No we don’t need a ulez truck we don’t do recovery’s so were not really in London in fact I think Iv only ever been in once in my truck and had to pay so we will just pay the charge if we need to collect a car from the ulez zone 👍
Just seen your videos since you hit just over 100k and in the last few days recently started watching them again. What was a huge surprise is Chris being on camera I know previously he didn’t want to be on camera being on camera/ social media isn’t for everyone but it’s great to see and he comes across very well on camera he’s doing a fab job.
My mates got a transit of the same age. Its been in and out of Fords with engine recalls including the injectors and the wet belt fix, not sure whats going on with Ford engines any more they really aren't what they used to be
“THE”….Best example of how good these boys are, is even, following other peoples attempts at a repair they still calmly, methodically and intelligently get there ! Outstanding skill and professionalism. Every penny very very well earned !
A wobbly turbo does not bode well but you two sorted it out. Now it sounds sweet enough, like a Transit as you say Rob. It is always good to give the guys at the car wash a mention, they do a really good job. That's two out the door, one to your friend and the '19 plate' to one of us subscribers at a good price and still a profit for you two. I think even if you 'borrow' parts from one you will still get money back on it. Well done Rob and Chris and thanks for another great video Gents. 👍👍
Evening guys, every time I see Chris so relaxed and confident on camera I’m so pleased that his true personality is shining through, lovely post guys and certainly a long way from the old 1.9 we used to go to work in the 70,s
The final countdown you two are amazing in the work you do Chris can diagnose a fault in his sleep but to get that to the level you do in that way is what makes you the best youtube channel to watch. Crack on
I work for an auction site we specialise in vans and we sell these things with this mileage and condition for £8K+vat all day long, someones getting a bargain 👍
Obviously the seats will be soaking and the cab will have some condensation over the next few days if you stick a small to medium sized dehumidifier in the cab for a few hours it will dry it out. Saves it going mouldy too
GREAT VIDEO AS USUAL GUYS. JUST MAKES ME THINK OF THE DAYS WHEN YOU COULD TAKE A CORTINA ENGINE AND PUT IT IN A TRANSIT OR VICA VERSA. SHOWS HOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED. IN MY DAY ANYTHING FORD, FITTED ANOTHER FORD !!!. THATS WHAT MADE FORD SO POPULAR. KEEP EM COMING !!!
The valets sure did earn their supper on that one. Great buy on all of those transits. I really like the practice of sharing your bargains with the traders community. Big thumbs up Thank You Gentlemen. Hope you continue to better Chris
Great videos as always guys. Just be a little careful jet washing around the door shuts etc as the body control module sits just behind the drivers side cup holder on the end of the dash. Carry on the great work guys.
With both you Rob and Chris being immaculate in your work practices it doesn’t matter what way round you do the video, I know that you said that you’re not going to video all 4 more of the pickups but it may be a good idea to hold them back as emergency fill ins 🏴👍🏻
As usual, first class job. Looks like the other shop just didn’t have the knowledge or was lazy or thought they could and did get away with shoddy repairs.
All Transits wear the outer edge on the passenger side tyre. No matter how many times you get the wheel alingment done, it will still wear down the outer tyre edge first. A customer of mine would call me out a few months after fitting a new tyre for him, to turn the tyre around on the rim to get even wear on the tyre!
Hello Rob and Chris, another great video, the first one looks brilliant with the new door and work done.as a breakdown vehicle it will be ideal.these Transits are always handy for what they are.
I know you said you won't do videos on all these Transit's, but it would be interesting to have a little bit of waffle about each one at some point as they're finished or disposed of, with an overall number crunch of 'we paid x for the lot', etc etc. As always, great to see you grafting and making money 🥰🛻🚙🚗
Good evening Rob and Chris, great video and good use of the winch to repair the under run bar (bumper). The transit really turned out well. Also good that you could help your friend out. Thanks you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged.
Sweet job there guy's, I know you both like giving a good deal to buyers, but on a personal note I still think you are selling yourselves short for the effort put in, and the peace of mind that a buyer can feel confident in a purchase from you both, you could put another £500-£1000 on that price, and the buyer would still be getting a bargain! 👌👍👍👍
Check the pollen filters as well and I’d do a fuel filter as well rob coz the mileages those transits have done I don’t think they will have been changed.pollen filter behind the glovebox just push the tabs in at the side down it comes and it’s there in front of u
