The thing that really struck me hard was watching Joe's reaction. He and Gordon have been back and forth over the years, but through it all they became close friends and dreamed together.

I highly recommend "The Expanse" to any sci-fi fans. I binge-watched the first season after seeing the reviews and reading articles saying it was one of the best shows no one was watching. I almost immediately fell in love with the show. The cast has a good dynamic, the show isn't overly political, the special effects are done well, and there's a good balance of action and drama. The real selling point is the technology shown in universe. Little touches like mag-boots used in micro-gravity to cool ideas like a drug being used to combat the effects of high-gravity stresses are carried throughout the series. It's an ensemble cast where it feels like every character really does have a role to play, and you're invested in how their story pans out.
You've missed one of the greatest TV shows of all time - HALT AND CATCH FIRE. This show deserves EVERYTHING & MORE! A gem of show which unfortunately NO ONE HAS WATCHED! So sad that it's over!

I 100% agree with Ray Donovan, The Affair, UnREAL (especially) & The Knick. Same with Angie Tribeca, Love, Vice Principals, Taboo & Billions. Even Homeland has become somewhat under the radar lately the last 3 seasons IMO. Yes, it’s critically-acclaimed and very popular but after that mess of Season 3, it has picked itself up & regained as still one of the Best TV series out there but I rarely hear anybody talk about it anymore.
I’m watching Leftovers season 2 at the moment, I think I’ve got 2 episodes left. Great show so far! I’ve convinced one of my friends to give it a go soon too.
Leftovers was the best show I ever watched: I cried and laugh a lot, and the end simply blew my mind away... but it's that kind of show we can't suggest to everyone... it's about spirituality above religiosity, hope above faith, forgiveness above redemption, and it is not (it's complex and I think each one have his/her own experimentation). Few seasons was as amazing as was its second season (I could compare with the third season of Dexter).
While were on the TV show topic, y'all should check out Channel Zero. Great horror show IMO that is basically creepy pasta stories taken into live action Do yourself a favor and check it out my guys
Ha! I thought The Leftovers might be #1. Amazing series and, very importantly, an excellent finale (important to point out because it has the kind of premise that the finale could make or break).
I'm still gonna watch season 2, but if the characters are still undeveloped and the plot isn't further explored (the first one was basically all about setting up and never fully exlplored the interesting parts), then I'm quitting. The style is great, but there's not much good substance. At least for now. But that's my opinion.
Kingdom starring Frank Grillo absolutely belonged here, one of the most natural dramas on television, with an electrifying performance from Jonathan Tucker. Sadly, didn't find a large enough draw to make it past the 3rd season, small solace being that the season 3 finale isn't terrible as a season finale, but there was definitely more to tell.
Of course The Leftovers is at the top spot, it is one of the best if not the best show ever produced, a true masterpiece !! Fleabag and Utopia are two amazing show also

I'm still gonna watch season 2, but if the characters are still undeveloped and the plot isn't further explored (the first one was basically all about setting up and never fully exlplored the interesting parts), then I'm quitting. The style is great, but there's not much good substance. At least for now. But that's my opinion.

Kingdom starring Frank Grillo absolutely belonged here, one of the most natural dramas on television, with an electrifying performance from Jonathan Tucker. Sadly, didn't find a large enough draw to make it past the 3rd season, small solace being that the season 3 finale isn't terrible as a season finale, but there was definitely more to tell.
Billions, Black Sails, Banshee
I haven't seen any of the ratings regarding The Expanse but I find it hard to believe that nobody is watching a show that good

it wasn't any bad but for a fantasy show, it didn't bring anything new. I love the lead female actress(Bridget Regan) she is gorgeous .
Two series that definitely should have been on this list is TURN:Washingtons spies and Hell on Wheels.... those shows are so underrated..
