The speed in which those vans were repaired for 6k profit and turned around in 7 days was down to Robs close relationship with salvage yard owners and Chris's expertise in fabricating those new studs. Together they're a perfect marriage. Not many refurb businesses could fulfil those requirements which is what, in my opinion, sets SR and those like you apart in that industry, because you turn low profit expensive engine replacements into high profit cheap engine fixes - and not a single bodge in sight. Mustard lads, honestly. 👌
Don’t worry about the sound etc, this is a genuine workshop-based show. It’s always interesting for the banter and content as is.
This is not car SOS or wheeler Dealers both of which are scripted reality TV. This is a genuine channel of two guys making a living in the salvage business and it’s fascinating to watch their combined skills.
I for one, far value content over polish. There's enough flashy fakes on RUclips. You blokes keeping it real and making them deals is where it's at 🙂

Hi guys, emailing from down under(Australia) just letting you know that your videos are priceless, not only are they informative but so watchable! As so many of your followers say Chris can fix anything quite literally and his attention to detail is unbelievable, just gets on with the job. You guys must be mates because the way you get on with each other is just great to see and obviously not a con job on your followers.

Great work gents. If the auction company are listing as not recorded and it is recorded surely that is false advertising and you would have some recourse? It's better to watch your vids showing the real way things go than give false impressions that things always go perfect - thanks for keeping it real.
I honestly don't know what you think is wrong with the audio, I watch all of your videos and I don't think there's ever been any point where I couldn't hear what was being said, it's always pretty clear, even when you're not using the clip on mics. Great channel btw 👍
I tend to watch with headphones and don't usually have issues hearing them, but it's probably harder to hear on a TV or phone speaker.

Looks like an adblue injector that was hissing, they usually have little locating tabs and a small clamp to secure
Weird that the other garage snapped the same bolts off on each truck.

I think your noise is absolutely fine and I can hear you both
Bernoulli effect Rob, or a venturi allows the liquid to flow. Upside down just allows air to create it. Fill the opening with the liquid, no venturi.

My guess is that fleet now has a new service contractor, hopefully anyway
Our tutors during my apprenticeship used to bollock us up hill and down dale if we ever left the chuck key in the lathe chuck, then there were the spanners on the bridgeport milling machines?🤣
The people who used to maintain this fleet must be squirming with embarrassment. The fleet owners had been really taken to the cleaners. Had a workshop with the same diligence and attention to detail that you guys have been maintaining them, chances are they would still be running them now.
Its smart you guys just do one take. Save time and as you know being mechanics time is money

Those Combo Maxis are a very useful van. They will take a tonne on 3 Euro pallets.
If I drill out a bolt and damage the thread then I drill it out to the size required for then fit appropriate helicoil thread repair
And then fit the correct bolts
It’s not hard