Nice to have one to ge able to use for parts great to see them starting to move and getting money back through the doors see kris had the wrist strap on if he goes on line and orders stuff called bio freeze it's a jell I use it and it's great 👍
I'd love to see all of them in video. Also why don't ask mate pop over when the recovery truck finish make nice insert to a video. Love the content as always ❤️
Very reasonable Transit at 10,500. I like how your not greedy and at that price everyone is happy. I've seen some 19 plates on Auto trader for for 16 grand.
I see a few comments saying turn one for yourselves into a new recovery truck. If they are all 3.5 ton it's not worth it. You see loads of X super market delivery vans turned into them , usually at the side of the road with a cop car behind doing him for overloading 🤣🤣🤣. They need to be 5 ton and that throws up more nonsense to deal with.
Nice work you two, hopefully the “last” Transit should stand you in at zero so you should have enough room to get it roadworthy and still make a decent drink out of it! Cleverly done boys! 👍
Hello Rob and Chris, good progress with the first truck. I did like the truck being cleaned with a jet wash on the seats and bonnet!! Well done in getting one of the trucks out of the yard to one of your contacts - bonus!! Best wishes from Lincolnshire.
I was a motor mechanic for 50years & in that time have seen a lot of dodgy repairs but that turbo job was complete incompetence & I would seriously be in doubt as to whether the wet belt was actually changed & not abandoned because it proved to difficult.
You guys are so decent, asking bargain prices, doing great work, and entertaining us. Why do I get the impression Rob's missus doesn't like stinky wet van seats in the house? 😅
It's the way even on a five year old flatbed Rob talk's about touching up the paint chips😊 Be careful Rob could've easily put your back out doing that door 😊
Great video once again lads, looking forward to seeing all these vans being worked on 😉 Would be awesome if your mate would let you film the transformation into the recovery truck. Would love to watch that 👍🏻
The thing with Robbing a Van for Bits and Charging Yourself an Estimate for that Bit is that you may want to Fix the Van that you have Robbed from for a Sale and as you Add the Bits back onto that Van that was Previous Robbed you will be Charging Yourself Twice for the same Bit.
I'd be interested to hear how VAT affects your business and how it is payable on a truck but you have not said anything when you've had other work vans. It will also be interesting to hear how much you make out of the whole 'fleet' when the last one has gone. Good content, thanks.
Great video 📹 👍 as normal fellas those car wash guy's are very good at what they do never heard of jet washing the seats but they have come up lovely should get a good drink out of this one without to much time and money 💰 put in to it 😊. Stay lucky and healthy looking forward to Sundays video 📹 as usual 😊❤.
Wibbly wobbly then Chris! Yes Rob you definitely need lubrication when going in and out,in and out. Forgive me I've just had a council tax refund from the thieves at Birmingham council and it's sent me a bit high!! On another note why are commercial vehicles so poorly engineered and made these days? With rip off sky high prices to buy and the parts. Have a nice day now you two Tony
You gonna convert one into a ULEZ compliant recovery van for yourself?
No we don’t need a ulez truck we don’t do recovery’s so were not really in London in fact I think Iv only ever been in once in my truck and had to pay so we will just pay the charge if we need to collect a car from the ulez zone 👍
That would cost a fortune.
No needs to...diesels 2015 onwards no charge, before 2015 needs to pay and petrol no charge and
He’s literally just done the gearbox in his truck.
Who else wishes Wednesdays and Sunday comes round quicker
This is the best soap-opera in the world. Utterly addictive.
Just seen your videos since you hit just over 100k and in the last few days recently started watching them again. Love how you take the time to do things properly not just bodge, if everyone did the same things would last soooo much longer. Chris rocks
Those cleaner/ valet lads are spot on 👍
I hope the sellers watching the channel so they get them selves another garage to work on their fleet. The work is shocking.goid video.
You're obviously unaware of the Ford "fuly floating" turbocharger. Their forward thinking Turkish design team never ceases to amaze me :-/ !!
My mates got a transit of the same age. Its been in and out of Fords with engine recalls including the injectors and the wet belt fix, not sure whats going on with Ford engines any more they really aren't what they used to be
Top tip rob, never wet the sounded deadening under bonnet as it will cause it to sag
Some people watch coronation Street and EastEnders, I watch SRUK! Much better!
Me too! Every time mate! 👍🇬🇧
“THE”….Best example of how good these boys are, is even, following other peoples attempts at a repair they still calmly, methodically and intelligently get there ! Outstanding skill and professionalism. Every penny very very well earned !

