for the 1st string. In the original song, this tremolo technique is used on the 2nd string (and I think on the 3rd too) which requires much more practice and precision to not hit other strings while playing, but in this version of the video, only the 1st string is played, the which makes everything so much easier. Thank you very much for this video! :)

I played this back in college in my extracurricular scholarship group. I didn't know that this was a level 5 piece! I didn't feel this much, but our concert master back then urged me to learn it, so I put all my effort to learning it every day. He was amazed! I think this is an easier version.. the original one the tremolo is on 2nd string which is wayyyy more dificult because the tremolo has to be so controled and "on spot", because chances are you are going to hit other strings by mistake look for some pros plays recuerdos and you'll see, 2nd string tremolo, that thing is the devil
@@NunesPensador Really amazes me. I just play simple alternating bass things in the vein of Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Mississippi John Hurt and such. So I am always impressed by this level of technique. Coming so late to the guitar, it is just not realistic for me to even consider attempting this ---- I have enough on my plate as it is. But however good any of us may be, there is always someone else we can look at for inspiration.

Asturias's tremolo is way harder. You might want to try that one next.
