Thank you for this excellent lesson. You teach well, anticipating where we would find difficulty. My first introduction to Asturius Leyenda was way back in the early 70s. The Doors used it in Spanish Caravan.
Thanks Max! I adore the 'Waiting for the Sun' album also. I think Asturias was also quoted in a couple of Iron Maiden songs, and I know I have heard versions of it in some traditional Arabic music as well.
really good exercise to get acquainted with classical guitar technic ....im gonna stick to that for everyday warming up in order to increase right fingers independance N deterity //// keep up with posting these stuffs please
Greg, kudos for including this. Totally makes sense that classical guitar study improves you as a jazz and, generally, guitar player, in so many ways. Hope you integrate more classical stuff into the jazz academy site. I have been trying to get into classical a lot of times, but every time, I hit another site that insists on doing Giuliani´s exercises ad nauseum before doing anything else, I quit and go back to blues and jazz.
Thanks for your comment Pavel. Stay tuned for more fun classical guitar videos. Yes! Playing different genres shapes you into a more holistic musician.

I don’t understand the zeros
Zeros represent an 'open' string, or one that you play with your picking hand but do not press down on any frets with your fretting hand!
And an x is mute
Great Sara 🔥🔥🔥 good job 👊🏽♥️