I just love the way Rob and Chris fix cars … nothing is a problem…
Cannot get enough excellent content really worth watching very knowledgeable Chris as got to be one of the best mechanics i have seen brilliant duo
For swapping the doors better to put the window down first . That allows you to hold and move door as you need. Great work guys as usual.
Top tip! I'm not adverse to hanging them off the engine crane either when they're heavy
10 minutes extra to save your back can save 10 years of chronic pain in the future…
Evening guys, every time I see Chris so relaxed and confident on camera I’m so pleased that his true personality is shining through, lovely post guys and certainly a long way from the old 1.9 we used to go to work in the 70,s

After seeing the job they done with the turbo I’d be a bit dubious about the wet belt!
Shhhh
Quick turn around, in and out, well done👍👍👍👍
Absolute quality. Anyone that gets a motor from you guys are getting a proper bit of kit ❤
Obviously the seats will be soaking and the cab will have some condensation over the next few days if you stick a small to medium sized dehumidifier in the cab for a few hours it will dry it out. Saves it going mouldy too
Should do a video on all of them there will be something different with each truck still worth the watch
Ford popular, scuse the pun
Gearbox out of an escort and into a corsair, those were the days. We used to be able to get an escort box out in half an hour.
I used a dehumidifier to dry my car out after we all got soaked on a day out did a great job.
Used to run mixed fleet of trannies, York & Kent engines + a few v6 petrols, they were bulletproof engines for sure.
Brilliant video Rob and Chris watching from Edinburgh Scotland UK 🇬🇧 👏
2 of them vans shifted already Rob - fast work!
The valets sure did earn their supper on that one. Great buy on all of those transits. I really like the practice of sharing your bargains with the traders community. Big thumbs up Thank You Gentlemen. Hope you continue to better Chris
Good man Chris fixing it the right way its always a pleasure watching you work and Rob running around
Another informative and entertaining vlog fellas. Transparency on pricing is so important. 👍
Halfords do an upholstery spray which is brilliant and won’t break down the sponge over time like water will
I would be happy to watch all transits or as many as it suited you to do videos on
Great video
Thanks
Guys
Great videos as always guys. Just be a little careful jet washing around the door shuts etc as the body control module sits just behind the drivers side cup holder on the end of the dash. Carry on the great work guys.
Brilliant turn around guys. Great job as always . Glad you managed to sell one already. Look forward to your next video. Take care.

As usual, first class job. Looks like the other shop just didn’t have the knowledge or was lazy or thought they could and did get away with shoddy repairs.
Lets hope they did a better job on the wet belt; got my doubts.

