There are several other channels on RUclips “doing salvage” ……BUT none come anywhere near carrying out the fascinating and correct pulling procedures as done by Chris and Rob / Salvage rebuilds UK. It is truly awesome watching the metal returning to its original position.

My Dad is a retired carpenter so always plenty of wood around. Chris there's nothing like a bit of free wood 🪵 and the bonus prize, not one but two SDS drill bits!! I like watching Chris do his thing with the dozer and now it is back in shape. Rob as you say you can't always see the hidden damage and with hindsight you could have ordered the inner panel as well but hey you didn't need to wait too long. Here's hoping that the front isn't too bad but that's for another day. Thanks again Rob and Chris for another interesting video. 👍 👍

Fantastic progress so far. The back panel was more crumpled than I thought, when you see how far it pulled out. Plus it's the gift that keeps on giving, a lot of wood and two drill bits so far. Love the little bit of cheek directed at Rob from Chris. Great work fellas. 👍

Brilliant work again by Chris. It really is great to watch someone using their skills to straighten out the various depressions and twists in a piece of bodywork instead of just cutting out and putting in a new preformed panel.

When i bought my dozer in the seventies i went to a demo run by the dozer agents ( J B Butterfields) in Leeds. The guy doing the demo was a senior body repairman they employed to do attachment design and demos for them, and his oft repeated mantra was, “always pull it straight even if you intend to replace it anyway” good to see it done well once again!

hello Chris & Rob, well, I was so amazed with the work required to streighten out the rear section, and the use of the various hammers before removal in preperation for the new sections to be welded in. Again the skills are shown in how to repair the damage. So impressed! Best wishes from Lincolnshire.

It's a good van. I know a guy called Vito. Really nice Italian guy. He makes good coffee in his cafe and drives a rusty Alfa Spyder thingy. Anyways, he says hi and good luck with the van. Till next time... 👍👍
