the Twisted Metal show is seriously underrated
That show was fucking amazing. I'm not even that big with Twisted Metal yet I had a blast. Sweet Tooth was the best character hands down.
Donkey Kong Country that bad, really? Nah. It was way ahead of its time.

The only problem with Sonic X is that it focused more in the humans characters and less in the Sonics's franchise character

Calling DKC the worst is the proof the reviewer is the "judge the book from the cover" type of guy.
The episodes (minus the pilot) are actually good!
Plus Donkey Kong Country in the TV show wasn't that bad once again I think WatchMojo make thier lists based on their own liking.
I mean it was made in the 90s with a small TV budget obviously the motion capture isn't going to be the best. Was still fun to watch.
@@podginator I loved it: I was sick and tired to see character in the BG motionless. Here they took the care to BREATHE. A cartoon character moving enough to say he's inhaling oxygen. Now that is not something you see... ANYWHERE.
Also the comedy is top tier and the songs... Mostly good, I agree there were many hits but a few misses

Arcane is the best one to me, IMO
When he said the worst offender has yet to come and Pac-Man said: " *What could possibly go wrong* at a beach party?" I thought that was a hint for the Bubsy cartoon (even though it was only 1 episode).
Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures wasn’t that bad for me personally! It was a great show in my opinion and I can’t wait to see the Pac-Man Movie come out
The Super Mario Bros Super Show had some seriously AWEFUL voice acting to it! But, as bad as it was, the Legend of Zelda's animated show(which was a part of said show) was outright ATROCIOUS!)

Is it weird I enjoyed the Donkey Kong Country series for its *MASSIVE* sense of humor and musical numbers? Every moment in the show had me laughing my butt off. 😂

I started watching Ark: The Animated Series, and even though I didn't play the game because it's not that great, I think the show has potential, whether it's a faithful adaptation or it's own continuity.
Oh, come on! Donkey Kong's still a great cartoon with a large cult following.
Man, Netflix's "Resident Evil" is so forgettable that I forgot about it. Knowing of the reviews, I kept expecting "Dragon's Dogma". It had lackluster animation when it came to the dragon and other creatures. I have to already dock "Sonic X" for the voice performances. The coloquially named "Sonic Sat AM" is a good show for its writing.
Shenmue The Animation (2022) Was My Favorite tv adaptation of a video game wayy better than Sonic X (2003-2006) In my opinion

The Pokémon anime is like, the most successful video game adaptation ever. It's almost 30 years on air and helped Pokémon become the biggest IP in pop culture.

I actually watched Viva piñata as a kid and loved it! I’m also a fan of the games so they definitely heightened my enjoyment!
Pacman and the ghostly adventures wasnt that bad especially when knowing that the character design was choose by the people during a poll and the Lore of the show is deep and also dark example Betrayus and his army getting pull off their bodies and trap on the underworld forever as a punishment not to mention that this punishment was giving by the president aka betrayus brother
Fun fact Betrayus voice in the latin america dub is Hades voice and for pacster is Ben 10 from the classic series

But the entire Metalrex Arc from Season 3 is actually pretty great and completely original.
i remember finding The super mario SHow on dvd and I was like WOW INCREDIBLE Mario has has a TV show and it was great. The voices for Mario and Luigi were Pretty good Especially for LAte 1980s over all.

I disagree Donkey Kong Country had very good animation for its time check out any 3D show from that time or before like Transformers they all look awful but all of the characters in DK look the way they're supposed to and I think it looks pretty decent and I like the show sure it's dumb but enjoyable and I think the songs are awesome
I haven't seen Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, so I can't make an honest opinion on that...... but I just simply HATE the fact that now it's all "Trigger the studio that brought you Edgerunners", "from the creators of Edgerunners" and such.... fuck LWA and Kill la Kill am I right!!?? 😒

Why isn’t the Darkstalkers cartoon on the list? It’s the perfect example of how *not* to make a TV adaptation of a video game franchise!

DMC the anime took place between DMC 1 and DMC 4 actually.
Cuphead, Arcane, Castlevania and Super Mario Super Show were all listed under the best and Mega Man: Fully Charged was one of the worst. This list gets it right.
However, I did enjoy the Resident Evil Netflix series and the 90's Mega Man series could've been slipped in the best just to juxtapose how bad Fully Charged was.

What about the PBS adaptation of Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, featuring the late Lynne Thigpen as the Chief and one of the iconic theme song performed by Rockapella.

That's a game show not a cartoon. But yes, they should've added the DiC (yes, THAT one. One of a few GOOD DiC cartoons) cartoon adaptation of that show.

Total nostalgia call on the Best of the Best. Adventures of Super Mario 3 happened as well. That show was closer to the Mario World as we know it now, then the Super Show.

Sonic Boom and Satm are also fantastic.
The Super Mario Bros. Super Show also spawned a couple of sequel series: The Adventures of Super Mario 3, Super Mario World, and even King Koopa got his own live show (albeit short lived).
Disney made a TV series out of the Capcom game Chip 'n Dale - Rescue Rangers, and that was awesome. The main chipmunk characters became so popular after that show that they've made cameos in later Disney shows and shorts, often with Donald Duck. They even made a movie based on that show, and that was awesome too. That's pretty impressive of Capcom to invent characters that was supposed to be regular platform characters to compete with Mario that later became two of the most recognized Disney characters.
I loved that tv show. I had no idea it was a video game at first.

@@Thelodis Lmao, yes they appeared the first time in a cartoon short back in 1943 with Pluto, Mickey's dog. The characters have been around a long time, but the Rescue Rangers cartoon itself came in 1989.

The Donkey Kong Cartoon is a ‘so bad, it’s almost kinda funny’ kinda show
18. Get this, apparently, the first season bombed because the showrunners never played the games. That... explains everything. So, the second season had a different showrunner.

3. There was also the meme-worthy Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog, which gave us the LEGENDARY John Baldry as Dr. Robotnik. There's a reason that Baldry's Robotnik is a part of meme history.
And then there was Sonic The Hedgehog Satam, among my favorite of the Sonic TV shows. That also gave us Jim Cummings' Dr. Robotnik, by far the darkest depiction to date.