One down 4 to go well done lads. Great work as usual keep up the great work.
Absolutely fantastic guys 👍🏻
Cannot beat a good clean up, it sells ! What excellent work from both of you
Good evening Rob and Chris, great video and good use of the winch to repair the under run bar (bumper). The transit really turned out well. Also good that you could help your friend out.
Thanks you for taking the time to upload another video. Ged.
make the phrase "lets crunch the numbers" into a t shirt! :)
As said from the factory they don’t have a turbo to manifold gasket , the gasket is available for when the mating surfaces are in poor condition
To me, the "sound of a Transit" is that of a thrashy 'Essex' V4! Am I showing my age?
Always worth descaling the AdBlue injector from crystallisation, easy job and will stop throwing the nox sensor bank 1 fault code up
Sweet job there guy's, I know you both like giving a good deal to buyers, but on a personal note I still think you are selling yourselves short for the effort put in, and the peace of mind that a buyer can feel confident in a purchase from you both, you could put another £500-£1000 on that price, and the buyer would still be getting a bargain! 👌👍👍👍

Rob, you'll only upset the Cornish if you have a scone with cream first then jam on the top 😋😲😄😄
Fair play boys. Fair price. A lot of other people would be greedy and go for more profit.
Never thought of jet washing seat. They came up great must have a go at mine. GREAT JOB
Very reasonable Transit at 10,500. I like how your not greedy and at that price everyone is happy. I've seen some 19 plates on Auto trader for for 16 grand.
Time for a 30 min relax watching SRUK👍
Come on down to Chris and Robs transit special sale. Nice, quick fix guy's. Shame about previous work on the motor but well sorted and so quick.
Please can we have videos on the others! Even if they are shorter it's great seeing you both in action.
another good one out the door o yes
Great video Rob 👍👍
Great video 😊 best thing for the paperwork in the vans is burn it in your fire, as I wouldn’t trust it after the first van
Rob’s is one of those.
Another great video guys, would still like yo see some more content on the 3 remaining transits before they all go!.. 🙃
No problem moving them on , they are clean looking vans
Great having a part van to steal from, one down three to go 👍👍👍👍👍
Amazing video, love watching these transits.
Quality once again !! Hope the rest are this straightforward 👍👍💯
That VAT is a killer but that’s a good price for a decent sorted van.
Good to make a few bob
Great stuff gents! Do well with them.
Brilliant video. - they will make a lovely recovery truck out of the other one.😊👍
Nice work you two, hopefully the “last” Transit should stand you in at zero so you should have enough room to get it roadworthy and still make a decent drink out of it! Cleverly done boys! 👍
Really enjoying the channel as always & good luck with all the ongoing projects 👍👍👍
Great vid as always guys! A healthy profit on the vans by the end I’m sure. Well done & keep up the content

Usually because they can't get the bottom pulley bolt undone.
I was waiting for the joke at the end lads, nice van for someone 👍👍
You guys are so decent, asking bargain prices, doing great work, and entertaining us. Why do I get the impression Rob's missus doesn't like stinky wet van seats in the house? 😅
It's the way even on a five year old flatbed Rob talk's about touching up the paint chips😊 Be careful Rob could've easily put your back out doing that door 😊
Very productive day on the vans guys 👌👌👌
Great video gents- liking your professionalism!
Cracking video as always lads. Surprised no one has mentioned changing the rougher one into a recovery truck 🤯😳
Great video once again lads, looking forward to seeing all these vans being worked on 😉
Would be awesome if your mate would let you film the transformation into the recovery truck. Would love to watch that 👍🏻
Well done Gents. Pricing is very reasonable. Great motor for a small business.
All transit & Pug doors do that!
Great job chaps. Came out nice.
Well done lads! Great to watch as always. "Thanks"👍
I am HOOKED on watching
SR Rebuilds with Chris n Rob, wish I could take my car which needs repair to these 2 LEGENDS!
GREAT video
StaySafe

I could watch vids on all the trucks
OHV. LOL . Over head valve- when you know you know lol 😂
well done guy's short and sweet but a great video never the less looking forward to the next one 👋👍
Wibbly wobbly then Chris!
Yes Rob you definitely need lubrication when going in and out,in and out.
Forgive me I've just had a council tax refund from the thieves at Birmingham council and it's sent me a bit high!!

Tony
Those chairs/seats cleaned up nice.
Nice to see them getting sorted and out the door 👏👏 where do you get your injectors from?? Ford 2.2/Citroen relay??
Guys BEWARE jet washing or even getting seats and on cars not LDV getting roof liners wet. Interiors have foam backing that rots when it gets wet.
