From a professional teacher...I learned this piece years and years ago, but haven't played it or taught it in over a decade. Recently, a student of mine who searches and learns like crazy ( without notes) asked me about this piece. I, myself, suffering from "Caprichophobia", found this video. Within minutes, my muscle memory began returning, and I feel like I still have it with Capricho Arabe! Always loved this piece, love the guitar, LOVE your video. THANK YOU!!!
Its amazing that, that happens. I will not remember how a song goes that i havent played for years but its like my body does and once i hear it, it comes back. The mind is amazing.
I’m the same way I memorized the whole thing and won state solo ensemble with it, I also have no idea how to read notes on a guitar. Just studied the hell out of this video.
This is one of my favorite pieces of all time, I remember my uncle playing this all the time when I was a kid. It truly inspired me into playing guitar, and finally after 14 years of playing, I dared myself to learn the whole piece. Now, I can proudly say I am now able to play this thanks to your amazing arrangement!
I am 26,and I've been fan of Tarrega for years, but I wouldn't even dare to try to learn his songs considering I can't read notes. Keep up the wonderful work you do and thank you again! :))) Marin
