Isn't he adorable. Loved him way back when and I love him now. Fell in love with his voice first...face came later! It was a great time and I thought the Moody Blues were the best.
Great live version. Mellotrons had a tendency to be finicky. One time during a concert the tape loops popped out. Fortunately, Mike (who worked at the Mellotron factory before the Moodys) was able to fix it quickly and get the show started.
Tuesdays we love despite its between Monday and Wednesday doesnt matter.Moodies rule sound and sequence in the styles rare they started in 60s thru 70s and then the 80s awesomeness
@MsBrunettebabe9 Think of the time back in the day...They played what they felt. The flute player, whos name is Ray Thomas, may have had a buzz. Watch the early video of , "have you heard", by the Moody Blues. As Ray Thomas plays the flute, look at his eyes!
Thanks, what a fabulous video ! ❤

They could be chaotic things, but nothing else sounded like them!
The best song from the wonderful concept album - Days of the Future Passed!

Fabulous. Classic Moodies at their best.

Never saw this version before. Justin would only be about 20 or 21 here. My Lord! Thanks for uploading it...always one of my favorite Moodies songs.

Gracias!!
😍
I love this song, but is it just the sound quality, or did they make quite a few mistakes? For example the flute! haha i dunno..
It's a live performance from Jazz Bilzen Festival 1969 in Belgium.
A stunning performance IMO. To have witnessed it must have been just ineffable.
@mgruiz88756
Great vocals
Snarf snarf
You can clearly tell this is from 1969 and not '67 or '68 simply because their hair is far too long.
Long Hair Been Around For Ages 🤔😒🙄 It's 1967 💯%
